anyone can help to translate the content below to English? or at least the gist of it..

(Basically this is too hard for my burgeoning Korean, so I apologize in advance if I'm totally off base)

This was really confusing to my poor tired brain lol.  I thought at first the OP was saying like "retweet if you want cool Emoticons"  But then I read the text in the image, and it sounded like the OP was going to somehow go meet Hwang ShiMok/JSW and wanted people to do something??  If I get some time later today, I'll try logging into the daum cafe they tweeted the link to... But, if anyone on here has more than grade 1 Korean skills, please do help

  2. @twistedv  I was lucky enough to find a couple different versions of Jekyll and Hyde, which I guess is proof of what you say about that production being super popular.  :D

Totally agree that live performances just have a totally different energy-- probably because of the that immediate connection to the audience.  I've been lucky enough to perform onstage in RL a few times, and it's crazy how high you feel afterward.  There's nothing like it.  I can see why JSW is known for saying he loves theater more than movies/dramas.  But... live performances are like lightning in a bottle and I really want to be able to see JSW's face on my screen as much as possible lol.

Thanks for the other OST suggestions :)  I'll hunt them down!

  3. I may or may not have hunted down Jekyll and Hyde on Youtube earlier today to watch/listen to.  :D  It was two hours well spent lol.  Also, I really wish musical theaters in Korea would have the bright idea of making some extra money to support their productions by recording them to DVD/Bluray and selling them.  I really wish I'd known about Jo Seung Woo 3 years ago so I could've seen more of his Hedwig performances :(

Did you watch?  What did you think?  I actually only got through the first half of the episode in my rewatch because I forgot just how long those episodes were.

I had forgotten why the boat/island plan got so messed up (poor Bird PD).  And when they showed his drama highlights, it was all OB and Baker King!  And all those references to Na PD.  What a weird episode.

But seriously, how has it been over 4 years since that episode aired, and therefore 4 years since I watched it?

No! I've been out of commission from getting sick. :(  But I'm going to start now!!!  And yes, it is super weird to see that these episodes are from 4 years ago.  What have I been doing all this time? lol.

The  catch is they want new face actress and holding public audition....Joo Won and the Children I guess..

Well if they're doing an audition that means that we might get someone awesome like Kim SeulGi! She's not exactly a new actress, but she always brings spunk and heart to her characters, which is kinda what this role needs.

@ecs707a I'm gonna start watching 1n2d this weekend! :D  Wanna watch the first episode with me?

Well, there's nothing but Sweet Silence from both.

I know this was a serious post, but this line was hilarious mrdimples :)

I think I rather agree with @Jacquelyn Allen in that Joo Won has said that he doesn't much interest in being a star, he wants to be an actor.  Of course to us, doing random C-projects doesn't seem the best way to be either a star or an actor, but maybe this is his way of compromising with his company.  He'll do the cashcow projects as long as the stories are interesting to him.  Really, as long as he has the support of his family, friends, and fans, I think he'll be alright in the end.

I just don't like how unethical they are to their actors, like switching the focus to second lead instead of main lead and let him rot.If you know what I am talking about. It can't be the whole station don't know a single thing to let this happen. They just closed their eyes or maybe even participate in this awful act.

In any ways,I want my Joo Won to work in better environment... and don't want him to step into that station at all.Big 3 stations can have epic dramas too.

Ahh.. Ok.  I know exactly what you're referring to, and yeah it was ridiculous. But anyway, I thought you meant the type of dramas they put out, and was just surprised because most of the cable dramas are pretty good in terms of writing.

  8. Just a friend... lol no way.  I'm throwing my hat in the ring right now.  'boxing gloves are ready'  :D

Also re romcoms: Yeah... I can't watch them either.  I think the last one I watched all the way through was Coffee Prince lol.  Would our JooWon even want to do one?  He hasn't taken one so far right?  All his dramas have been at least somewhat serious or comedic.
