    @inaho101 the point that you raised exactly the same points that I have mentioned to realistic208a before. What I meant is the promotion like clips from the drama, not the actor and actress themselves. For example bts, stillcuts, or new clips just like tvn did for other drama. They have done it for previous episode by putting extra bts but why can't IQIYI released BTS the same time like tvn just like what @Heedong mentioned.

     

    By the way, there are interviews by Hyeri and Kiyong about second half of the drama. I will put it here once I get the translation.

    I'm not sure I'll be watching hyeri's new drama, need to know the storyline first, as for ki yong, I'll be there for him,haha..

     

     

    It's so sad beyond words. I never been so addicted to any drama before but MRIAG really make me happy.

     

    I really love this shoot where Woo Yeo and Lee Dam start to realise their feeling towards each other. So many emotion here.

    @HeedongI don't know how they did that (not falling in love with each other during shooting). I guess they need to brush off quickly and need to be mentally prepared when entering this industry.  Hyeri like "tsundere" type? I didn't know that. But Ki Yong did mention in one of the interview, people often see him as cold and not friendly but once people know him, he can be cheeky and friendly. Maybe this is one reason Hyeri was not so close to him before during their first drama. 

     

    But in most of the interview they always refer themselves as their real name not character like other actor and actress did for the drama promotion which I find very refreshing because they are true to themselves and don't look fake. I am in the process of withdrawal syndrome when the drama ends. :criesariver:

    @Heedong I guess they are too immerse with their character.. hahaha. Same during Amazing Saturday show, in the end, both of them holding hands together during the entrance of the show. Someone said in the youtube comments, Ki Yong is a player because he is too handsome and sweet talker.  But Hyeri her personality is too bubbly and carefree so I don't know if she don't really mind about this. I read in the internet before the current bf, Hyeri previously date someone much older than her (with 16 years gap!) . I guess she is comfortable with older man. But of course Ki Yong even young in age but he is rather 'old' and mature :lol:

     

    Whatever their decision, we just follow right? :tounge_wink:

    The script reading was done last year I think and it is a bit hush-hush about the production and also the cast. They took almost a year I think to release this clip? Not sure why but other drama so many promo, list of casts, cameo is known earlier. I know Hyeri posted many picture in her ig but still not many aware about this drama. Even this thread start September 2020 and received a bit lukewarm response from Sommpier including myself. But when they posted the editorial 1stlook picture, many start to pay attention to this drama.

    @realistic2280a I think they had finished their promo. Maybe tvn or IQIYI will released the last interview video (most probably recorded after they have done their shooting) after the drama ends in the social media channel. 

     

    Ki Yong and Hyeri are now shooting for their next drama and I don't think they will do another promo for MRIAG.  Unlike other tvn drama where they shoot simultaneously during the running of the drama, the actor and actress still 'in' their character but now I think both of them have to  move on to their 'new' character in their new drama. 

     

    @HeedongI'm sure they have a lot of pictures together and I hope we are lucky enough if they able to show us all of them! I think Ki Yong will follow Hyeri if she update their picture in the insta. But now knowing Ki Yong is busy shooting his new drama, not sure if he will update them again. Let us pray they will do update again since the finale approaching in two weeks.

    To be frank many falls in love with JKY and Hyeri chemistry because of MRIAG.  As I said in earlier posts when I joined this thread, I start to follow JKY and Hyeri work since I'm not their fan before and I hardly know what was their work (I don't even watch Reply 1988).  
     

    All just by accident watching promo clips at tvn channel on my cable tv and boom! Love them so much!!

    Thanks @inaho101. Indeed the writer do add more elements in the storyline to make the drama even better. I can see many webtoon avid readers make a lot of comparison and some of them complaining what should be there and not. It's definitely not easy to please both webtoon reader and drama fans but overall they did great.

    Rewatching episode 12 before going to sleep.  Looking at so many emotions playing in this episode, what I can say both of them are in dilemma.

     

    Kimchi preparation session taught Woo Yeo human need to work hard just to eat kimchi. Simple minded fox thinking human do this for no reason i.e awards. Probably with all the magic he had, he is living in an easy life. Remember he told Dam he works because he got nothing to do in Episode 1? Now spending time with Dam, work hard and spend time looking at the Dam's childhood album and having conversation with her, makes him think about the meaning of life or human behaviour.

    Woo Yeo desperately want to be a human now because of Dam. I'm feeling sad when Woo Yeo want to be her ordinary dream while Dam worries about Woo Yeo will be left alone when she die. At this point, I can see Woo Yeo want to get old with Dam and he taking Dam's childhood picture (not sure why, maybe he want children with her in the future?) since he also want a family.

     

    Woo Yeo cannot bring to himself to tell Dam that his time is limited and he don't want to see Dam sad. I think Woo Yeo is suprised seeing Dam looking him as a monster not the man she love when he put the magic spell to the lady professor. Woo Yeo again being clueless fox don't know how technology works? (Hello smart phone with camera). Definitely he cannot lied to Dam about going out with the lady professor and with all the nosy students in the campus rooting for handsome profesor. And holding hands in the middle of the day? (Despite whatever reason). Lady professor licking her lips after coming out from Woo Yeo office is very suspicious (where I suspect the marble exchange happen but not showing in the drama). 

     

    Hye Sun despite being a very pretty bimbo but she is indeed very wise in her own way. She is another clueless fox but she knows the meaning of life. Maybe in the future episode will reveal who is Jea Jin to her (probably the one she loves is actually reincarnated to Jea Jin). I really like how Hye Sun taking care of Dam when Woo Yeo is not around. She acting like nuna to Dam which is very lovely to see in this drama. Hye Sun x Jea Jin is the next best couple in this drama that complement the storyline.

     

    So Woo Yeo is now heart broken because Dam wants to end their relationship and maybe in the next episode both of them trying to console each other and asking for forgiveness (based on the preview). Just curious how Woo Yeo taking the marble back without hurting Dam's feeling again. I will be mad seeing my bf need to kiss another women to get the marble back.. lol

     

    One thing I'm really curious why Hye Sun keep saying the Mountain Spirit as 'Old Man'. Is he in form in the old man previously hundreds years ago? 


    Anyway, I'm glad JKY is the Gumiho instead of any older actor playing this character. He might looks much much older than Hyeri in this drama but both of them looks visually beautiful together. I just feel looking at some high-label brands advertisement when both of them together. They should do endorsements together in my opinion. Image how many couple suits, t-shirt will sold-out because of them :D

    I have read comments about MRIAG in My Drama List and I can some comments the drama is no longer about comedy but start to turn into melodrama. For me the flow of this drama is neatly done by the writer and it just episode to wrap everything in the webtoon.  For me one hour for each episode is not enough and keep me wanting more and more.

     

    I guess some viewers want everything to be soft and fluffy throughout 16 episode? :tounge_wink:

     

    One thing people forget this story about Mr Gumiho and his soulmate. His ultimate goal is to become a human but he need to understand how to become a human and not just collecting the energy. Few thing I dislike about this drama is the toxic male character (second lead that will do anything to get attention from women he like) and bad mouth about your crush bf directly (and he is your professor too!) and also relationship between professor and student (Woo Yeo and Dam, sorry). I really wish they didn't follow the webtoon 100% and keep Woo Yeo as history writer instead.
