Yeah, that too...he really is surrounded by enemies. No wonder he developed a physical manifestation to his natural aversion of people. Like I said, I do hope he has some allies too, otherwise it's going to be super hard for him as, judging by the pictures we're getting, he does look like a bit of a man-child, so I'm not expecting him to be very savvy about the way the world works.
Also, I'm already imagining how difficult is going to be for Ji Ah to keep up with the pretense once she does start having feelings for him. Even more so since her character's description includes the fact that she's very empathic and, with him, she'll have someone who has been suffering for a very long time. It's heartbreaking only thinking about this.
And finally, Baek Kyun...I don't know what to make of him, to be honest. I would really like for him to develop a bromantic relationship with Min Kyu but at the same time, I know that he's Ji Ah's ex-boyfriend so that's also going to be a quite strange love triangle. And then there's that female second lead who will probably have feelings for Min Kyu too.
This already sounds like a really meaty plot...doesn't it?
the beauty in Min Kyu's character and Yoo Seung Ho's acting is that he can look so naive and an easy target to be fooled but he's no dummy and capable enough to protect himself!! yes he was and will be fooled by many people but that came from their hard work to come up with those plans and taking advantage of his unique condition but aside from his lonely, full-of-fear, childish side there is also the rude, know-what-he-wants side in him as well!! how do you think Min Kyu had and still maintained all his wealth from?!! and why do you think the evil guys are/will working hard to take over his power if he was the man-child that they could take advantage of and fool easily?!! and he have an IQ of 157 so he's smart enough to outsmart his enemies when it's needed!!
but we need alies for sure and you can see me counting and classifying them!! hhhhhh
she'll have alot of guilt, I can see it already!! and his genuine clear loving eyes and sweet smile will kill her both ways!!
oh yeah that will be complicated!!

Oh noes! So it's kind of confirmed that SOMEONE is going to be after Min-kyu's money, and it makes me infinitely sad that he's being taken advantage of. It's going to be really painful to see his reaction once he realises the girl he's fallen in love with was in the scam plan from the beginning. I do sincerely hope that he will have someone close who can take care of him!
On a more shallow note, I'm really liking all the clothes that he's wearing. The man can rock anything, but that grey long cardigan looks indecently good on him!
well as bad as it is that Beak Kyun and Ji Ah will be fooling Min Kyu for financial reasons, which will break Min Kyu's heart and newly found trust in people and by result will break my heart for him, they're not the real threat for Min Kyu!! the real threat comes from Hwang Yoo Chul and moste likely the other two old men who will go after his shares and the power he holds over FM company!! I can hope that Ji Ah, Baek Kyun and Santamaria gang will redeam their mistake by helping him against his real enemies!!

Let the cute promos continue! MBC has released more stills and posters for its upcoming robo-rom-com I’m Not a Robot, starring Yoo Seung-ho (Ruler—Master of the Mask), Chae Soo-bin (Strongest Deliveryman), and Eom Ki-joon(Defendant). I really like the adorable and modern feel of the two posters—the first has Instagram hashtags that say things like “Welcome, it’s your first fidgety rom-com, isn’t it?” and “Can we do this?” and the second poster incorporates robotic circuitry layout.
Yoo Seung-ho plays an ultra-desirable man who literally has everything, from money to power to good looks. But after a particularly heartbreaking incident, he developed a “human allergy” condition that makes it hard for him for him to physically face people. As a result, he’s been living in seclusion ever since, and whenever he has to go out, he shields himself with gloves, masks, and canes to keep the people away.
SpoilerWhen he meets Aji-3, a world-class female android, he begins falling for it—but unbeknownst to him, she’s been human all along. Chae Soo-bin plays both the robot Aji-3 and Jo Ji-ah, a human woman whose features were the model for Aji-3 because her ex-boyfriend, played by Eom Ki-joon, created it in her likeness.
In former character descriptions, Jo Ji-ah was described as a warm entrepreneur with an extraordinarily high ability to empathize with others, whereas Aji-3 was described as a premier AI machine with a strong curiosity about humans programmed into it. Eom Ki-joon plays an engineering genius professor who is extremely book smart, but completely out of his element when it comes to relationships and romance. Due to an unavoidable circumstance, Jo Ji-ah ends up impersonating Aji-3 as a part-time job.
I’ve become very excited for the cuteness to come. MBC drama I’m Not a Robotwill begin airing next week Wednesday-Thursday, starting December 6.

my comments on the preview and interview episode in no particuler order!!
- I think now we can see what was behind all this robot act, Baek Kyun is really in a financial crises and so is Ji Ah and so they agreed to team up to "deceive" Min Kyu to be able to develop the android robot and Ji Ah will get some money too I believe as well!!

one of the things I really loved about Min Kyu's character is that he's sincerely serious with all his reactions which is the fun source!! I so loved his freaking out reaction in his 1st encounter with both Aji 3 and Ji Ah (who are the same actually)!! and his genuine and adorable look falling for her act is so cute and so is his frustrated reaction!! hhhhh
- and I'm wondering what's behind Min Hyu's fear?!! he even needs his packages to be examined?!! why?!!

why are Santamaria gang in Min Hyuk's house?!! did they move into his house because of the "robot" that they'd need keep its maintenance?!! well I won't say no to more company for our lonely Min Kyu but as we know the more they'll use and deceive him the more hurt he'll feel when he'll realise the truth!!

there is a scene where Aji 3 is holding an umbrella over Min Kyu and if I'm not wrong there is rushing marks on his neck!! looks like his fun day between the croud didn't end well!! wait, is it because of Baek Kyun who punshed him?!!
- is Min Kyu's parents' grave inside his garden?!! or was it just me thinking that way?!!

why do they keep missunderstanding Yoo Seung Ho's need for a robot that help him take a shower?!! hhhhhhhhhhh shame on them!! and how adorable of him feeling bad thinking his attempt to friendly tease Choi Soo Bin did hurt her feelings and made her wear less clothes in such a cold day?!! what to do of him?!!

but really, that one-piece thin dress!! I feel bad for her shooting in such cold weather with such thin outfit, good thing Min Gyu will buy her new clothes in the second half of the drama!! but that's when he'll find out who she really is or before?!! because he used to tell her he'll buy her a battery, you know!!!!

we can see that Min Kyu's 1st love is still there from both sides but how things will end?!! obviously he'll fall for Ji Ah but will Ye Ri El go the crazy evil 2nd lead road or will she stay a good friend to him?!! my hope goes for the later!!...I loved how she (the actress) saved Yoo Seung Ho who was standing there not knowing what to say about the "potential" kiss scene between them!! hhhhhhhhhhh

Yoo Seung Ho commenting how he likes the sound of being called "oppa" by a younger female co-star (having acted mostely with actresses who are older than him) was so cute and the MC calling him "oppa" was hillarious!! hhhhhhhhhhhh he definitely didn't mean that!!

it was funny seeing Yoo Seung Ho acting confident but he can't keep it for long for sure!! that shy smile of his!! and his "I can't live like that (Min Kyu's luxurious lifestyle)" who knows Yoo Seung Ho, knows he lives his life frugally and Min Kyu's character's lifestyle is 180° different from Yoo Seung Ho's real lifestyle!!

hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh poor him!! I was watching through my fingers when he started kissing the pillow!!
now what my take and what I understood from the preview:

1st thing we saw was Min Kyu smiling and that puted a smile on my face instantly but my smile kept fading the more we get to see how empty and lonely his life inside his huge and beautiful house!!

I believe the scene where Min Kyu took off his gloves and touched the doctor (to my shock) was related to his military medical exams as we saw two soldiers on the door when Min Kyu left the room and apparently the doctor was accusing Min Kyu of coming up with such non-existing medical case to get excemption from serving his duties as the doctor was asking him "don't you feel sorry (ashamed)" and that's when Min Kyu took off his gloves and t-shirt (but we saw nothing...boooo) holding the doctor's hand to show him his allergy signs in person and leave no doubt about it!! (what hapened to his hand though... )

Min Kyu basically feels defeated knowing he won't be able to love nor get married with his human allergy after the doctor telling him how he's the only one with this medical case and so there is no cure for it!! and when the doctor told him that there must be a woman who'll fall in love with him in this world, Min Kyu replyed "If there is, she will not be normal." cue to Jo Ji Ah screaming!! hhhhhhhh yeah she's not normal indeed!!
- Min Kyu already revealed his doubts that Baek Kyun is trying to scam him but I believe he managed to fool Min Kyu showing him how Aji 3 can manifest emotions as well!!

also we saw Jo Ji Ah's 1st reaction seeing Min Kyu having moony eyes admiring how handsome he is!! hhhhhhh but that 1st impression will crash when he'll start acting rudely no?!!

@YourHighness . no it's psychological!! as I understood, Yoo Seung Ho said in his interview yesterday that due to a childhood trauma Kim Min Kyu was suffering from human allergy illness for 15 years!!
Min Kyu still believe she's Aji 3!! you can see Jo Ji Ah is still wearing her robot acting outfet, Kim Min Kyu is just happy around her as the only person/robot he can have contact with and is starting to feel like living normally around her which I'm happy to see for him but makes me sad as well believing their lie!! and don't know why Hong Baek Kyun punshed him but I don't like it!!

Yoo Seung Ho Shows Depth Of His Emoting During A Single Phone Call In “She’s Not A Robot?!” Stills
With just about a week left until its premiere, MBC’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama “She’s Not a Robot?!” has given another curious look at lead Yoo Seung Ho in character.
The romantic comedy follows the story of Kim Min Kyu (Yoo Seung Ho), who is seemingly perfect with his looks, wealth and skills, but is “allergic to humans.” He falls in love with what he thinks is a humanoid robot, but is actually a girl pretending to be an android (Chae Soo Bin).
In the latest stills, Yoo Seung Ho goes through a myriad of emotions while answering a phone call. While he happily answered the call initially, he appears increasingly saddened and disappointed by whatever he hears as time passes. His expressions leave many wondering who and what would evoke such reactions.
The production team commented, “Actor Yoo Seung Ho really has an infinite number of attractive points. The charm he has and his unique character combined create a tremendous synergy.” Notably, this drama will also mark Yoo Seung Ho’s first romantic comedy.

Hi chingu!! happy you're joining us here!!
we guessed as much from a leading man with human allergy and a female lead pretending to be a robot!!
but other than one kiss by the very end I think the 1st kiss we will get will be more near the end (unlike other rom-coms) where he'll get to discover her true identity, after all even though he ended up kissing a pillow (poor guy 
) he won't try to kiss a robot even if he fell for Ji Ah thinking she's a robot!! and we can hope for more kisses from that point on, I'd like to think that way at least!! 
yeah he's naive in the personal aspect and I hate and fear that the most!! for now we know that Min Kyu believe Hwang Yoo Chul to be his best friend and he made him his representative out of trust for sure and same goes for Hwang Do Won who is told to be Min Kyu's father, and according to my theory he's Kim Min Kyu's adoptive father and Hwang Yoo Chul's father, who he made him the president of FM company and through that we can see that he actually had his trust on the wrong people for now!!
can't really recall if he was discribed that way but I totally see it in Min Kyu's character from the different emotions and sides we got to see from him through the preview and the stills and the director himself pointed how Yoo Seung Ho is the perfect actor for this role for his great ability in injecting sincerity in all and whatever kind of emotions he's showing!!
