Chae Soo Bin And Yoo Seung Ho Meet Again Under Different Circumstances In New “I Am Not A Robot” Stills
MBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “I Am Not a Robot” has released new stills that tease tumultuous times as Yoo Seung Ho and Chae Soo Bin begin living in the same house.
In the drama, Yoo Seung Ho plays Kim Min Kyu, a man who is perfect in every way but has the single flaw of being allergic to other humans. Meanwhile, Chae Soo Bin is taking on two roles, the passionate young entrepreneur Jo Ji Ah and the world’s greatest robot Ah Ji 3.
The drama made its premiere on December 6 and showed the two characters meeting for the first time as a part-time worker and customer. However, this was only the beginning for the duo as they will meet again as a robot and her owner.
The new stills tease a comical second meeting between Yoo Seung Ho and Chae Soo Bin as Jo Ji Ah enters Kim Min Kyu’s house instead of Ah Ji 3. Jo Ji Ah has a shocked expression on her face when she recognizes Kim Min Kyu as the customer she had had an unfortunate run-in with earlier during her part-time job. Her nervous expression and Kim Min Kyu’s concentration as he writes something down is enough to get viewers curious for what will come next.
The production staff of “I Am Not a Robot” stated, “The two characters had quite an interesting first meeting, and that will also be the case for their second meeting. Their story as a robot and her owner is set to be a funny one, and we think viewers will be able to enjoy the upcoming episode more if they compare how Chae Soo Bin and Yoo Seung Ho interacted in the first episode and how they will behave around each other in the upcoming episode.”
“I Am Not a Robot” is a romantic comedy about a man who has never dated because he has an allergy to humans and a woman who has to pretend to be a robot. The next episode will air on December 7 at 10 p.m. KST.

by "contacted" you mean by Baek Kyun to be Aji 3's owner?!! if that's you're question, Min Kyu is actually the owner since he's the one who bought Baek Kyun's company and was to sell it to a new company but I think Baek Kyun needed to save his company and himself by having a deal with Min Kyu before the deadline date knowing his invention will be torn to peices if the selling goes on!! I think so at least!!

as for Min Kyu touching the doctor, it was to prove his allergy existance since they kept accusing him of being a liar because they never heard of such medical case not even psychological cases and his only way to prove his words is by showing it to them!!
actually I see Ji Ah's brother to be a great help to Min Kyu in the future!! as we can see he's the only person on Min Kyu's supporter queue against Yoo Chul's in the company!!

and I can totally see why they broke up giving "I can see you weren't doing well, I'm happy" "because I'm genious" answers to her pointing his weird behaviour and uncapability to get her point while talking to him!! there is a huge miscommunication here!! but yeah rioght now both of them still have feelings for each other apparently!! let's see how her and Min Kyu's feelings for both their 1st love will change and will fall for each other!!

finally I finished watching the episode(s) with subs!!
and you all can guess why 1 hour long episode took 2 hours of watching!! -
1st thing, I'm so greatful to Yoo Seung Ho for taking this role!! we knew he's cute and adorable but we didn't get to see that adorable side of him much on his projects but we finally get it!! and I love the nuance different emotions he's showing allowing us to see the sadness and lonliness though Min Kyu's bright smile!! I think I got infected by Min Kyu that I ended up jumping out startled just like him!! this is not good!!
- also I admire Chae Soo Bin for the way she played the robot role!! she was really convincing in her way of talking, moving to the way of breathing and blinking!! she did a great job!!

and Min Kyu is aware of Yoo Chul's hidden agenda?!! he sent an e-mail to madame X (who's that to begin with) asking for the documents related to the contract his company was to sign selling Min Kyu's company to a UK company and from the look on Yoo Chul and the other employer in there we can be sure that Min Kyu's questions bothered whatever plan they had and they were hiding and I couldn't be happier seeing him reminding Yoo Chul of their respective positions

One quick note: In English, medical doctors are called "doctors" but PhD's can also be called "doctors" especially in a research setting. In Korean, medical doctors and PhDs are called by 2 different terms. To differentiate since HBY is not a medical doctor, I chose to call HBY a "professor" though I don't think he's in a classroom setting, however, he's basically a research scientist.

I like how they clarified all Min Kyu's doubts about Aji 3 being a real human in a way that clarifies our questions about him not doubting Ji Ah pretending to be a robot (being toooooo bad at that role
) and why his allergy isn't reacting to her, but how can he doubt her after seeing her/Aji 3's metal body?!! and his brain and psychology has already been set that she's of no threat to him and so his allergy won't react to their skinship moments!! that was really smart!!

And Jung Dae Yoon PD is very highly skilled. There's a huuge but huuge difference in terms of directing between IANAR and ruler.
It was a bit chaotic refreshing the pages to get the recaps and the short clips at the same time

MG seems to have acquired JA's services to procure the game for him via a website, since he's talking about uploading his complaint. So, the handover of goods is when they seem to actually first meet. Unfortunately, there is that corndog smudge on the box which MG finds unacceptable, but JA has no idea of why MG is causing a fuss like that. Plus, MG retained the box in his car, so I'm with JA that she needs to be paid. Especially since MG has so much money.
I was glad to see that MG did stop the car and get out when he thought he had hit JA. I don't think she was faking an injury to get MG out of his car necessarily. I think she was flung off the car when MG tried to drive off, and stayed down both to catch her breath, but also in case, MG did come back to take a look at her.
I wasn't watching live. Just saw the first few clips, and wrote up a translation so that I could talk about things that struck me. I see that there are recaps with translations being posted, so I won't post too many translations on this thread.
It's a cute drama so far with a fun first episode. Already, I like both of the leads, and I can't wait for their further interactions. Given that MG had already called JA a fraudster/scam artist, I wonder what his reaction will be when he finds out that JA was really involved in a fraudulent situation? Or perhaps, he'll already be too enamoured of her by then to make his accusations?

their 1st encounter was hillarious and left both of them having a wrong 1st impression on each other
but while Ji Ah will get to change that 1st impression seeing who he really is as his "robot" things will be a little bit complicated for her though especially with Min Kyu being already an overly protective person and opening up for the 1st time to someone and trusting him after all these years to realise that his trust was used against him will be quite painful and don't know how he'll react to it!! but I'm sure he'll see her true good heart with time and forgive her lie!!
I loved how Min Kyu went out of his car to check on Ji Ah!! and the way I see it he's someone who'll do the right thing even if it's against his protective instinct which I love!!
and no I don't think Ji Ah was faking it to catch him but she used it to her benefit for sure!! now that hilarious bickering stoped being hillarious and took a serious turn when he started reacting to the skinship he had with her!! I literally started screaming for her to let go of him!! this alllergy is scarely severe!!

no, it wasn't intented from the start!! the real humanoid robot will get broken a day before it's send to Min Kyu and I think he didn't agree to delay the delivery day so they were forced to ask Ji Ah to take the role of a robot as a part-time job!!

Yoo Seung Ho Enjoys His Life Of Solitude In New “I Am Not A Robot” Stills
MBC’s upcoming drama “I Am Not a Robot” has shared new stills of Yoo Seung Ho keeping busy by himself that reflects a dark part of his past.
In the drama, Yoo Seung Ho plays Kim Min Kyu, a man who has everything that anyone could ask for. Unfortunately for him, he also has an allergy to humans that forces him to always stay covered from head to toe and to always carry around a baton to interact with people.
In the new stills, Yoo Seung Ho is all smiles as he keeps himself entertained in his home. When there aren’t people around him, he seems to be more at ease, especially as he isn’t forced to cover up and be on alert. From swimming to building a card castle and even holding a birthday party for his robot vacuum cleaner, Yoo Seung Ho can be seen enjoying a variety of activities. But underneath his familiarity with having to do everything by himself is a sense of loneliness that emanates from him.
The “I Am Not a Robot” production staff stated, “The scenes showing Min Kyu playing by himself are very meaningful. He is used to playing, eating, and living by himself because he hasn’t gotten along with others from a young age. The core of the drama will be following Min Kyu as he learns to open up to the world through his interactions with Ah Ji 3. He will go through quite the transformation in the drama.”
“I Am Not a Robot” is a romantic comedy about a man who has never dated because he is allergic to humans and a woman who has to pretend to be a robot. The first episode will air on December 6 at 10 p.m. KST.

I mentioned it earlier, from what I saw we can assume that Min Kyu was going throgh his military medical exam: he was facing a doctor and there was two soldiers on the door when Min Kyu left the room and apparently the doctor was accusing Min Kyu of coming up with such non-existing medical case to get excemption from serving his military duties as the doctor was asking him "don't you feel sorry (ashamed)" and that's when Min Kyu took off his gloves and t-shirt holding the doctor's hand fiercely to show him his allergy signs in person and leave no doubt about it!!
hhhhhhhhhhh don't think they'll let him cry on shower!! his tears doesn't need to merge with the shower water drops!!
