1) If she pays special attention to you. Although many girls are just trying to be nice, so you shouldn't be forming conclusions on who likes who. If she flirts with you, if she pays extra time to be with you, if she constantly gives eye contact, etc. But remember! A lot of girls I know, including myself sometimes, like to play hard to get. Those girls try to keep eye contact to the minimum, but when they do look at you, they're trying to see if you look at them. But sometimes it's not a sure thing she likes you, there's a possibility she's trying to make you jealous because she thinks you like her.

2) Something that expresses love and care. Most of us wouldn't care much if it's something cheap, but we surely won't like it if it's something you bought of the market randomly the other day. She wants to know you care about her, and spent time searching for the perfect gift. It would also be nice if you're assured it's something she likes, so you should know her well (e.g. her tastes).

3) Most of the time, guys are considered the people who should do the hard work in a relationship e.g. asking out. It would be better to be assured she likes you back. Send her signs (e.g. eye contact) if necessary. If you can't be bothered to find out, ask her straight out because waiting can make it worse. Also make sure she's single. Then just ASK HER OUT. I mean, what is there to lose? It will seem very pathetic of a guy to ask his friend to do the job, esp. if the girl doesn't know the guy (well).

I don't have much experience on this. But I hope I helped a bit, one way or another.

1. shes always talking to you, she's willing to do something for/with you.. just the little simple hints, but guys don't really catch it -__-"

1. Talk with her more. Spend more time with her and see how she acts around you. If she's especially nice with you compared to other people and wants to be next to you for the most part, chances are that she likes you.

2. Jewelry. lol. Seriously, anything that comes from a guy that I like, I'll treasure it .

3. The same way she would ask you xD. Most of the time, guys are the one who make the first move. So just wait that one day, you're alone with her, and then when the moment is right, ask her out.

1. Well, to tell if a girl likes you or not determined on her action around you. Ex: I crush this guy whom I talk to everyday, brightens up my day (when I'm bored), always make me smile and never gets tired of talking to him. Lol. That's how I show my action when I like a guy. Another Ex: When I don't like a guy, I ignore him (totally ), make excuse not to talk to him, gets annoyed easily...That's how I show that I'm not interested in him at all. Is this a little bit too much? ^^;;

2. Diamond is a girl's best friend. ;D But I don't like jewelary. They're kind of annoying. ;; I think a cute gift would be a teddy bear<3 (at least this is what I think).

3. I never ask a guy out before. o_o;; If I was a guy, I would wait for the perfect moment then ask her out. Obviously, my respond is quite stupid. -.-;;

so many ppl have answered this haha but i guess thats good, more opinions help right?

1. Well you'll know she likes you if she flirts. Singling someone out to walk might just be her being nice though, a lot of girls tend to be friendly and not mean anything else. There's different levels of 'like' as well because sometimes its just harmless flirting. if she is quite persistant in talking to you all the time and not with anyone else then there might be chance she does like you in that way. (ok im so pessimistic)

2.gifts...well i think the majority would like something expensive and thoughful. beautiful jewelry is one, or something you know she likes. i wanted a wii but my bf gave one to his sister so he can just die.

3. i guess the traditional view is that if the guy asks the girl first, then its a lot more romantic. you can either be creative and pop the question when she leasts expects it or maybe you can take her out for dinner and ask her? as ur 16 i doubt ur gonna be loaded so i suggest just ask her on a date.

Well you shouldn't even think about FORCING her to do anything if she's not comfortable, the issue is within herself and she needs to sort that out if she's gonna try and be in a relationship with you. But to that same end you should also demonstrate to her how trustworthy you are through little actions and things you say and do everyday.

As girls, all we can say is what we personally do when we like a guy. I would go out of my way to cultivate a special relationship with the guy that's different from all the other girls..I'd talk to him one-on-one a lot and make sure we have some inside jokes, but also show that I can discuss serious things so he feels comfortable. Also I'd show that I love to have him around by smiling a lot and teasing him also =)

Well, first I would ask her on a couple dates and if those go well I'd try to take the relationship to the next level, probably starting with telling the girl how much I've enjoyed spending time with her and I hope to continue, etc...you don't have to worry about being fancy or very creative just be calm and light-hearted about it.

1. she's probably interested -- somewhat

2. for a bday or just christmas, i would love a card and a hug

none of my guy friends had EVER given me a damn card

3. just don't ask them online or through the phone. that's the worst scenario because many of my friends, after their breakups, would talk about how "gay" they got asked out and all this other crap about their ex. just a warning lol

Well, you can never go wrong with bringing her to great restaurant, preferable with great view or the ones that are unique. Have you hear about this restaurant on top of a tower that moves around? Well, something unique like that.

If you want to bring her to the movies, reserve a special room or a golden seat.

Or you can just take a stroll after dinner.

Visit interesting shops, like some sort of glass shop where you can do your own glass creations and then you can give her that as a souvenir.

Whatever it is, to create one heck of a first date, one needs meticulous plannings.

I watched many k-dramas and they have the best date ideas.

You can also have a picnic at the beach later at the evenings and end it with fireworks at night.

Or while you guys are eating, hire violinists to play..That's really sweet.

If there's a play, you can bring her there too.

Oh well, those are my ideas...I hope it's not too far-fetched to use.

Yeah, we would. If that's the path you choose for your future, it's a dangerous one...

I need date ideas. Where to go, what to do. Anything will help.

- it's summer, go to the beach (as the day ends, go for a stroll together on the beach)

- find an interesting restaurant or somewhere that offer something that no other restaurants would, and bring her there.

- amusement park. (yeah, sounds kid-ish. But you get to win her a teddy bear, and I think that around her age, girls still like getting that from a guy) -- this one will depend on her personality.

- A walk in the park at night. (I find that going on the swings is fun, nostalgic and romantic all at once. She'll find it original.)

- this may sound really farfetched... but doing something extreme together. ie.: bungee jumping, parachuting, etc. (I saw it on TV xD. A couple admitted that after bungee jumping together -hugging each other and jumping- they felt closer).

all of the above are kinda weird ideas, I know xD. You can always do something simpler.

- cook for her

- go watch a movie at the theatre

- go to a coffee place during the day (instead of going out at night)

- walk around downtown

Unless you have telepathy,no. But you could give her hints by seeming uninterested in what she has to say,eventually she'll get it. If you want to speed up the process you can bring up how you don't like her talking about the past. You can do it in a playful manner so she won't get offended. Although its playful she should get the message.

ahahah you sound like my bf XD i;ve had a john teshed up past and it seems to be resurfacing so i'll tell you a lil of what my bf said

tell her that you understand the past was hard, but what are you going to do? go back in time and change it? we cant. so ask her to look ahead, and not behind, whats in the past stays there. but if she spilling her heart out to you just, understand it, listen take it in, if she becomes repeative, just let her know its depressing on your part that she keeps thinking of the past and not with what she has now...XD

Umm... lol. Too late for a meticulously planned first date. I kind of winged it last minute but it seemed pretty enjoyable. We had dinner, dessert, and a movie at my place. Nothing too crazy. I'm still getting to know her, and she's kind of hard to read, so I still don't know what kind of girl she is. She's not a party girl though. -shrug-

iEatPowder - Girls don't really open up to guys that fast. You can take your time. Your first date sounds typical, maybe you can do it better on the second date? It's not all that hard to impress a girl, you only need effort.

Lol. Funny, but no. Girls like to talk (duh). So just ask her if yyou can focus on the present instead of going back to the past, because it's way better to forget the past and to move on with your life. I think it's best if you just drop some hints.
