‘The Legend of the Blue Sea’ Finally to Air Its First Episode

‘The Legend of the Blue Sea’ is a fantasy romance drama that the last mermaid on the earth gets to meet a genius crook and adapts to her life on land. Lee Min Ho, Jun Ji Hyun, Shin Hye Sun, Lee Hee Joon and others will feature in it.

SEOUL, Nov. 15 (Yonhap) -- High-profile stars Jun Ji-hyun and Lee Min-ho revealed their roles in the upcoming fantasy-romance drama "The Legend of the Blue Sea" during a press conference to promote the series.

Lead characters Jun and Lee, along with starring cast Sung Dong-il, Lee Hee-joon, Shin Hye-sun and Shin Won-ho, held a promotional event prior to the premiere to introduce the roles they will be playing and answer drama-related questions from the audience at a hotel in southern Seoul on Monday.

Hi Chellsee, thanks for sharing more photos.  The promo photos for the drama grew into a mountain just before the premier day. I don’t complain & I’m not tired by the promotion at all. I like all the stills and posters. And I’ve noticed that this drama has held their presscon much closer to premiere day & I love it this way. During the presscon, LMH described JJH’s aura as more powerful than other actors. Ahhh.......so many photos from filming and BTS. Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji hyun look good together. They are so pretty together. I don’t dig her dress though. I couldn’t understand the dress. I didn’t get her concept. But, she's so beautifil, though. LMH is so gorgeous in his outfit for the presscon! The posters look stunning. Finally.......... “Legend of the Blue Sea” kicks off TONIGHT. Hoping this will be good. I hope this drama lives up to expectations. So, ye, my expectations are high – LOL & I have high hopes. It’ll be really interesting to see how it develops. Very excited for this! But, I’m worried a bit because the PD said it would be beautiful and SAD. I hope LMH gets his wish rating-wise, it is his last drama before enlisting, I really hope this will be a successful project for him because Korean audience have very different taste sometimes.

Truly enjoyed reading your thoughts on this. I´m on the anticipation train for this drama as well. It has been a long ride of promos after promos and fans just waiting and waiting. Since they started filming way back in august and that is like 3-4 months of filming and traveling. It has been a good ride. I´m on the fency whether to watch this raw or wait for the sub but as my anticipation is at all time high i might watch this one raw for the first time ever
