This is an excellent video of his arrival at Taiwan Airport.  Looks like it was shot by a pro, and it's 7-1/2 mins. long. This shows us how his welcome was orderly in the beginning, until the media gathered at the arrival area started to push toward him!  Because of this, havoc ensued and some people broke through the barriers and lunged toward Minho and co.  You can see how Minho stayed calm and had control of the situation.  He would stop when people were shoving, and would continue walking when people behaved.  Ahjussi1 was fierce!

@gisele_tw Our Minho is not used to pimples anymore.  It's been awhile since he's had these breakouts.  Must have had too much sweets over the holidays  )  But they're too tiny to matter!

By the way, one of our regular posters here managed to see uri Minho at the Taiwan airport last night.  We'll wait for her to tell us her story but she told me that there was panic at one moment and airport security was taken aback by the hordes of media and fans gathered for Minho's arrival.  She came out fine, her pics were blurry but she had the memory of seeing him up close to last her a lifetime

Why was the media so aggressive? They remind me of the paparazzi in the US. They were worse than the fans.

@prosperity I guess every reporter there just wanted a piece of him.  And the lowlives were the first to leave the scene when things got scary  :-t At 4:17 (of the 7 1/2 min vid that I posted) Minho stopped since the crowd was pushing into him.  There was a full minute when they weren't moving and I felt scared for him!  I really thought he would be squashed in there.  Good thing the fans pushed back and gave him enough space to walk through.

I was the one whom @pixie0622 mentioned to “encounter” MH on the evening of 9.10 at Taipei, Taoyuan airport. (I am in TW this week for holiday and an event, nope, not OSIM event  )

I arrived in Taipei, Taiwan on the same day (9.10) as MH -- I in the morning and MH at night. I decided to pop by to the airport in the night to see if I was able to catch a glimpse of MH on this way into TW.

I (with my sister) reached the airport at around 9.30pm, there were already many fans but things were orderly & organised. My sister stayed at one end where MH was expected to step out of the custom while I positioned myself at the other end nearer to his exit point. I wasn't positive at all if I would see him, deep in my heart I knew that the fans & crowd would go crazy.

This is what I took before MH arrived.

True to my speculation, once MH exited from the custom, all h*** broke loose. [Note] Where I was standing, majority (95%?) of the fans rushed forward but I stayed put, partly I knew it would be futile to join the crowd and partly I knew he would walk towards my direction (exit), which he actually did. When MH came closer, I could not see his front because he was blocked but when he walked pass me (which was like 3 human bodies away), I could see his left profile; all I can remember now is that he is TALL & HANDSOME & HANDSOME. I will keep this memory with me using my eyes & heart

I was really worried about him and those people around him, he was TOTALLY mobbed; he had little space to walk/move, he was in a very tight circle.  His body guard looked unhappy and the airport security kept shouting & using whistle asking fans to move back so that MH could move forward.

Side note, as the crowd moved back towards me which MH also did, I nearly fell backward because I was being pushed back, luckily the crowd diverted towards the exit & I managed to gain my ground.

This was what I managed to take when he came closer to me, instead of MH I had a very blurred view of MH body guard with partial MH right arm, please bear with it... (sorry for the poor & low quality)

My sister was luckier but she did not see MH at all (she is not very tall), but she held her phone camera high and snapped away... (spot MH)

Today was a first for me, it was an experience & eye opener; I don't think I will ever do it again. Not because I'm scared, but as a fan, I want to respect the people I support to give them space, space & space. 

[Note] After my back reading in Weibo, I noted that it was likely because the media rushed forward upon seeing MH exiting the custom which caused fans to follow suit. I still shudder as I recall the situation, because the whole place was beyond chaotic and scary, really scary. :-O

BTW my sister is NOT MH fan, she kept rolling her eyes at me throughout & after… and oh she said I was embarrassing =)) when I took this photo earlier in the day at Taipei Xi Men Ding subway station.

[sep 10] It was reported that this is MH's 7th visit to Taiwan and nearly 1,000 fans were at (Taoyuan) airport to welcome him. When MH appeared, the airport was momentarily put in chaos, even close to having a mini riot. All the fans wanted to get close to him, and it was said that even a reporter fell due to push & shove which caused MH to pause and take a look. MH's walk upon exiting the Customs area toward his waiting car took nearly 10 minutes.

MH flew to Taiwan after the event at Shanghai. Although it was already 10+ at night, throngs of fans swarmed to (Taoyuan) airport which showed his overwhelming popularity in Taiwan.

In July, MH took the VIP route when he was in Taiwan for (Innisfree) event and he felt regretful that he wasn’t able to say hello to his fans; so when he saw his fans at the airport this time, he was happy & friendly, smiling & waving to his fans the whole way.

[sep 10] 27 years old “Long Leg Oppa” LMH made his 7th appearance in Taiwan tonight.

MH would be meeting 600 lucky fans at a OSIM fan meet on 9.11, 4pm at ATT Show Box. MH's popularity continues to soar after “The Heirs”, and he had a fan meet in Shanghai earlier today before proceeding to Taiwan on the same day.

Arriving into Taoyuan airport T2, nearly a thousand fans were there to welcome MH, such immense popularity.

Many fans were disappointed when MH took the VIP route when he last visited Taiwan in July. Tonight he took the normal immigration path, nearly a thousand fans were seen waiting for his arrival, chanting “oppa” and “saranghaeyo”; there were clashes with the airport security as fans wanted to get close to MH. The path was blocked in the process causing difficulty for MH to move forward. MH appeared to be somewhat taken aback by the situation but he still waved & smiled at his fans, displaying his friendliness.

He left in a Merc S350 for his stay at Grand Hyatt. (elaborations on Grand Hyatt & food specialties similar to what have been posted earlier.)

SH Osim event - Yes! I went to kill that girl last nite already! (in my dreams.... ;p)I bombarded all my friends abt my plans to kill her after i saw the pics/videos surface online! Alot of Minoz now are complaining the games are too intimate! hahahaha
So far this event seems to give out the most fan services! U all saw when he fed another minoz cake... he will touch her cheek/chin! so much skin ship

@Mosquito thanks for sharing your story and glad you're okay. Last night indeed chaos situation, I think it's not wrong, if we blame the reporters. As soon as Lee Minho appears the reporters bombarded him with their BIG camera in front of him, it made fans difficult to see Lee Minho and also he can't greet his fans properly, so no wonder the fans would feel more eager to see him and start to follow him.



The bodyguards and security team really had hard day last night.

@alesia44 That 2nd photo you posted is hilarious  )  The ahjussis were refusing the gifts being offered by fans, so one fan managed to fling one over ahjussi2's neck  :-j  Look at his expression and even Minho's---Minho wasn't sure whether to accept it if only to relieve Ahjussi2's neck!  =))
Minho's aegyoness was through the roof last night so fans had fun putting together collages for posterity )
