Showbox has also sold distribution rights to most Asian territories for YU Ha 유하 | 庾河's Gangnam Blues 강남 블루스, starring heartthrob LEE Min-ho 이민호 | 李敏鎬. Rights for the film has been sold to China, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong's Edko Films Ltd 安樂影片有限公司. The film is currently in production and it set for release in December.

Does anyone know of this HK distribution firm? 
On one hand, I'm impressed that this film has already been sold to those countries while it has just started filming, at the same time I'm not surprised given his popularity.
Hopefully it will be sold in the U.S. too [-O< while I'm being greedy by a well-known distributor like the Weinstein.

Is your friend flying back to the States? Jetsu Air doesn't fly to the mainland, the only U.S territory they fly to is Guam.

Whether the airline is good or not, I'm sure your friend will have a good time because the majority of the customers will be LMH fan girls

@zinnia Thanks for sharing the GB insider's update.  I believe there are new insider updates today?  I kind of gleaned one comment about his out-of-this world handsomeness being out of place in the 70's? Again, thanks in advance for sharing these tidbits.  
While waiting for new stuff from Minho, I scan the early pages of this thread to get to know him more.  And I tell you, the more I know of him, the more I am enamored. One facet of his charm that I find so refreshing is his wit---smart yet very playful and sweet.
Let me share with my fellow newbies (indulge me, ye oldtimers) some excerpts of a twitter-based campaign that was arranged by a media group in 2011.  I'm not sure if this was repeated in later years (I'm still in 2011), but this is where I actually realized why Minho is the perfect celebrity for social media:  he thinks fast and he's naturally friendly.  (NOTE:  all these were happening while he was shooting City Hunter in July 2011.)

Seeing the StarhausM tweeter notices, the staff him/herself is now considering deleting all his/her posts in DC LMH gall, and fans are discussing it too.

So I will hold on.

@zinnia ( ( ( I hope the staff doesn't stop giving us updates. I can see Starhaus' point when it comes to pictures of cast members on the set and plot lines being revealed, etc... but personal anecdotes like Director-nim comparing him to Alain Delon, or Minho treating staff with ice cream or staff impression of him etc... I love those updates. They are spoiler-free and giving us fans something to smile about. Without those updates, the waiting just seems extra long.
