Interesting. So if I wanted to make my hair have volume at the top, I'd buy the green and if I wanted to get a messy look also, purple too right? x.x

I'm not good with these hair product stuff, lol.

Same here ~

I need a hair product to control the front of my hair >o<

But I also want big-ish hair

I can't buy this in Australia!!! :tears:

i bet your bro uses too much.... like he uses a little bit then goes "no not enough my hairs not going how i want it" and then adds more and his hair ends up being saturated with gatsby..

if you bro was to follow movies follow the one shimmy made or the gatsby ones.. the one by the melitus guy sucks.. (seriously_)

my way of using gatsby.

1. put a pit on fingers

2. rub all together but on fingers only

3. carefully pat your head with your fingers

4. carefully push your hair upwards (so it rises a bit)

5. do individual bits of your head

6. add hairspray

don't forget to use the hairdryer and straightner =]

Wow I love your hair and your style ^_^

You styled it really nicely with Gatsby =]]

Question though, does it make your hair greasy at all? And does it go flat throughout the day?? How does it hold up throughout the day?

They cost $5-$8AUD if you get them from Hong Kong. I got a friend to buy mine at Watson's. I think they cost $20 on Australian Ebay including shipping. I guess they cost more if you buy it at capitol in Sydney.

Wild Shake [PURPLE] - For medium short to short hair - Creates a casual messy look

Air Rise [GREEN] - For medium short to medium hair - Creates bounce and airyness with a light setting

Who's tried these two?

I'm thinking of getting one but I'm not sure.

My hair is kinda like eternal.happiness. Big at the top and thins down~

You don't have to use a lot of this product in the hair, right?

green is more for lift.. and makes your hair look more layered

purple is better for spikes (but i dont really like the feel of it after.. feels more waxy then the other gatsbys) XD

ive tried like every colour! =)

everyones going nuts over gatsby wax! i have a question tho.. how do girls use it??

You would use like it like any other hair wax.

There are some tutorials around on Youtube how to apply wax.

If green is for lift then that's probably what I'm going to get =]

Thanks for letting me know OukaKioshi!

XD npnp!.. i love green =) (but you should probably put some hairspray after.. cuz the WIND WILL BE YOUR WORST ENEMY! XD)

though sometimes i do my GREEN.. for the lift.. then i put some spikes with purple! =) haha

for girls using it.. im guessing it is the same.. but they'd probably use like.. green, orange, blue.. and stay away from like grey/pink/purple (unless they have short hair.. .. but they might look a bit like a guy XD)

green- lift.. so its not as flat i guess.. more volume.. you can do some twisting with it for some more texture

orange- IMO it works best for curls! haha.. just hold 3 fingers out like a "CLAW" haha.. and then do that with both hands.. and take a section of hair.. and twirl it around a bit.. it'll make some nice curls! XD (dont make all your curls the same size tho! XD)

blue - never used.. so XD cant help you there! sorry!

I live in Melbourne.

I bought the purple tub off ebay for 12 australian dollars.

Its mad stuff! Easy to apply, cus its more liquidy, but it hardens up once applied to hair. Great product!
