yeah.. i get what ur saying. when i was watching witch yoohee [no offense to dennis fans] but there were a lot of times where my sister and i laughed at what he said. sometimes, it sounded really slurred or mumbled and i probably couldn`t tell what he was saying if i didn`t read the subs, but i looked past that. i mean, i respected that he tried to learn/speak the language. i`m not really sure.. but vietnamese seems harder to speak than korean. my best friend is vietnamese and whenever i tell her to teach me something she gets frusterated at my accent LOL. when i teach her a word, it seems fine. LYA only learned it for like.. a month or so.. [?] but the fact that she speaks it so fast and not awkwardly really impresses me. although you might think different b/c her accent`s probably horrible. >.<

this is a korean drama. which means that the majority of the people watching are probably korean. korean people can`t tell whether she has horrible accent or not or whether she`s saying stove when she means water. i think the director want to make it more realistic and make her speak vietnamese. it would be weird for her to speak to her mom in korean when her mom doesn`t even understand it. you know?

^ you should ask what region of vietnam she is from because each region has different accent and tones, from this drama--golden bride they must be teaching the main actress vietnamese with a northern accent...which is totally different from the south...( it's like in the states where you have the northern and southern accents)

Jun Woo and Ji Young broke up 3 yrs ago, I believe. Not sure why. Maybe has to do with money. I have a feeling Young Min is jealous because of Junwoo. He must know or has a feeling that Ji Young still loves him. Ji Young may love YM but may not be as much as she loves Jun Woo still.

I never once considered that

YM and YS's father could be Jinjoo's dad

too. Woah, that'd be...odd, but possible.
