Well, there are a lot of drama/ romance movies inspired by shakespeare's plays. To name a few..

I think the movie "10 things i hate about you" is based on taming of the shrew

the movie "O" (mekhi pfeiffer, josh hartnett, julia stiles) is based on othello.

"get over it" (kirsten dunst) is based on a midsummer night's dream..

There's probably various others, but this is all i know..

haha Shakespeare is the master of romance stories..

I have to say it was was SO MUCH BETTER than those stupid teen ficks you think are going to end up no where haha!
