MakahaMusic
I transferred some more of my old compositions from cassette, this is more in the vein of the song in the previous post just above/before^ Here's another one: Baroquen-- http://www.broadjam.com/player/player.php?play_file=5366_413690&play_file=5366_413690 I play the guitars, keyboards and the first guitar solo Carlton Odo is on drums and Nathan Law plays the second guitar solo This one is progressive rock with a neo-classical tinge

Thank you!! I haven't posted the weblink to "We Shared A Name" yet..... For that song, yeah, it's just two guitar parts....recorded on my Roland VS1680 multitrack recorder Yeah it's me singing, I did a decent job singing on that song but I don't sound good singing certain genres.... On that particular song, I sound okay though.... That one is based on a true story.... Actually I try to base most of my songs on a true story, things that have happened to me or someone I know, I try to write about those things Regarding "Where You'd Be Today", yeah, I guess I felt comfortable posting it now.... I think the female version sounds a little bit better than the male version Thanks again!!

K-P
Hello! It's great to see another composer here! Your songs are all great, they sound really pro. Unfortunately, I'm technologically inept, so I'm seriously jealous of your fantastic instrumentals, cos I can't pull off even half a decent beat for toffee T_T Do you compose any like, pure instrumental stuff? Because I often do a lot of things that use live instruments, since I like performing and pulling together a lot of people to do stuff...

Because I often do a lot of things that use live instruments, since I like performing and pulling together a lot of people to do stuff... Thanks for the kind words. Answering your question about my pure instrumentals, they're kinda spread all over different pages of this thread, I'll put as many as I can find below: http://www.broadjam.com/player/player.php?...file=5366_80181 http://www.broadjam.com/player/player.php?...ile=5366_386506 http://www.broadjam.com/player/player.php?...ile=5366_386505 http://www.broadjam.com/player/player.php?...ile=5366_413690 http://www.broadjam.com/player/player.php?...ile=5366_413691 http://www.broadjam.com/player/player.php?...ile=5366_387844 http://www.broadjam.com/player/player.php?...ile=5366_386503 but be warned, the ones above are in very different genres: rock, jazz, jazz fusion, etc. I used live instruments, and live drums on some of them, and sometimes a drum machine here and there. Currently, I guess about 50% of my songs have vocals, the other half are instrumentals.

Guest Mabels
Two words, pure talent. Love the latest song. The vocalist's voice fit it perfectly too. Everything was just neat from the beginning to the end of the song. Keep it up .

Everything was just neat from the beginning to the end of the song. Keep it up . Thank you for the kind words! Music is a labor of love for me.... regarding the lyrics in the last song, for my female friends, the common theme among the guys in their lives is that guys tend not to listen to what the girl is saying, I mean they listen, but at the same time they're not listening, like when the girl asks the guy what she just said, he can't remember what she said, that seems to be very common....
