i used to have a mini mullet that was less layered and stuff

but after it grew out it looked bad so i chopped off alot of my hair by myself

and now its shoulder length and it looks okay but im looking for a mullet inspired shorter look too

i think i should just thin out the bottom and layer it more but any tips on how i should make it look more like a mullet?

is it possible to cut the mullet hair myself? i ve cut my hair a few times before by myself and it was okay....but i wanted to learn how to cut the mullet...so could anyone try to describe it to me....

like i do just cut many layers on the top...and not touch my bottom layer? or is there any tutorials out there that shows/teaches how to cut an asian mullet? if there is could u give me the link thx!

Well when I cut mine, what I did was tie up layers of my hair and go crazy with a pair of thinning shears.

Like, I'd tie up the top parts of my hair first and just leave the long bottom layers and think that out.

Then, I'd tie up the bottom layer and do a bottom side ponytail with it.

Then let another layer from the previously tied up top layers.

And just keep adding to that side ponytail after each layer is cut.

Haha I don't know if that makes any sense at all...

Well I used to have a mullet cut, then I grew it out, and then I cut it again recently.

Here's a recent picture of it! You can't really tell since my hair was sort of dying after school that day and the angle's bad, but whatever~

I currently want my hair about 4 inches longer than it is right now.
