@Tuiwgn  ohhh............thanks for the info..... On his personal Instagram, Lee Jun Ki regularly updates his journey to Vietnam and shows his interest of the beautiful scenery in that country with a caption - “Happy to see you, Vietnam”, “Beautiful moon from beautiful Viet Nam”…. He showed off a series of photos and enjoying local cuisine. It looks like he was walking around Hoi An’s old town and sitting on a boat on the Hoai River.   :7555_attack:

*** As leading actors and actresses need to be safe and healthy for the entire film or series, it’s a common thing to use a double in the acting world. However, several prominent stars are so dedicated, they opt to perform dangerous and hurtful stunts themselves, despite the risk of injuries. LJK is one prime examples when it comes to this practice. He is perhaps one of the bravest Korean actors there are, seeing that he has never hesitated when it comes to difficult stunts. In “Two Weeks” he has flaunted countless dangerous stunts, including one where he was fully buried under dirt and rock. While

Lee Jun Ki himself was worried about the risk of this scene, he still decided to do it himself.  :popcornjackson:

Sometimes, the endgame brings us an immense amount of heartache, bittersweetness, and longing for more. Here are seven K-dramas where fans have expressed that the ending was too much to handle emotionally and are still reeling from the effects of it.

Hae Soo (IU) is transported from modern times to the Goryeo era where she falls in love with a bad boy prince. The love story of Wang So (Lee Joon Gi) and Hae Soo is so heart-rending and bittersweet. The two have an undying love for each other that is constantly broken apart by duty and responsibility.

It’s been six years since “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” has aired, and fans continue to be emotional over the ending of this series. There seemed to be no break when it came to the love between Hae Soo and Wang So. There was hope that the two would somehow find a way to be together, but the finale left viewers heartbroken. dummy.jpeg?s=900x600&e=t

Being sexy can be defined on so many different levels. Confidence, passion, being considerate and kind – it really does take a lot. All of the actors on this list have exuded exactly what it takes to be considered sexy, and it’s only halfway through the year! Here are 17 of them.

Disclaimer: List focuses on main male leads and not secondary actors. Also, list is in no particular order!

9. Lee Joon Gi

There is something magnetically charming about Lee Joon Gi whenever he stars in a series. He has the ability to pull his viewers in, making them engaged and emotionally invested in his role and the storyline. His role as Kim Hee Woo in “Again My Life” is no different. Lee Joon Gi always slays in the mystery/action type K-dramas, as the stories and his acting are bound to keep viewers on the edges of their seats. His convincing acting skills and ability to pull off both casual and formal attire are absolutely perfection.

*** LJK posted a photo on his Instagram story with the caption, 'SUNDAY'.  In the photo, he is wearing a white T-shirt and taking a selfie.  He is showing off his youthful appearance. I remember during press conference of "Again My Life", he said, "There is no big secret, but be careful not to stress over small things, laugh, have fun, and be happy. Also, I've been eating red ginseng for the past 7 years".    :rainbow:

7 Older K-Dramas To Watch If You’re Going Through A Drama Drought

One of the best things to do when you can’t find any K-dramas that really suck you in is to go back and watch some oldies. Although a lot of older K-dramas might seem dated, it often just takes an episode or two to really suck you in. The emotional depth and character development of a lot of older K-dramas have really stood the test of time. Here are seven of those K-dramas that are worth watching.

1. “My Girl”

my-girl.jpeg

“My Girl” tells the story of Sol Gong Chan (Lee Dong Wook), a typical rich boy who meets a girl named Joo Yoo Rin (Lee Da Hae). The two sign a contract to pretend to be long-lost relatives in order for Gong Chan to inherit his dying grandfather’s fortune. Gong Chan is a bit of jerk and couldn’t care less for Yoo Rin, but he ends up falling for her. And rounding out this love triangle is a playboy named Seo Jung Woo (Lee Joon Gi).

One of the highlights of this series is seeing the evolving romantic relationship between Gong Chan and Yoo Rin. Their adorable chemistry is one that people still talk about today. Lee Joon Gi’s role as Seo Jung Woo also garnered a lot of love as he was the second lead whose heart was on the line as he fell harder for Yoo Rin. It’s a sweet romantic comedy that is light-hearted enough to binge watch and is guaranteed to make you love the cast.

3. “Time Between Dog And Wolf”

time-between-dog-and-wolf.jpeg

Lee Soo Hyun (Lee Joon Gi) is adopted after his mother is tragically killed. He grows up with Kang Min Ki (Jung Kyung Ho), and the two are like brothers. They both become NIS members, which is when Soo Hyun is triggered by the memory of his mother being killed. He fakes his own death and creates a new identity in order to get revenge.

Lee Joon Gi refers to this particular project as being the work that was a huge turning point in his acting career. The PD for this series, Kim Jin Min, also worked with Lee Joon Gi again for the series “Lawless Lawyer” many years later.

The two are an impeccable team, as they are able to provide a dramatic storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The action scenes and emotional storyline will have you completely emotionally invested from beginning to end – guaranteed to binge watch!

The series starts when a solar eclipse occurs, a 25-year-old 21st-century woman, Go Ha Jin (IU), is transported back in time to the Goryeo Dynasty. She wakes up in the year of 941, in the body of Hae Soo, among the many princes of the ruling Wang family, during the reign of King Taejo. She initially falls in love with the gentle and warm-hearted 8th Prince Wang Wook (Kang Ha Neul), but later develops a relationship with Wang So (Lee Joon Gi), the fearsome 4th Prince, who hides his face behind a mask and is given the derogatory label of ‘wolf-dog’. 2 years of Flower of Evil: Why the Lee Joon Gi, Moon Chae Won starrer is a K-drama classic

Crime, romance and mystery, it’s a perfect combo!

flower_of_evil_main.jpg?width=752&format

Lee Joon Gi as Baek Hee Sung / Do Hyun Soo is the perfect man of the family- loving husband to his wife, doting father to his 6 year old, an artist and a stunner. But his past holds painful memories from his childhood. ‘Flower of Evil’ began 2 years ago today, as the comeback to the small screen for actor Lee Joon Gi who has explored his acting prowess over the years.

The drama channels through the story of a man who hides his identity in order to protect the serious scars left by his father. His seemingly perfect family is at the verge of a breakdown when his detective wife, Cha Ji-won (played by Moon Chae Won), begins to uncover the truth behind a series of murders that ultimately trace back to him.

‘Flower of Evil’ is the twisty, turny, ball of yarn that does not end and keeps presenting you with new surprises and horrific but marvelous change of events that will have you reeling with confusion and awe at the same time. It questions the trust between a couple, teeters on the edges of psychological trauma and mental pain, all while keeping you on the edge of your seat, making you question how soon will the truth be revealed.

You long to catch the culprit and hope against all odds that it’s not Lee Joon Gi’s character. You loathe him from being far from perfect; however accept him for being a lost soul with no direction. The K-drama is an applause-worthy amalgamation of love, suffering, thrill and shock, blended to give you a rollercoaster ride right until the last episode.

Not only is it a perfect watch to quench your thirst for crime shows, it’s one of the best shows to come out in recent years!

*** Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 to film next year (2023). Good that it's indeed moving forward. It's also reported that Jang Dong Gun is in talks to return. and there's a new news that the production company is also in the process of having seasons 3 & 4 as well. Let's hope that S2 will be well-received. Same as S1, I'm also thrilled with having LJK on S2. I'm a big fan of both.   :cutekitty:

LEE JUN KI + SHIN SE KYUNG JOIN JANG DONG GEON + KIM OK BIN IN ARTHDAL CHRONICLES SEASON 2

Errr… well. I have no clue why tvN keeps barking up this battle- weary tree but we are going to see a second season of fantasy series, Arthdal Chronicles. Lee Jun Ki will replace Song Joong Ki while Shin Se Kyung will do the same for Kim Ji Won. Lee Jun Ki will definitely add some intensity and charisma to the role so that’s good, I guess. At least Jang Dong Geon and Kim Ok Bin are reprising their roles, which is the best news since they were the main reason why the first season was spicy and fun at some points. Filming will kick-start this month.

*** "Arthdal Chronicles" was originally planned to be a series of dramas with future seasons in mind, and it also expressed its plan for a season 2 right after the end of season 1. According to the wishes of the production team and viewers, the production of season 2 in 2020 has been confirmed, but the schedule has been postponed due to COVID-19. In the process, there was a change in the cast. Song Joongki and Kim Jiwon decided not to do their roles in season 2. As a result, Lee Junki and Shin Sekyung will newly join to lead season 2. Jang Donggun as Tagon and Kim Okbin as Tae Alha will appear again as their role in season 1.   :loveu:
