    Actors Jeon Ji-hyeon and Park Shin-hye donated 100 million won and 50 million won, respectively, to recover from wildfire damage in Gyeongbuk and Gangwon.

More stars have donated to help the victims of the ongoing wildfire on the eastern coast of Korea.

On Friday, March 4, a large wildfire broke out on a mountain near the seaside town of Uljin in North Gyeongsang Province. It spread to the nearby city of Samcheok in Gangwon Province and has continued to spread to other eastern coastal cities like Donghae and Gangneung.

 

On March 9, the Hope Bridge Association of the National Disaster Relief shared that Park Shin Hye had donated 50 million won for the support and recovery of the victims of the wildfire. Park Shin Hye had previously donated to disaster relief in cases like the 2019 Gangwon Province wildfire and the 2020 local flooding.

On March 10, the Korean Red Cross shared that trot singer Young Tak had donated 100 million won two days earlier to support the neighborhoods affected by the wildfire in Gangwon and North Gyeongsang Province. Young Tak has a previous history of working with the Red Cross, having volunteered to give blood in December during the surge in COVID-19 cases.

Also on March 10, the Hope Bridge Association announced that Jun Ji Hyun had donated 100 million won to the victims of the wildfire as well. She had previously donated in 2020 to help people recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

More celebrities have donated to aid victims of the burning wildfire on Korea's eastern coast.

 

A big wildfire broke out on a mountain near the beach town of Uljin in North Gyeongsang Province on Friday, March 4. It then spread to the nearby city of Samcheok in Gangwon Province, and then to other eastern coastal cities like as Donghae and Gangneung.

 

BTS' Suga, Shin Min Ah, Hyun Bin, Son Ye Jin, Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Hye Soo, IU, Kim Go Eun, Lee Byung Hun, Song Kang Ho, and many others have previously donated to the cause.

 

Park Shin Hye gave 50 million won for the support and recovery of the wildfire victims, according to the Hope Bridge Association of the National Disaster Relief on March 9. Park Shin Hye had previously donated to disaster assistance in the past, such as the wildfires in Gangwon Province in 2019 and the local flooding in 2020.
