Hi chingus, I just wonder our Shin Hye has been nominated for Best Actress category TV (Drama series). Is that decision from fan voting or from Baeksang critic people? Please help me clarify this. Many thanks

Hello @louminousalex... I see no one has replied to you yet. The baeksang assign a committee to choose the candidates for best actors/best actress in all categories. Even the candidates for the popularity award are chosen by these people. Fans don't vote for the best actor/best actress category. Fans are only allowed to vote for the popularity votes and that votes are charged a certain amount as what our other chinggus has explained before in the previous threads.

It is only the Hallyu award which is free but is so full of controversies so far because one can create many accounts to vote. One concern is that why in only a matter of hours when Shin Hye garnered thousand of more votes, Krystal (who is SH bff btw) garnered millions more of votes which is impossible under normal circumstances. And many are dubious if this is indeed a legit poll which they say will be awarded at the baeksang.I remeber the same happened last year for the Godess award. I also remember the sagaegi controversy in K-Pop. But still as this is free, I encourage everyone to still cast our votes.
