SBS’s “Good Partner” has highlighted three key relationships between the drama’s characters that viewers should pay close attention to!

Written by an actual divorce attorney, “Good Partner” is a new drama that depicts the humorous struggles of two very different divorce lawyers: Cha Eun Kyung (Jang Nara), a star lawyer for whom divorce is her calling, and Han Yu Ri (Nam Ji Hyun), a rookie lawyer who is still new to divorce.

There’s something about Jang Nara’s character that is not consistent with her being a super duper divorce lawyer. How could she be surprised by CSR’s reaction? She has dealt with many divorce cases, she knew the woman for ten years, yet she can’t predict the mistress’ reaction? 

 

I have said it before, she seems to want to lose the case.

After three weeks of postponement, new episodes of Good Partner will premiere this week.

On August 15, SBS confirmed the broadcast resume for the law K-drama Good Partner. The K-drama aired its five episodes until the broadcast went on hiatus due to the airing of the Paris Olympics. The first five episodes received decent ratings and reviews and attention is focused on whether they can regain and attract more viewers after a long hiatus. 

Good Partner showcases the daily life and struggles of divorce lawyers. It focuses on the veteran divorce lawyer Cha Eun Kyung and rookie divorce lawyer Han Yoo Ri working at the Law Firm Daejung. 

The K-drama is being led by  Jang Na Ra, Nam Ji Hyun, Kim Joon Han, BLOCK B's P.O., Ji Seung Hyun, and Han Jae Yi. 

Director Kim Ga Ram (Nevertheless and Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency) and writer Choi Yoo Na are working together to create the series. 

The sixth episode of Good Partner will premiere on August 16 at 10 PM KST. The K-drama can be viewed through SBS and streaming platforms Viki and Wavve. 

SBS released new still cuts for the upcoming episode. 

In the sixth episode, the K-drama will showcase the fierce court battle between Cha Eun Kyung and her husband, Kim Ji Sang. Cha Eun Kyung will work with Han Yu Ri, while her husband will be defended by divorce attorney Kang Sang Joo.

In photos released, Cha Eun Kyung and her husband's mistress, Choi Sa Ra, were seen face to face. Choi Sa Ra appears to be without guilt and shows no remorse for her infidelity.

The production team of the K-drama shared, "In the upcoming episode, Cha Eun Kyung and Kim Ji Sang will be engaged in a fierce battle for the custody of their daughter, Kim Jae Hee. CSR is at the losing end because she’s just a stop gap measure for him and he had made it crystal clear. He might marry her but it wouldn’t stop him from moving out again.
