Male Actors Who Revealed They Like Women Who Eat Well

What's your ideal type?

For some, it's someone they can relate easily to. For others, it's just straight up someone they are attracted to. And for others, including some K-Pop celebrities, it's people who eat well.

Sound a bit strange? No, not at all really. People who eat well are desirable because they'll most likely be quite healthy and also you can join in with them and go on eating sprees.

Below are four South Korean actors who have revealed that they like women who eat well.

The 8 Best K-Drama Couples Of 2020

One detail that can make or break a K-drama is the lead couple. Sometimes, no matter how out-of-this-world a plot can be, the leading actors just don’t have that it factor together. Luckily, 2020 did not disappoint and offered several iconic couples. In no particular order, here are the K-drama couples that enchanted our hearts this year.

Lee Dong Wook & Jo Bo Ah in “Tale of the Nine-Tailed

Last but certainly not least is Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah in “Tale of the Nine-Tailed.” This end-of-the-year drama packs a punch. Mixed with fantasy, action, thriller, and romance, the drama follows the tale of a male gumiho named Lee Yeon (Lee Dong Wook) and a producer named Nam Ji Ah, (Jo Bo Ah) who seeks Lee Yeon out after recognizing him as the person who saved her life when she was younger. Their romance is both fantastical and fated but they must fight to keep it alive as they become entangled in a battle with an Imoogi (Lee Tae Ri).

Their romance is nothing short of epic — which is expected given the genre of the drama. From dramatic umbrella scenes and swoon-worthy romantic lines, Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah’s chemistry oozes off the screen. They’re absolutely electrifying and are the perfect couple to finish out this year with.

8 Iconic K-Drama Bromances That We Love

best-k-drama-bromances-1609237673.jpg

Two words: Friendship goals!

K-dramas never fail to give us the kilig—but another thing we love about them is that they also introduce to us some of the best friendships: from bestfriends, barkadas, and bromances.

Whether they start out as rivals or were BFFs from the beginning, we love seeing bromances in our fave dramas. Below is a list of our favorite male K-drama friendships/bromances:

4. Kim Shin and Wang Yeo in Goblin

We can't list down the best bromances in K-drama land without mentioning the Goblin (Gong Yoo) and Grim Reaper's (Lee Dong Wook) supernatural friendship! Their hilarious ~fights~ left us giggling hard, but they also never disappointed in warming our hearts.

21 K-Drama Superlatives From 2020

Many things have been up in the air this year. (And no that’s not an airborne virus joke). Travels, studies, work, leisure, relationships, etc. have all been impacted one way or another. But there’s one thing that remains constant and that’s K-dramas. And with that, here is our annual superlative roundup.

Despite the particularly difficult year, we can still find the silver lining and be thankful that we’ve at least had a strong showing in K-dramas to help us get through our stuck-at-home days. We’ve seen plenty of fantasy, sci-fi, and even makjang dramas, though there does seem to be less sageuks this year. Cable channels in particular have gifted us with well-written, well-produced, and well-cast dramas.

To honor the dramas that have accompanied and provided us with healing or have just been a form of escapism, I give you, in no particular order, 2020’s superlatives.

Now before you get up in arms about not seeing your favorite drama, please note that this is not a list of the best dramas of 2020, but rather a fun, silly way to take a stroll down memory lane. So feel free to head down to the comments section and nominate superlatives for all the other deserving dramas!

Disclaimer: This article only includes dramas that premiered between December 1, 2019, and November 30, 2020. Also, minor spoilers ahead!

Most likely to draw you into a controversial debate

“Tale of the Nine-Tailed”

Tale-of-the-nine-tailed1-540x360.jpeg

Aired on: tvN
Air date: October 7 – December 3, 2020 (16 episodes)
Starring: Lee Dong Wook, Jo Bo Ah, Kim Bum, Hwang Hee, Kim Yong Ji, Lee Tae Ri

The debate here isn’t about the motivations of the antagonist, The Imoogi/Terry (Lee Tae Ri), or about how the epic, folktale-centered storyline may or may not have (slightly) unraveled in final episodes, or even about whether you’re more interested in the Yeon-Ji Ah romance or the Yeon-Rang bromance.

No, the truly controversial debate here is to do with nine-tailed fox brothers’ preferences towards mint chocolate ice cream. And as much as I love Rang (Kim Bum) — and let’s face it: Rang’s character arc is arguably the more superior — I am firmly on team Yeon (Lee Dong Wook) and team mint chocolate here. (Where are all my #MintChocLovers at?).

*** It's just so CUTE & NICE that even after the drama’s end, the friendship between the “Tale of the Nine-Tailed” stars is still going strong! Kim Bum took to Instagram to reveal that his former co-stars Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah had thoughtfully sent a coffee truck to the set of his upcoming JTBC drama “Law School”.  Sharing several photos of himself posing happily in front of the truck, he posted a string of laughing emojis with a caption, “The hyung and the human I miss dearly. For the first time in a long while."  The banner at the top of the coffee truck reads, “Congratulations to Han Joon Hwi [Kim Bum’s character] for being admitted to Hanguk University Law School at the top of his class.”  Another banner decorated with a photo of Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah refers to Kim Bum by the name of his character from “Tale of the Nine-Tailed,” Lee Rang. The banner jokingly instructs Kim Bum, “Rang! Enjoy [the coffee], and don’t make trouble there!” before asking the rest of the cast and crew, “Please take good care of our Sangbum [Kim Bum’s given name]. Find strength, everyone on the ‘Law School’ team! From Jo Bo Ah and Lee Dong Wook.”  A third banner next to the truck reads, “We’re cheering on the drama ‘Law School’ and actor Kim Bum’s character Joon Hwi. Good luck to our baby fox Kim Bum!”‘   :nomeme:   They are so sweet and I love that their friendship still stands. "Baby fox" - hahaha -

*** Jo Bo Ah sent Lee Dong Wook a sweet gift on set of his upcoming movie “Single in Seoul”! He thanked her for this. TODAY, January 12 he posted photos of him posing in front of a coffee truck with a caption - “Thank you, Bbo. (feat. Lee Dong Wook user manual). As expected, you know me so well.” The coffee truck has a banner that reads, “Oppa, drink this and gain strength! To all the staff of ‘Single in Seoul,’ please film safely. Hwaiting, I’m cheering you on! From Jo Bo Ah.”  The banner next to the coffee truck also includes a “user manual” about Lee Dong Wook that reads, “Dong Wook oppa might sometimes get irritated, whiny, or say weird things, but it’s all because he’s affectionate and wants to get closer to you. Please don’t be taken aback, and just endure it 10 times. You can become close friends.”  :twerk2:
