MBC’s “A Good Day to Be a Dog” has unveiled chilling stills featuring Cha Eun Woo and Lee Hyun Woo’s conflict!

Based on a webtoon, “A Good Day to Be a Dog” is a fantasy romance drama about Han Hae Na (Park Gyu Young), a woman who is cursed to transform into dogs when she kisses a man. However, the only person who can undo her curse is her colleague Jin Seo Won (ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo), who is afraid of dogs due to a traumatic event he can no longer remember.

Spoilers

Previously, the ill-fated relationships between Seo Won, Hae Na, Bo Kyum (Lee Hyun Woo), and Cho Young (Kim Yi Kyung) in their past lives were revealed. Mountain God Bo Kyum was in great grief when Cho Young, the only person whom he gave his heart to, was killed by the sword that Soo Hyun (Seo Won’s past life) wielded in his previous life. Bo Kyum vowed to avenge the death of his love and started making his moves against Seo Won and his love Hae Na in the current life.

Amidst this situation, the newly released stills capture Seo Won and Bo Kyum in a state of extreme tension where the conflict between the two explodes. Seo Won visits Bo Kyum, who continues to hover by Hae Na’s side, and gazes at him with sharp eyes. Bo Kyum gazes back at him with an ice-cold facial expression.

Spoilers

Previously, it was revealed how Bo Kyum (Lee Hyun Woo) placed a curse on Hae Na’s family. After the reveal, Bo Kyum gave Hae Na the choice of undoing the longtime curse on her family or protecting her love with Seo Won. Sitting behind Hae Na and Bo Kyum, Seo Won’s attention is focused completely on the couple, not paying attention to the movie in the slightest and angrily biting his straw with a burning gaze.

Furthermore, as if seeming to be aware that Seo Won is following them around, Bo Kyum gazes lovingly at Hae Na and acts affectionately toward her, making Seo Won feel even more jealous.

I feel like I am striking out with the dramas based on webtoons. The structure of this one was really weird overall (but so is the webtoon?) The last episode ended up basically just a recap after a year's time jump. ??

Second drama ending in a row that leaves me just scratching my head. Not a sad ending, but ???
