Jung Kyung Ho to Lead a New K-drama Written by "D.P" Author, Kim Bo Tong

Jung Kyung Ho will reportedly work with scriptwriter Kim Bo Tong and director Im Soon Rye for a new K-drama.

According to media outlets on August 23rd, Jung Kyung Ho was chosen to lead the upcoming K-drama Labourer Noh Moo Jin. He will work with director Im Soon Rye (The Point Men, Little Forest, and The Whistleblower) and writer Kim Bo Tong (D.P. and The King of the Desert).

Jung Kyung Ho's agency Management Allum confirmed that the actor is confirmed to star in the upcoming K-drama Labourer Noh Moo Jin. 

The agency also shared that the filming of the K-drama will begin early next year. 

Jung Kyung Ho will play the primary lead role named Noh Moo Jin. According to reports, fans can expect another new acting transformation from Jung Kyung Ho through this upcoming K-drama. 

There are no reports yet on the actors that will join Jung Kyung Ho in the upcoming K-drama. 

 

 

This will be the follow-up K-drama project of Jung Kyung Ho after the successful 2023 series Crash Course in Romance. He worked alongside Jeon Do Yeon, Lee Bong Ryun, Oh Eui Shik, Shin Jae Ha, and Roh Yoon Seo. 

Jung Kyung Ho also recently wrapped up filming for his upcoming movie Boss together with Jo Woo Jin, Park Ji Hwan, Lee Kyu Hyung, and Oh Dal Soo. 

The actor is currently taking a break and preparing for his next project.

Jung Kyung Ho will be starring in an exciting new drama!

On August 23, JTBC reported that Jung Kyung Ho had received an offer to star in the upcoming drama “Labor Attorney Noh Moo Jin” (literal title) and is positively considering the offer.

In response to the report, Jung Kyung Ho’s agency Management Allum confirmed, “Jung Kyung Ho will star in the new series ‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo Jin.’ The show is currently in the preparation phase, and filming is expected to begin in early next year.”

“Labor Attorney Noh Moo Jin” is a new project by writer Kim Bo Tong of the hit series “D.P.” In the upcoming drama, Jung Kyung Ho will portray the titular character Noh Moo Jin, and the storyline will revolve around the diverse experiences of Noh Moo Jin’s life as a labor attorney.

Seol In Ah is in discussion to work with Jung Kyung Ho in the upcoming K-drama Labourer Noh Moo Jin. 

According to an exclusive report from media outlet YTN News on January 8, Seol In Ah has been chosen as the female lead of the upcoming K-drama Labourer Noh Moo Jin. She will work alongside Jung Kyung Ho, who got the first offer, to star in the series. Seol In Ah's side has yet to confirm the casting news. 

Labourer Noh Moo Jin is the first K-drama project of director Im Soon Rye, who is known for creating the films The Point Men, Little Forest, The Whistleblower, and more. The script will be penned by Kim Bo Tong (D.P. and The King of the Desert). Brocolli Pictures will produce the upcoming K-drama. 

Jung Kyung Ho got the offer to portray the main role of Noh Moo Jin. Seol In Ah's character hasn't been revealed. Through the title, the K-drama is expected to showcase the stories about conflicts occurring in various workplaces. 

There is no official confirmation yet on the release date and broadcast channel of the upcoming K-drama Labourer Noh Moo Jin. 

 

 

If Seol In Ah confirms her casting, this will be her first K-drama project for 2024. 

Last year, Seol In Ah was busy with various activities. She starred in three K-dramas and one film. She also guested on The Seasons: Jay Park's Drive. 

Seol In Ah led the K-dramas Oasis and Twinkling Watermelon. She also made a special appearance in the hit Netflix original K-drama Celebrity. She was also part of the romantic comedy film Love My Scent with Yoon Shi Yoon, Steve Noh, Moon Ji In, Lee Gyu Bok, and Kim Young Woong.

On May 14, Xportsnews reported that Cha Hak Yeon is positively in talks to star in the new drama “Labor Attorney Noh Moo Jin” (literal title).

In response to the report, a source from Cha Hak Yeon’s agency revealed, “He received an offer to star in ‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo Jin,’ and he is reviewing the offer.” Cha Hak Yeon has reportedly been offered the role of YouTuber Gyeon Woo who was once a reporter.

Cha Hak Yeon or VIXX’s N is reportedly in discussions to join a new drama alongside Jung Kyung Ho and Seol In Ah. According to a media report Cha Hak Yeon is considering a role in the upcoming drama Labor Attorney Noh Moo Jin (literal title). 

Penned by writer Kim Bo Tong, known for the acclaimed D.P. series, and directed by Yim Soon Rye, renowned for works like Little Forest and The Point Men, this drama promises to be an exciting project.

 

On May 14, media outlet Xportsnews revealed that Cha Hak Yeon is in discussions to take on a role in the upcoming drama Labor Attorney Noh Moo Jin (literal title). Cha Hak Yeon's agency, 51k, stated to Newsen on May 14, "He has received an offer to appear in Labourer Noh Moo Jin and is currently reviewing it."  

Labourer Noh Moo Jin is a drama centered around a labor attorney. It deals with various conflicts and relationships in work environments.

Anticipation runs high as the star cast comes together for this law drama. Jung Kyung Ho is known for his roles in Crash Course in Romance and Hospital Playlist. Sol In Ha has impressed in hit dramas like Business Proposal and Twinkling Watermelon. 

According to reports by a South Korean media outlet released on May 17, Labourer Noh Moo Jin will start filming in September 2024. Actors Jung Kyung Ho, Seol In Ah, and Cha Hak Yeon will be leading the upcoming drama. The series has been confirmed to be broadcast on MBC. It is expected to premiere in the second half of 2025.

A representative of MBC shared, “‘Labor Attorney Noh Moo Jin’ deals with a rather heavy topic of labor issues, but it will be made into a very pleasant and refreshing story by adding comedy and fantasy [elements]. After recently starring as an instructor and doctor, Jung Kyung Ho will take on a new challenge and portray the role of a lawyer in Labourer Noh Moo Jin. 

On May 22, it was officially confirmed that actor Jung Kyung Ho will lead the upcoming MBC K-drama Labourer Noh Moo Jin. He will portray the role of labor lawyer Noh Moo Jin who can see ghosts and help their problems. 

Labourer Noh Moo Jin is a fantasy comedy K-drama that revolves around a lawyer who helps solve the labor problems of ghosts. 

The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of director Im Soon Rye, who is known for creating the films The Point Men, Little Forest, and The Whistleblower, and writer Kim Bo Tong (D.P. and The King of the Desert). 

Aside from Jung Kyung Ho, Seol In Ah and VIXX's Cha Hak Yeon will also reportedly join the upcoming K-drama. 

Labourer Noh Moo Jin will be part of the Friday and Saturday K-drama timeslot of MBC and it will officially premiere in 2025.
