Considering how the show received a strong response, it is most likely that it will hit double-digit ratings soon. 

Behind Your Touch takes place in the idyllic and crime-free rural village of Mujin. It follows the story of a hardworking veterinarian named Bong Ye Bun (Han Ji Min), who unexpectedly develops psychometric abilities, allowing her to see the past of both animals and humans. When a passionate detective from Seoul, named Jang Yeol (Lee Min Ki), comes to the village, he meets Ye Bun and comes to know of her unique abilities. Together, they embark on a hilarious journey of solving peculiar cases.

JTBC’s “Behind Your Touch” has unveiled new stills ahead of the upcoming episode!

 

“Behind Your Touch” is a comedy investigative drama about a diligent yet busybody veterinarian Bong Ye Boon (Han Ji Min) who somehow gains psychometric abilities to be able to see the past of both people and animals in Mujin, a small rural village free of crime, and the ambitious elite detective Moon Jang Yeol (Lee Min Ki) who needs her abilities to return to the criminal investigation team in Seoul. EXO’s Suho also stars as Kim Seon Woo, who suddenly comes down to the village of Mujin one day and starts working as a part-timer.

Previously, Bong Ye Boon headed out alone to save the kidnapped BJ (broadcasting jockey) Sia and became swept up in a dangerous situation. Although Moon Jang Yeol didn’t believe in Bong Ye Boon’s psychometric abilities, he still went to help her instead of going to arrest those at the drug scene. Moon Jang Yeol saved Bong Ye Boon and Sia, and in the process, he came to completely believe in Bong Ye Boon’s psychometric abilities.

 

The newly released stills show how Bong Ye Boon and Moon Jang Yeol’s relationship has changed. In the photos, Moon Jang Yeol looks after Bong Ye Boon’s hand, which is what allows her to use her psychometric abilities, with extreme care. Furthermore, instead of shrinking away from Moon Jang Yeol, Bong Ye Boon appears greatly confident now, highlighting the reversal in their positions. In particular, a still of Moon Jang Yeol making intense eye contact with Bong Ye Boon with his hand around her head raises questions about what changes have occurred to their relationship.

 

 

More stills depict Bong Ye Boon heading toward somewhere under Moon Jang Yeol’s tight surveillance, raising anticipation for their cooperation.

Our psychic vet discovers a gruesome crime, and unable to ignore a person in distress, she sets out to solve it with her new neighbor’s help. However, her powers alienate her further and her pervert title destroys her credibility. Still, our psychic vet chooses to believe that the fish-out-of-water detective hides a heart of gold under his prickly exterior, and if anyone will trust her crazy claims, it’s him.

Ever since gaining her powers, our reluctant heroine finds herself in a predicament, but as the adage goes, with great power comes great hair loss responsibility. Though no one around her believes in her outlandish tale of butt-touching psychometry (especially not our case-obsessed cop), Ye-boon cannot stand by while knowing the truth, so once she realizes that her underclassman is a criminal, she takes matters into her own hands.

Of course, a neighborhood vet has no business solving crimes, and Ye-boon’s first attempt to bust into her underclassman’s house ends up with her touching someone else’s butt… Ok-hee’s boyfriend to be exact. Unfortunately, Ye-boon sees another woman in his memories and warns her friend to double-check.

In the meantime, Ye-boon returns to her underclassman’s place, and with the help of some cats, she learns the door passcode and enters his house to find the missing streamer. However, her search gets cut short when the underclassman comes home earlier than expected, and Ye-boon escapes by the skin of her teeth — or in this case, her butt.

On the 26th, the JTBC weekend drama Behind Your Touch (directed by  Kim Seok Yoon and Choi Bo Yoon, written by Lee Nam Gyu, Oh Bo Hyun, and Kim Da Hee) revealed that Bong Ye Bun (Han Ji Min) and Moon Jang Yeol (Lee Min Ki) encountered a dangerous scene where someone has been kidnapped. With the ability to see the past and Moon Jang Yeol's detective instincts, tension heightens as they grapple with what is unfolding.

Previously, Bong Ye Bun discovered that the quality of psychometry videos improves when she manages her emotions. With this upgraded psychometry, their joint investigation gained momentum. However, a shocking incident disrupts their peace in Mujin. First, Broadcast Jockey Si A (Choi Hee Jin) is kidnapped, followed by the revelation that Bong Ye Bun's grandfather, Jung Eui Hwan (Yang Jae Sung), has stolen the list of donors for Cha Joo Man (Lee Seung Joon), intensifying the mystery.

 

 

 

Amidst this, the released photos capture the dire moment when Bong Ye Bun and Moon Jang Yeol are imprisoned and bound. The tense atmosphere is palpable as Bong Ye Bun tries to assess the situation with fear in her eyes, and Moon Jang Yeol gazes with concern. As curiosity mounts about the impending threat, Moon Jang Yeol's determination to fend off the threat and engage in a battle of fury adds to the intrigue. JTBC’s “Behind Your Touch” has dropped new stills ahead of tonight’s broadcast!

“Behind Your Touch” is a comedy investigative drama about a diligent yet busybody veterinarian Bong Ye Bun (Han Ji Min) who somehow gains psychometric abilities to be able to see the past of both people and animals in Mujin, a small rural village free of crime, and the ambitious elite detective Moon Jang Yeol (Lee Min Ki) who needs her abilities to return to the criminal investigation team in Seoul.

The newly released stills depict Bong Ye Bun and Moon Jang Yeol in Seoul. The two appear to be chasing after someone as they stare intently at their target.

Bong Ye Bun, who was dragged along by Moon Jang Yeol without even knowing the reason why, follows along while complaining but still moves according to Moon Jang Yeol’s instructions. Peeking from behind an ATM machine, Bong Ye Bun looks for a chance to use her psychometric abilities. Having taken care of the bad guys with her psychometric abilities in the past, anticipation is high for what role Bong Ye Bun will play in this upcoming episode.

 

The following still depicts the tense confrontation between Moon Jang Yeol and drug dealer Mr. Baek (Kim Byung Hee). Moon Jang Yeol wears a fierce gaze, looking as if he’s prepared to capture Mr, Baek immediately, while Mr. Baek puts on a triumphant smile.

Finally, another still has Bong Ye Bun tense and afraid as Park Seung Gil (Choi Ji Hyuk) grabs on to her in order to question her. Behind Your Touch: Episodes 5-6

There are plenty of cases this week to keep our superpowered vet and detective on their toes. From an abusive owner to an underwear thief, this small seaside town may not be as quiet as once purported. With each culprit they catch and butt they touch, our detective gets one step closer to his goal, but an unforeseen danger lurks around the corner.

 

EPISODES 5-6

 

Assemblyman Cha’s case ends with a police station squabble and a disappointed Jang-yeol. His dreams of returning to Seoul through political connections are dashed away by Ye-boon who recovers the donor list from her grandpa’s room and places it back to its original location. Since nothing was technically stolen, the case is dismissed, and Jang-yeol moves onto his next big break: a string of missing fish finders.

However, before Jang-yeol can use Ye-boon’s powers to find the culprit, she strikes a deal with him to help her solve a case of her own. Recently, Shaman Park Jong-bae saved a puppy buried alive in the mountains, and Ye-boon wants to catch the cruel owner. Using this opportunity to leech off Jang-yeol, she has him “upgrade” her powers (e.g., a manicure, jewelry, and vitamins), and the pampering pays off. They find the owner’s location, and Jang-yeol arrests him after Ye-boon gives him a piece of her mind.

Now that Jang-yeol kept his end of the deal, he expects the same level of dedication from Ye-boon and forces her to learn Arabic in order to figure out the prime suspect’s memory. After a few sleepless nights, she manages to catch a few words, and with Sun-woo’s help (what can’t this man do?) she figures out the motive and passes it along to Jang-yeol.

 

Armed with this new knowledge, Jang-yeol approaches the suspect who turns out to be a pawn within a larger operation, and with Ye-boon’s powers, they find the criminals’ hideout. Unfortunately, Jang-yeol underestimated the size of the organization, and our duo ends up captured and bound. Though Jang-yeol boasts about being trained to escape situations like this, he flounders on the ground hopelessly as the criminals come back to finish them off.

The thieves throw Ye-boon and Jang-yeol into the ocean, and as our heroes sink to their doom, the original suspect jumps in and saves them. Rather than call for backup, Jang-yeol sees red and marches into the criminals’ den to beat them all up. This time, without Ye-boon there to distract him, he makes quick work of the thieves. Afterwards, Jang-yeol arrests the original suspect as well, even though Ye-boon pleads with him to reconsider, and our hardheaded detective sticks by his code that a criminal is a criminal no matter what.
