As much as I'd love for them to have a romantic relationship, I think it's best and healthiest for them to just remain good friends for now.

I can see the two of them being cautious with their feelings and taking things slow. Also, they both have careers that continue to grow and that they certainly prioritize for now. It's okay, because affection and trust are what nurture and cement a healthy relationship, and they have already found it in each other.

Yes. That's what i want to conclude from TKA DVD . They seem off to GOOD FRIEND energy .. Because both still have lots coming esp Rowoon and they both ain't the type to settle down early too .. so i love the CLOSE FRIEND energy they exhibit.

I haven't seen the DVD, but I have seen some comments from those who have, wondering how Rowoon and Eun bin address each other so formally, and treat each other with such caution. Some say it seemed weird and unnatural, like they were trying hard to hide something. I haven't seen the Blu Ray so I can't give an objective point of view.

What do you think about it?

You know how they address and talk to eo in informal way (banmal) during promotion and bts, now they used formal tone. And it's awkward to see. Hahaha. Because they seem too cautious esp Eunbin. But regardless, they still touchy (Rowoon esp) and talking non stop.

Hi everyone. I am so glad I stumbled across this thread. I really needed it. 

 

It still feels so unreal that Park Eun Bin's drama is popular worldwide and that she is now a household name. However, I am no longer enjoying Extraordinary Attorney Woo as much as I could and should. There are a couple of reasons, one being TaeBin's shippers excessiveness. The drama has been perceived by most of them as a romcom which it not really is. Even worse for me is that I cant help but compare the off-screen interaction between RoBin and TaeBin. Eun Bin was definitely much more carefree during TKA's shooting than EAW. I am enjoying all other moments in Woo Young Woo and initially I could stand the cute romantic moments but now that things are starting to get heated, I just fast forward those scenes. Not even that iconic kiss scene was spared. Am I the only RoBin shipper/stan feeling this way?

 

I have also been really bothered about the weekly actors ranking where Tae Oh has now been number 1 for the past three weeks... limiting Eun Bin to the second or even third position even though she's practically carrying the show with her top-tier acting skills. Admittedly, that's not his fault but the impact of hormone-raging fans girls but I still feel so disappointed. This was Eun Bin's time to shine and yes she really is shinning but it's so wrong to have her co-actor as #1 just because he is making people's hearts flutter. Her role was hard and it could have come with huge backlash if she hadn't been able to portray her character so well. But it seems all people really notice now is "green flag" acting. 

 

I just had to pour out my heart here. I hope I didn't hurt anyone with my thoughts. And no, I am not trying to undermine anyone it's just that having been following Eun Bin since Father I'll Take Care of You days, I still can't understand why people were sleeping on her range until now... meanwhile she's sharing that spotlight with him when the drama could go without romance.

You are not alone. I am contemplating not continuing with the rest of the drama after the last episode. I feel sick in the stomach with all the focus on the romance and the excessive hype around it. 
 

Regarding the Top Most Buzzworthy Actor Rankings, like you pointed out, it’s probably the result of young, female hormonal fans. 
 

The ranking that really matters is the July top brand value rankings (tabulated by the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation) where Park Eun Bin came up top, beating both the popular footballer (Son Heung Min) and the national skater (Kim Yuna). She is so far ahead of her next competitor that it’s freaking awesome! Her co-star in EAW only rank number 10 in this. This ranking is probably more credible, objective and reputable than the other one. So no worries there. Chin up!

I see where you're coming from and I agree with you to some extent.  I, too, was disappointed to see KTO coming first place in the most buzzworthy ranking.  However, PEB came in first place in the Star Brand Reputation Index July 2022 while KTO came in tenth and the gap is huge!  PEB got 12,087,763 points while KTO got 3,834,429.  This Star Brand Reputation ranking includes all celebrities (actors, idols, athletes, etc).

 

I personally love Rowoon and PEB together and I still have hope that they will maintain some kind of a relationship either as close friends or something more.  I don't think it's fair to compare KTO to Rowoon.  First, we don't see many clips of behind the scenes for EAW and KTO seems much shyer than Rowoon.  Second, PEB seems much more serious and burden with this drama due to the character with an autism spectrum disorder and she has long, long lines to remember.

 

We're in this forum as RoBin shippers but we're also a fan of PEB so I'm super excited and proud that she finally gets the recognition that she deserves.

First of all, although I am not the creator of the thread or an administrator, it's always correct to advocate for free expression and safe spaces for it, when these opinions are held with respect, of course. It seems to me that you have expressed a point of view in an honest and respectful way, for which you have my support.

 

I understand, I'm also a Eun Bin fan since Stove League so seeing her take off like this is an event that I greatly celebrate.

I can understand how difficult it can be to navigate a fandom, shipping culture, and how passionate we can get about it.

 

It's a natural behavior for fans who, liking a couple in fiction, decide to take it to real life. I experienced it in the DYLB era with Kim Min Jae. But, I think I speak for all of us interacting in this thread when I say that we don't ship RoBin just because they look cute on screen. It's the moments outside of it that count the most, and as an Eun Bin fan myself, I could tell how happy and relaxed she was with Rowoon around her. For me it was almost unprecedented, because she is not usually like that.

 

I see the behind the scenes of EAW and I definitely think that Eun Bin is totally professional and sets limits again. She seems to get along with Tae Oh, which is important for good on-screen interaction. Maybe it's what helps me see it as just a performance and no more.

 

Popularity polls change from week to week. Sometimes Tae Oh will take first place and sometimes Eun Bin will take it back. It's healthy not to see it as a competition and just be happy that more people in the world recognize the name of Eun Bin Park.

Like we don't want anything outside of this ( be it they end up of couple or good as friend), it just we feel good seeing they are happy the way they are and we embracing the fact that they are comfortable with eo rather than dismiss what have been shown.

Based on my humble opinion without offending anyone, I think the interactions on Instagram is important because this is how actors truly feel toward their co-actors. Just like PEB’s Insta, It’s her personal Instagram, she can choose to post with or without her male lead based on her decision during drama promotions. In TKA era, we can see that she posted a lot of picture with Rowoon even puts their couple photos in front of the post, reply Rowoon’s cmt and cmt on Rowoon’s picture. But in this EAW era that the drama will end in 3 weeks, we not yet see her posting couple pictures with KTO, like & cmt each other posts are not very active. Even KTO cmt on her pic with a long and sweet sentence, I never seen her reply to him. If the drama ends, and we didn’t see PEB posts couple picture with KTO, we can confirm that Rowoon is somehow special to her. 
 

I respect KTO and I am also a fan of him. This is just my opinion based on the reality from what I see.

I am glad I'm not the only one feeling this way. 

 

I have to admit the excessive hype of the drama's romance would not have been so affective for me if it wasn't overshadowing Eun Bin's acting but seeing as it's become the sole topic of discussion, it now gets to me. 
 

Oh yes, I just saw July top brand value rankings and whew, she swept! It's incredible that she beat Son Heung Min, Kim Yuna, IU, and even BTS. Yes, I want to believe this ranking is more objective and reputable.

 

Whatever else, I am just so glad that she is starting to get the recognition she deserves. I know how it feels to watch your peers and juniors get ahead fast while it seems like you are crawling just to progress. Maybe that's why her success now means a lot to me.

I was surprised when I saw the Star Brand Reputation Index... especially because it includes all celebrities and she ranked first! But before, I didn't know that existed, I thought there was only Good Data and RACOI indexes. For years, I have watched this girl give her best and outshine everyone else in her dramas (in terms of portraying her characters), yet she never got the recognition. In fact, she was barely noticed or at least that was what I thought. For instance Rowoon always ranked higher on Good Data's ranking through out The King's Affection's airing period. I just could not fathom it... I mean she's playing THE LEAD role. And during Brahms, it was the same thing. She only managed to rank higher than Kim Min Jae once. I thought history was repeating itself again (and this time much more infuriating because she is playing the titular role.)

 

To be sincere, I am not even trying to compare Rowoon and KTO because the dynamics are different. Even though it was my first time watching both Rowoon and KTO act, I quickly liked how they both portrayed their roles. I didn't even have any issues with TaeBin until I saw her drop to #3 on Good Data's ranking. I am mostly not even concerned with whom she has a loveline with in dramas... As long as heap loads of praises are dumped on her acting, I'm good, Hehe.

This! You voiced my thoughts so well. She seemed genuinely relaxed and comfy with Rowoon during TKA. This would probably seem insignificant until you realise that she's always so guarded and professional around her male co-stars. Heck, her boundaries literally disappeared during TKA with Rowoon but it seems they are back now during EAW. I say this as someone that has scoured through almost all Eun Bin BTS videos that exist. Only her female co-stars ever get to enjoy that much privilege with her.

 

Oh yes, she seems to get along with Tae Oh and that's not surprising since she's always all smiles with everyone on set. A bunny being a bunny. 

 

A healthy competition would be if they are switching positions... She's been #1 only once while he is on his third streak. Will probably get it too next week. And it's not a popularity poll. It's the real analytics on their buzz (comments about them, number of articles, video views etc) during the week.

 

Yep, above all, I am glad she is now well-known.

Thank you, Yong. I agree with you. It really doesn't even matter whether they are together or want to be or not... What is clear is that they are comfortable with each other (even as just friends). The fact that he sent her a coffee truck and then a perfume... That makes me so happy. Also, PEB sought his opinion on her hairstyle for Young Woo. That is huge because it's Park Eun Bin. She rarely does stuff like that. She must value his opinion. I also find it hilararious that she pointed out that she didn't choose short hair for Young Woo just because he said so. That sounded more to me like 'his opinion concerning short hair definitely influenced my decision to go with the short hairstyle." Don't mid me guys. I rarely think straight when she's involved... It's been that way for years.

Oh yes, I noticed this too. Actually, Rowoon is her only male co-star to have had the privilege of appearing on her Instagram multiple time. She'll definitely still post pictures with Kang Tae Oh but it is obvious their relationship is extremely professional.

Hahahahah binjin had 1000+ i think. But pretty good achievement since we just started late last year and ship these day dont even bother to create a forum plus to think that all 41pages are solely our discussion just wow. @PEBunny did you buy blu-ray because that's the whole new kind of dishes being served. Like having king meal. I've never seen PEB that way. Did you seen some spoiled clip on twitter when PEB kinda don't want him to go back just yet as she yet finish her filming and he was like I'll wait behind the monitor. 

 

Also also the tone please. Often time i found PEB speaking tone to Rowoon a combination of cutesy + polite + wanting for attention.. (Making DVD)

About the video that she said the film doesn’t end yet, I was kinda surprised about her voice tone, she speaks very very soft that we never heard before from another videos of her. And also that Photoshoot Clip, she keep laughing when staring at Rowoon’s face to take the poster. I was just like why, why she being like this bcuz we only see her being professional before, but she laughs a lot when looking at Rowoon’s face.

Think about it, she may discuss with her female close friends or her manager but she also expected answer from Rowoon. And if Rowoon’s opinion didn’t matter, she didn’t even bother to ask from the first place. Furthermore, normally people asks for advice or opinions from the person that we think that they are very thoughtful. So to PEB, Rowoon is a thoughtful person. And also in the video, Rowoon claimed that he’s strongly recommended short hair to WYW with the strong tone, it means that he takes it serious when PEB asks him about this thing. And when PEB replied, however she didn’t cut her short bcuz of Rowoon’s said, at that part I think everyone would react the same like her, even in the drama the female lead would react this way. In that situation, she can’t just said yes she cut her hair short bcuz of what Rowoon said.
