“Sweet Home” And “Youth Of May” Co-Stars Lee Do Hyun And Go Min Si To Reunite For Short-Form Drama "Reincarnation Love"

 

Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si are reuniting for a short-form drama!

On December 30, it was announced that the actors will be starring in the short-form drama “Reincarnation Love” (literal title), created by pharmaceutical company HK inno.N.

The time loop romance drama is about Jeon Sang Tae (Lee Do Hyun) who goes on a blind date in place of his friend and meets Kim Hwa Ni (Go Min Si).

The two actors previously played siblings in “Sweet Home” and showcased a heartbreaking love story in “Youth of May.”

In “Reincarnation Love,” Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si will transform into 2021 college students and also pay homage to some scenes from “Youth of May.”

Reincarnation Love” is set to be released on January 3 via HK inno.N’s YouTube channel. A teaser will be revealed on December 30 at 5 p.m. KST.

A teaser has been released for “Reincarnation Love” (literal title)!

Starring Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si, the upcoming short-form drama was created as promotional content for the anti-hangover drink CONDITION.

The teaser asks, “Is there a day you want to turn back?” and shows Jeon Sang Tae (Lee Do Hyun) and Kim Hwa Ni (Go Min Si) meeting for the first time. The clip then gives a glimpse of various comical and sweet interactions between the two.

A phone screen then shows the text, “Would you like to reset your CONDITION and start that day over again?” with options to select “yes” or “no,” as the voiceover says, “Make sure to take good care of your CONDITION, because your fate might change.”

Lee Do Hyun In Talks + Ra Mi Ran To Reportedly Star In New Drama By “Beyond Evil” Director

Lee Do Hyun and Ra Mi Ran may be meeting in a new drama!

 

On August 22, an industry representative reported that Lee Do Hyun has been offered a leading role in the upcoming JTBC drama “Bad Mom” (literal title). In response to the report, the actor’s agency Yuehua Entertainment commented, “Lee Do Hyun received an offer to star in ‘Bad Mom’ and is positively reviewing [the offer].”

 

Directed by Shim Na Yeon of “Beyond Evil” and written by Bae Se Young, “Bad Mom” is a warm and touching comedy drama about Young Soon and her son Kang Ho.

 

Lee Do Hyun has received a casting offer to play Kang Ho, who becomes a prosecutor as his mother wishes but loses his memory one day and becomes like a young child again. Ra Mi Ran will reportedly take on the role of Young Soon, who has become a “bad mom” while trying to do the best for her son.

 

After debuting through “Prison Playbook” in 2017, Lee Do Hyun has gained attention for his acting in dramas including “Hotel Del Luna,” “18 Again,” “Sweet Home,” “Beyond Evil,” “Youth of May,” and “Melancholia.” He recently concluded filming “The Glory” with Song Hye Kyo and has also been cast in a new film with Choi Min Sik and Kim Go Eun.

 

Ra Mi Ran debuted in 2005 via the film “Sympathy For Lady Vengeance” and has since received love for her roles in “Reply 1988,” “Avengers Social Club,” “Miracle That We Met,” “Black Dog,” “Honest Candidate,” and more.

Lee Do Hyun’s agency Yuehua Entertainment announced that the actor’s social media account has been hacked.

 

Previously, numerous strange photos and posts in foreign languages were uploaded on his Instagram account.

 

In response to the incident, Yuehua Entertainment released the following statement:

Hello, this is Yuehua Entertainment Korea.

We would like to inform you about actor Lee Do Hyun’s personal social media account (Instagram) hacking incident.

This morning (August 24), we detected suspicious activities, such as blocking administrator access and deleting posts, on his social media account.

Therefore, we have requested Instagram to respond to the incident and restore the damages, and we are doing our best to resolve this problem as soon as possible.

Until the account is fully restored, all posts and activities related to this account have nothing to do with Lee Do Hyun, so we hope you do not suffer any damages from it.

We apologize for causing concern concern to the fans who support Lee Do Hyun, and we will do our best to repair everything quickly.

Ra Mi Ran, Lee Do Hyun, and Ahn Eun Jin are returning to the small screen for a new drama!
 

JTBC’s “Bad Mom” (literal title) is a healing comedy drama about a woman who has no choice but to take on the role of a “bad mom” and her son who has become a child once again due to an incident. The drama will tell the story of how they try to find happiness once again and is said to have an emotionally moving storyline mixed with light, comedic scenes as well. The drama will be directed by directed by Shim Na Yeon, who worked on “Beyond Evil,” and written by Bae Se Young.

 

Ra Mi Ran will take on the role the tenacious “bad mom” Young Soon who does everything she can to protect her child. Completely alone, she manages a pig farm while raising her son, turning herself into a bad mom in order to shield her son from any pain she has had to go through. Viewers can anticipate a very moving performance from Ra Mi Ran as she portrays a woman who has built up her walls so high to shield herself and her child. Ra Mi Ran commented, “Some great actors and staff have come together and are working hard on this project. It’s a warm drama full of laughter and emotions.”

 

Lee Do Hyun will play Kang Ho, a cold prosecutor who suddenly becomes a child again due to an incident. Not wanting the life his mother Young Soon led, he ran away to chase after success as a prosecutor, turning his back on his mother. But after he becomes a child once again, he gets another chance to live a new life with Young Soon and find the happiness he had been missing before. Lee Do Hyun shared, “I’m so happy and excited to be able to make this great project with such great people. There are many difficult moments, but thanks to the other actors, directors, and writers I’m working with, this will be a challenge that is more exciting than scary.”

 

Lastly, Ahn Eun Jin will play Kang Ho’s long-time friend and sole support system Mi Joo. Mi Joo has a big heart and cannot stand injustice, and she gives her all when it comes to love and honor. She falls on hard times financially, returning to her hometown broke only to once again meet Kang Ho, who has now turned into a child. With this meeting comes big changes for Mi Joo. “The script was so interesting,” Ahn Eun Jin commented. “I really wanted to participate [in this project] as I watched Mi Joo live her life brightly and confidently even in the face of hardships and adversity. I’m so excited to meet you all in ‘Bad Mom.'” She then added, “I was really looking forward to working with director Shim Na Yeon. Thanks to the other actors, we are having fun filming in an enjoyable atmosphere. Please show lots of love and interest.”

“The Good Bad Mother” is a heartwarming new comedy about a woman who must return to her motherly duties after her adult son unexpectedly becomes like a young child again.

 

Ra Mi Ran will star as Young Soon, a single mom who was widowed at a young age and raised her son Kang Ho (Lee Do Hyun) by herself while running a pig farm. Because she didn’t want her son to grow up penniless or powerless, Young Soon chose to become a “bad mother” by constantly being hard on her son and taking the “tough love” approach in raising him.

 

Thanks to Young Soon’s merciless discipline, Kang Ho grows up to become a prominent prosecutor with a cold personality who turns his back on his mother—but when he loses his memory due to an unfortunate accident, he returns home after reverting to his seven-year-old self. For the sake of Kang Ho’s recovery, Young Soon makes up her mind to become a “bad mother” once again.

 

Ahn Eun Jin will also star in the drama as Mi Joo, Kang Ho’s longtime friend and sole support system, who moves back to her hometown due to financial struggles.

“The Glory Part 2” Confirms Release Date + Previews Intensified Battle Ahead

 

“The Glory” is returning with Part 2 soon!

 

First released this past December, “The Glory” is hit writer Kim Eun Sook’s newest project that tells the story of a former victim of brutal school violence who swears revenge on her bullies after becoming the elementary school homeroom teacher of her bully’s kid. Song Hye Kyo stars as the vengeful protagonist Moon Dong Eun, while Lee Do Hyun plays the complicated male lead Joo Yeo Jeong.

 

On January 18, the drama released the first still cuts of Part 2. The images feature Moon Dong Eun with tears in her eyes, Joo Yeo Jeong looking at her with an intense expression, and Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon) making a serious phone call.

Lee Do Hyun’s agency has responded to reports of his military enlistment.

 

On February 2, JTBC News reported that Lee Do Hyun was preparing to enlist in the military in the first half of the year after wrapping up filming for all his upcoming projects.

 

In response to the report, a source from Yuehua Entertainment clarified, “Nothing has been decided. Since it is mandatory duty, we will immediately inform you once [the enlistment period] is decided.” The source added that Lee Do Hyun’s enlistment date has yet to be discussed. Born in 1995, Lee Do Hyun is currently 27 years old (by international reckoning).

Get ready because the premiere of JTBC’s new drama “The Good Bad Mother” is just around the corner!

 

“The Good Bad Mother” is a heartwarming new comedy about a woman who must return to her motherly duties after her adult son unexpectedly becomes like a young child again. It was confirmed in January that Ra Mi Ran will be playing the role of the “bad mother” Young Soon, with Lee Do Hyun playing her son Kang Ho. Ahn Eun Jin will also star in the drama as Lee Mi Joo, Kang Ho’s longtime friend and sole support system, who moves back to her hometown due to financial struggles.

 

The drama recently revealed a whole new slew of cast members who will bring their unique charms to this healing comedy.

 

Yoo In Soo will play the village’s troublemaker Bang Sam Shik, a person who is pure-hearted and exudes very refreshing energy that onlooking parents and neighbors can’t help but click their tongues in disapproval at.

 

Jung Woong In will play the character of Oh Tae Soo, a prosecutor-turned-assemblyman who is very dedicated to his job in the face of an upcoming election. Meanwhile, Choi Moo Sung will play Song Woo Byuk, chairman of the Woo Byuk Group who uses Choi Kang Ho so he can become connected with Oh Tae Soo.

 

Then there are the village’s other residents who bring lots of different personalities and colors to the drama. Seo Yi Sook plays Mrs. Park, the mother of Bang Sam Sik and the owner of the village mill. Kim Won Hae will play the elderly village leader, lending his comedic talents to the drama as his character takes on all of the responsibilities for the village.

 

Jang Won Young will play Mrs. Park’s husband, while Kang Mal Geum will play Mrs. Jeong, a woman who has sacrificed everything for her husband and daughter Lee Mi Joo. In addition, Baek Hyun Jin will play an eccentric composer whose dream is to build a large concert hall in the village of Jowoori.

 

Hong Bi Ra will play Oh Tae Soo’s only daughter Oh Ha Young. Ki So You and Park Da On will play twins Ye Jin and Seo Jin, who become Choi Kang Ho’s friends after he turns back into a child.
