Recurring Grandpa!

The grandpa in 1% of anything and My Girl is so adorable and reminds me of my grandpa- nice one minute and terrifying the next!

I like Dada's parents in 1% of anything they are so funny and sweet. I love the the father's voice it's really nice

i like kim sam soon's mom in MNIKSS,

the grandpa in sweet 18,

the grandma and chaegyung's father in Goong,

and the grandma in Full House

Oh!.. and eunchae's mother in MISA

AHHH.. I VOTE FOR THE Grandma in Goong..

She was absolutely adorable and she was so sweet to CG.

I also liked TaeHwa Oppa's dad in STH.. he was so funny as a security guard for SafeMall in the end after SongJu and *brain freeze can't think of the Choi Ji Woo's character's name* got married..

song hye gyo's mom in autumn tale

what a very pretty lady

the grandma and mother in miss mermaid

they were so adorable

and also shin's grandma in goong

so adorable, stylish and funny

and my favorite is young jae's grandma in full house

scenes with her are almost always funny

i almost forgot lady han and lady jung in dae jang geum

and jang geum's foster parents

they always fight..but they loved jang geum as if she was their own

and theyre so adorable

I loved watching her do the three little bears dance.. =) She's too adorable.

I absolutely loved the guy who played the dad in Happy Together to the school teacher and to Eun Soo in Save the Last Dance. He was so nice and sweet. In both roles his primary goal was for his daughter's happiness. I can't stand most of the parents in kdrama. Most of them seem to be wanting to live vicarously through there children and refuse to take responsibility for their own mistakes. Especially the rich ones who are normally so selfish, irrational, and close minded. Seriously, your child does not have an obligation to get married, get a job to save YOUR reputation or business. I'm sure normal Korean parents are not like this and these parents are for theatrical purposes, but most of the time they seem to be the real villains as opposed to the selfish rich girl who was raised by her evil parents. It is their influence that made her like that!!!

Most of the time its the elders or the parents, who brings joy and laughter into the drama. Here is my list of favorites:

1. Go Doo Shim (all-time favorite "mom"...she is a superb actress)

2. Lee Soon Jae (all-time favorite "grandpa"...an amazing actor)

3. Kim Ja Oak (she is somethimes annoying but i like her...she currently portrays Kim Jung Hwa's mom in "Like Heaven and Earth"

4. Han Yo Sep (i'm not sure of his last name...i LOVE him...he currently portrays Han Hyo Joo's dad in "Like Heaven and Earth"

5. Kim Hye Ja (she is so cute and funny...wish she was MY grandma...best known as Joo Ji Hoon's grandma in "Goong"

6. Han Jin Hee (he's muh shi suh...was Lee Bo Young's father in "Queen of Game"

7. Kyun Mi Ree (she's really pretty...best known as Kim Seung Soo's mom in "Joo Mong"

I have other favorites too but I can't remember their names...like...Joo Jin Mo's father in "Fashion 70s, Lee Yo Won's father in "Fashion 70s", Chae Rim's grandma in "Spring of Dal Ja", Joo Jin Mo's mom in "Queen of Game"....and so many others.

ahhhh.. Myong Rong's parents in Delightful Girl!! the father's juz to cutest of all!! :lol:

Yeah...loved his character as a father.

I also like Sun Taek from Lovers...
