Thanks for sharing this. So I guess this mean that IU's people were intending a much later date for the breakup news?? I'm wondering how the timing played a part in the rumours about LJG...

"Recently." Such a generic statement that offers no real insight at all and only causes misunderstandings, but how does "recently" equate to "a week ago." Also seems to imply that K and his agency confirmed without informing IU and Loen first.

@starcandy0516 Thanks very much for the info! So in other words, both agencies had no plan (as yet) in revealing the break up then. IF that reporter hadnt asked about it, we wouldnt have known until now. Ahh...kinda explains the gesture JG made at HK airport (??) We hope JE is ok...it seems they still talk about the break up, I know it's only been 1 week. Hope JE is doing fine...oh girl...

Well, since the reporter got his scoop from that community post @starcandy0516 shared, I'm assuming he took that post as complete truth and just snagged the "week ago" from there, lol (since the post claims they broke up "2 or 3 days ago at night").  By the way, now I'm super curious (again) about the insider that posted in IU's gallery (since the rumor was proven legit). xD How did they come across the info? Why would they post about it?? lol (I mean, I'm glad they did, but I'm just curious, heh.)

Anyways... basically what I got from all this is that the break-up news wouldn't have been released yet if this reporter hadn't checked IU's fan community. I wonder when they originally wanted to release it. :x

In this story, I always felt Voldy like Wook.. smart and cunning. Remember when Wook said to YeonHwa after he smashed the jade bracelet, "No one can have everything. Isn't that what is fair?" If captain's fanfic had connecting line with @NerinaC's fanfic (part 10) that Voldy knew something going on between JG-JE and realized JE had changed. She wasn't the one that he knew before, even if he pleaded to comeback she would give chance for so many times. So he planned to drop the break up news at that time to tested JG.. "No one can have everything" choose between love and Hollywood career ( same situation in Goryeo.. HaeSoo or thorne). If JG takes flight to LA, he will point out "see.. he such a coward.. runs away from rumors and K-reporters" "see, Jieun-ah.. he didn't truly love you".

Chingudeul, Did you know, for the past 4 hours, i was reading the past postings in this thread. i was track back until page 380. I remember thanking our capt @akinahana89 when this thread was made. I was enjoying this thread and and regularly lurking in to this thread. But, I couldn't join this thread since 1,5 months ago, because real life has kept me busy. But, now i'm here and being busy shipping our OTP.
