When CP exchanged the robe with eunuch jang, I knew Raon was in trouble, CP was going to make her stay in the palace while she was desperately trying to get out. The much shorter robe on CP was a laugh and the way he swaggered up and down the exam hall was super funny. On hind sight, if CP did not play the exam prank on Raon she would have left the palace and we would not have our romance

I cannot find any bad angle for Raon, be it on screen or off screen she simply radiates a fresh beauty, the type you can stare at for long periods of time. Can just imagine CP doing nothing but stare at her when he visits her bookshop, she is his medicine on days when court matters get crappy and he needs a break.

Mdbc's mantra "Work Hard but also Play Hard"

When I first came across the video I thought they were really filming a certain scene until they all broke into the dance at the end, I knew I have been trolled.

These guys worked hard but they also did not forget to have fun which was pointed out by most of the cast interviewed as the reason why it was so great to work with each other. Teams that play together work together.

so hard to choose favourites! But here are my TOP ones 

1. The scene in ep 20 where CP tells  Ra On that he'll pretend for a Long time, so please stay by my side. A reprise of the first "stay by my side" in ep 6, and the culmination of their chemistry. These sort of scene is truly their domain and they have perfected the feel. Nailed it!!! Yoo Jung was feminine and lovely, Bo Gum just so natural and so on point. No grand gestures necessary, just two hearts in sync and undeniably in love.

2. BY taking CP hostage and dying in his arms-- Super awesome feels and both actors totally totally nailed it. They were so in the moment it was acting awards quality stuff.

3. "I won't permit it, she's mine" hearts! The lantern segment of the show was just full of the date feel. The part where he says "you remind me of a... Woman" the tension, the music... And the appearance of Yoon Sung, and the famous line. Awesome sequence!!

4. Prison scene-- the feels... It was goose bump raising. It's one of those scenes when you know the actors became the characters, and interacted as Ra On and CP. it was a moment where the two interacted as lovers unconsciously and didn't realise it. That stare they shared--- electrifying!! Total goosebumps when CP said "now you're finally smiling" and "Answer me" (promise me) 

5. Ra On's dance-- the music, the feels, Ra On's eyes, the moment CP was intrigued. I feel that it was from this point that he started treating Ra On as a love interest and as a girl subconsciously

6. The sword fight! YS and CP being awesome. Enuff said 

7. The dagger bracelet cutting scene -- cut me to the heart! The build up was fantastic and bo gum acted his socks off. The two of them were crying so hard... The bts of that moment when director cried "cut" is my favourite bec it shows how much in the moment they were. They both had to literally gasp for air from crying so hard when director said "cut"

8. CP saving Ra On in the water.... Funny and beautiful! The last part when he had to be stopped from giving his coat to her and his "the floor is cold" -- swoon worthy! 

Sorry I cheated-- can't choose 5!! Can't even decide on the rank! Love them all. I'm sure there is more! 

 

edit: just watched ep 7, 8 and 9-- the lead up to the kiss gave me the du geun dugeun again and my heart was thumping so fast with his stares... and the proposal made me melt "I will block the wind for you, i will block the sunlight for you"... i was a puddle of goo by the end of it!

i notice the first time kim hun began his ambition: when he order fortune teller to read cp' fate,  then he knew that cp destined to die young and he knew about ys has face to become great king.. with halfhearted he warn fortune teller not to tell others about his prediction because kim hun already has big picture to do his plan by himself.

Good Bye our Crown Prince Lee Yeong and RaOn, we will try to cure withdrawal syndrome. Let re-watch if anyone want some more rounds to thoroughly realize how great Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung acted.

I think it's good we did a timejump of 1 year after Kim Hun and his clan was taken down... Because not only were we able to see Lee Yeong becoming king - despite many people not liking the king I think it's sad that apparently he didn't live much longer after finally being free from the influence of Kim Hun - but we also see a completely different Ra On.

As in she is so feminine and openly flirty with Lee Yeong. In the bookshop before she leaves it and he chases after her, she brushes past him in a very intuitively feminine move. Close enough to touch him but not in a vulgar way. While Ra On before was still very confused when she dressed as a woman and was mostly shy but now she is more aware of the power she has over Lee Yeong - not in a manipulative way but in a way it shows she is now who she always wanted to be. A woman who lives freely, writing, being in love with the love of her life, Her action also speaks of the intimacy she and Lee Yeong had before and only deepened throughout the year. 

That's a very good take on that scene. I'd never thought of it that way.  In true moonlighter spirit, I went back and rewatched and now it made so much more sense....so I guess in a small itty bitty way my fantasy scene (of seeing them more comfortable together came true! ) Now, I love that scene of him calling her Raon-ah and running after her and her flirtatious walk past him (to hit him but not quite,....)...sigh thanks for sharing this with us....sigh...LOVE...

LOL, I think I saw this video before but had forgotten it! Gosh they are all so adorable and you can just see their togetherness coming across. Kudos to this PD-nim and crew for playing their parts in building such an atmosphere. It must have been so pleasant to work during the MDBC Drama ! 

Btw, can I ask where did you get this clip from....? Itching to watch it again in higher quality video! LOL . AND was that music what they were actually walking to? lol or just added in and they were being naughty all on their own?
