Can people with debating nerves please open a different thread?! I kindly request. I don't know places where I can get so much update on Kdramas and I seriously want to stick around in this thread till press conference at least. 

This is why I hate shipping based on show BTS. Also defending actors based on viewers/fans comments. None of it are concrete and we all spend so much evergy over it.

According to Blossom Entertainment management's interview today, Park Bo Gum will take a break from acting till next year due to almost collapsed from Moonlight's Live filming for months, there have been several ads piled for him, in addition to Picture taking in Europe and North America with vacation, then Fan Meeting in Asia by end of this year.

1) My dearest (My person) - Park Bo Gum  - he may not be as experienced in singing as the others, but like what the Music PD and other singers have commented, his singing is sincere and you can feel it in the song.  He may not have the singing techniques like the rest, but he touched your heart with his sincere singing. It is as if it is Lee Yeong singing the song to Ra On. 

2) Fondly Goodbye - Sung Si Kyung - he is 1 of my favourite ballad singer and he didn't disappoint me in this OST.  Initially it was Beige song that was on the top of the list but the more i listen to this song, the more i like it.  But when Bo Gum's song was out, Fondly Goodbye was pushed down..hehehe.. 

3) Because I Miss You (RaOn version) - Beige - Totally in love with this version.  They have released LY version (by HCY) too late, because i'm totally into Beige's version instead. 

4) Moonlight Drawn by clouds - Gummy - I knew her as JJS's girlfriend lol.  and saw her on the music show God's Vocal War (not too sure of the exact name of the program).  Learnt that she sang for DOTS OST.  And she has proven that she is indeed 1 of the OST Queen.  Fell in love with the song when it was released as well. 

5) Love is Over - Baek Ji Young - Even though really hate the title of the song, but can't deny that when it was played, you can feel the pain like Lee Yeong when Ra On left the palace.

2. My Person - Park Bogum (the emotion behind this song is purely how Lee Yeong feels for Ra On; I love it so much that PBG sang it with emotion instead of trying to sound like a professional singer, though he equally sounds as good as one XD)

3. No Sleep - Soyou and Yoo Seungwoo (have a bit of a soft spot for this song as whenever I listen to this, I'll always be reminded of Ra On and Lee Yeong's cute moments, especially the dressing up moments )

4. Love Is Over -  Baek Ji Young (a great song from the Queen, but unfortunately extremely traumatizing for us HAHA)

5. Melting - K.Will (another soft spot song for the same reason with No Sleep)

By responding to them, you are giving them satisfaction that they have an impact on you, and that's what they're aiming for: negative reaction from us guys. Hello everyone, I am back after a loong two days away (though I have been lurking in between classes and have finally caught up to the present.?? Wow, what happened in the 2 days I've been away? I recall all seemed pleasant then? What happened?1? Invasion of the thread by non-relevant comments and dominating characters?!? T_T  Me no likey, had that problem in another soompi thread I was in 2 years ago....they spammed us so much we had to retreat to the shippers thread just to continue reviews on the dream until the mods clamped down on it.

Sigh, people....can't we get along. Stop talking about people sexual orientation, honestly I am uncomfortable talking about it even in his own thread......privacy people privacy...and what's this blowing up about the hands thing? Hellloooo people please come to any Asian countries....it happens especially within the same gender.  I hold hands with my female friends on occasions and its nothing to do with comfort or anything. Sometimes, its just casual convo while walking and sometimes in crowds......its just FRIENDSHIP. Sheesh! Holding hands is NOT a crime....sigh I don't understand why people keep comparing to western culture and implying its weird. Different culture...it's not "weird", it just "IS". Be open minded. Honestly if people are, you would have just asked what it was to understand that this was something there, you would have been fascinated and dropped the convo. But some people just can't resist going on about it.....

Point #2.: PBG's manliness. I am guessing that this must have been linked to the above topic and got pretty heated otherwise the mods and some of the Moonlighters would not have been pissed off because we were fan girl-ing CP and PBG but you must have taken it to new extremes T_T Again refer above comments, and move along!

Point #3: Can we please stop having people defend their biases in this thread? Especially if those actors are not even in this drama. Honestly, this drama is about MDBC, it's normal that people will ship the OTP in real life and the drama. Yes, we have a shipper's thread which is something that we are taking full advantage of. But  on occassions I can understand people slipping up here and there in the main moonlight thread. It's NORMAL. People usually ship the OTPs....sheesh. You don't have to be some defenders of light and come bringing up some blah blah facts to say that this actor is close to this other person at X time last time yada yada.....AGAIN what is the point of this other than annoying others T_T. JUST MOVE ALONG.....this thread does not HAVE to be a battle ground.

Most of my thoughts are still on their courtship phase and when CP is newly king.

I have been reading some. of your fantasies about the ending and sigh. My personal fantasy would have been to have seen how CP snuck out of the palace to visit Raonie after the coronation to have a private party with BY joining and eating chicken. I imagine their bond strengthening as they courted each other. Long discussions at the book stores, their games, their story telling session.....sigh....I liked all the flash backs they showed us during the drama. It really convinced me on why he loved her much. It wasn't just lust and kissing. It was a connection......where you and the other could simply sit around talking of everything and sundry. sigh.... Him helping her. and vice versa.....sigh...... And also I want to see whether Raon-ie would visit CP at the palace! Can you imagine Eunuch Jang when he sees Eunuch Hong dressed as a girl??? Would love to have seen a snippet of that. Sigh, I am dreaming of the side interactions....would have been so adorable to have seen it.

I would like to have known Yeong's plan for the future ...seen another convo between HGN and the prince where they discuss their plans....I know many people didn't like but I sort of liked the politics. It added a spice drama and ultimately was the deciding factor it making me realise why Yeong  could never live outside the palace with Raon while these power hungry Kims were in power. I think the drama got it right (just about) and I think if the ep count were longer it would have been even better fleshed out. Someone when I read writer-nim's interview, I think she is very well aware of where the drama stuttered but was constrained by the episode count. 

Anyway, these are all some of the little moments I would have loved to have seen and this has made so determined. Once I am done with exam, I am enrolling in a korean class ! I want to read the book really badly and the other one by the same author

Yeah! Uri-cuties are reunited and all together You know I realised...we never had a seen in the drama where we saw all of them together except during the assassination attempt in CP's room. But even that, JY was not there and uri-Seja was injured

let's keep this thread drama-related. many have spoken out. to anyone who wish to make some baseless comments/rumours of any cast and crew about their personal life, it is simply irresponsible and insulting. as my principal once said "Please Respect One Another's Personal Space"

 

re cebu trip. i do hope the moonlight team will be able to enjoy themselves. as for the fans, please give the moonlight team some privacy and space. about the return flight, hope the security team will beef up cos it was really disturbing (to me) to see the arrival flight scene. safety first everyone!

withdrawal: am reading the chinese translated version of novel and it is different and refreshing from the drama. i imagine our dear characters acting out the scenes in the novel. this will probably be my S2 or extended S1 moonlight, showing in my imagination.
