At least Show gave us a meaningful ending for CP and Ra On. We get to see the king he was meant to be and Ra On as a bookshop owner. I LOVE that. Suits her to the tee. Above all, show showed us how love conquered  all. OTP's  love for each other brought them together and kept them together. CP's love for BY and vice versa kept them faithful to each other's friendship. YS's love for Ra On endured even unto death. A beautiful story not perfect but beautiful nonetheless.  Thank you, Show.

The 1st kiss was in the garden, in such secrecy. Also in the palace, in CP's territory. RO is being Samnom too.. 

The last one was in the outside, such huge place with lots of power. And CP is being LY, RO is being girly RO, 

Such symbol of freedom, happiness and blossomed future! In a way it might be more meaningful than showing formal wedding or kissing in a room! Sigh...

 

 

Yes I agree with you. At first I was disappointed because there is no wedding scene and I was actually waiting for it in the special episode for an epilogue but when I read your take on the kiss. I'm very very satisfied with the ending! Your interpretation of the kiss is as beautiful as the kiss. So sweet!

Wedding? Well I'll leave it on my own imagination, I can even dream of it in my sleep today.

Thank God still manage to follow the recap. And I'm satisfied with the ending especially with CP become King not leaving the palace & we have the 2nd kiss scene here wohoo. Well my byeontae soul not being fully feeding because of the short scene our OTP reunion & no spindle time .

Because my traumatize with this year weird ending dramas trend, I make a vow to my self that if the PD-nim & writers can give this drama a perfect ending then I will devote my self to watch their future project regardless the genre & the length of episode.

For YS regardless how sad I am about his ending but I still being grateful because they portrayed his character as a perfect hero, trully gentlement, flawless, righteous, kindhearted, loyal & gave him a meaningful farewell with his moon. He will be remembered forever 

Finally after long awaited I got another perfect drama that all what I can describe as Beautiful just beautiful

And also big love & thank you so much to all my beloved Moonlighters family who done the live recap for the finale & BTS

I have been doing them consistently for like an hour....what on earth am I going to do with my Monday and Tuesday nights.....and my Friday nights....and my Saturday and Sunday nights where I am glued in anticipation damn it, I promised not to cry and and AND I can't stop bawling my eyes out!

I didn't know I will cry a mess when he was dying. I feel for RAon...imagine she has to hold him while he slowly take his last breath. I haven't really mourn for his departure yet. I will be in a mess when I watch with subs tomorrow.

King Lee Young and Raon looks so dashing in the ending scene. And finally a toast to a beautiful love story of Joseon.
