Chapter 1: WHERE IS OUR HONEYMOON?

One week after the marriage, GH is too busy with his work because his company became well-known on the market.
BLY is accept to live outside of the military camp but he feels very bored because GH's always busy on business. BLY wants to come back to the camp because of his boreness.
GH reveals he wants to finish his business as soon as possible so that they can have free-of-work honeymoon in South Africa.

Chapter 2: THE PLAN FAILS

15 hours before the couple takes on a plane for their honeymoon. GH receives a call from his vice-president (I don't know her name in Eng, anyone can give me a little help with Eng names, other than GH and BLY, I know nothing). She says the branch in Macau is in fire. GH needs to be there immediately.
At that time, BLY is busy shopping for their coming honeymoon. BLY receive a call from GH about the accident in Macau and their honeymone may be delayed for a while.
BLY comes home in a bad mood. He was patiently waiting for this honeymoon in silence for a whole 2 weeks. He did not even talk to GH because he wants him make his work done soon.

Chapter 3: MORE AND MORE LONELY

That night, BLY was alone at their home. He wants to see YM. They have a drink outside and he confess to YM how hurtful and lonely he is when GH leave for Macau.
YM takes BLY home because he is too drunk. GH tries to call BLY but there is no reply.

Chapter 4: DON'T COME HOME EVEN WHEN YOUR WORK IS DONE

BLY wakes up at 2 a.m and notice a miss call from GH. He wish in desperation that GH will come home before the plane for their honeymone takes off.
BLY cannot sleep at all because his dear not here with him like before.
6 a.m - the mark for their honeymoon comes to the end, BLY decide to call for GH to say he will go back to the camp but no reply. He tried several times for a few hours then give up and pack everything up to back to the camp.
GH calls back for BLY. BLY repiles in a bitter mood then quickly hang up without mentioning about going back to the military camp.
At the camp, BLY notices there are 3 miss calls and 1 message from GH. The message says "Little LuoYin, I can wait for you with my whole life. Our honeymoon, could you mind waiting for me just a few more days?". BLY replied: "Don't come home even when your work is done. Stay at Macau for another week."
After reading BLY's message, GH thinks BLY is still very upset. He tries to call back to give some explaination but no reply at all while the plane to Macau at 1 p.m's taking off.

Please enjoy it while waiting for someone kinder than me doing a full translation. There is a lot of minor details making each chapter very interesting and addicted

@fuyuko Thanks for posting the video up. I've been curious to see what ZZ's reaction was when JY went up the stage to collect his award. So far, I've only seen fancams that feature ZZ's reaction during JY's girlfriend skit.

This is the first time I manage to see ZZ's reaction when JY was up on stage. 

When the female MC asked JY to sing his song to his fans / "girlfriend", the man beside ZZ looked at him and some fans were probably shouting out something too, that's why ZZ turned to the back.

Looks like I'm not the only one who thinks that the song JY sang was really meant for ZZ....kudos to the MCs who gave JY a little nudge to help him indirectly connect to ZZ by choosing a song they both sang at the Shanghai fan meet.

Hi @sixte, sorry I was away for a full day and can only reply to you now. Let me share with you why I am very sure it was not a move to promote the series internationally with three points.

Firstly, this is not the only BL series that got banned. There was a lesbian web series (错了性别，不错爱) that was going to be published on iQiyi. You can find it on youtube. It also has more than 2 million views btw. There were also several BL movies in the works that were suspended after the ban. These productions are not from the same company. So, the phenomenon is not restricted to this series. By the way, this is not the first time, SARFT has taken a web series off line. Before this, many web series were taken down, such as Go Princess Go and Tomb Raider, for being morally incorrect. The only difference is that they just needed to be revised and edited, and can be shown again. There was an advisory issued a few days later to warn the productions companies not to produce such shows ever again. In fact, the SARFT requires them to send the scripts for approval before they can be filmed. This news was regarded by some as fake but then SARFT never came out to "clarify". If it is fake, why would they not want to clarify? This would only mean that it is most probably true. 

Secondly, this show had 10 million viewers on its first day of release on iQiyi. Before it was banned, it has the second highest viewership on iQiyi after Descendents of the Sun. Even though right now it is the most popular series ever to come from China internationally in recent years, I highly doubt that it exceeds the number of fans from China. I mean the number of views on Soompi maybe 1 million now, but on weibo, it is 1.6 billion views/discussions. On youtube, the fastest growing channel has 1million views for the most popular episode, but it already has 10 million views for the first episode in China. Why will they kill the local market for the international market? By the way, 1 million youtube views with ads will only earn you $2,000 and there are so many unofficial youtube channels where the production company does not even earn a single cent. I don't think it is really an attractive business model.

Thirdly, the model which they work on is very different. In fact, there was a Chinese article that was written on entgroup,cn about this. The major revenue comes from the selling the DVD and not from airing the show. Now, they cannot sell the DVD in China, which is their biggest market... Why would anyone do that for the smaller international market?

The second "ban" is related to the first. The SARFT wants to send out a warning to the whole industry not to test the boundaries of what is permissible. To do that, they must stop people from trying to become famous, popular and rich by testing the boundaries of censorship. If both JY and ZZ continue to be popular, then they are afraid that others will still take the "risk", and undermine their efforts to "cleanse the media of social ills."

A few months ago, the Chinese leader Xi Jinping has shared that the entertainment industry has a moral responsibility. SARFT is merely acting on that principle. In other words, the entertainment industry should not be chasing after profits only but also guide the masses on what is morally right and wrong. Addicted Web Series is about all things that the Chinese government wants to discourage i.e. teenage love, extra marital affairs, corruption, abuse of power, etc. So it has to come down. And if the leads become popular because of this, it sends a very "wrong" message to the people of China and the industry. So, their view is that the actors should distance themselves from this "immoral" series. If not, they are bad role models.

[After many tragedies, including THAT scene. They made up, took turns to be on top lol and went to GH's family house. BLY found a photo of GH smiling in his mother's arms in his room. It was the only time he smiled on camera.]

On the way back to their apartment, GH asked, "What do you want to eat?"

BLY thought for a while without coming up with anything, simply said, "Whatever."

"How about noodles?"

BLY's face fell, his eyebrows twisted into a cross, "Can we change it up a bit? Since I moved in, nine out of ten days we have noodles."

GH tapped on the wheel, enthusiastically said, "This time it'll be different, we only boiled the already-made stuff before, this time I'll personally make and knead the dough."

BLY tearfully closed his eyes for a long time, "Can we just eat pre-made noodles?"

GH insisted, BLY didn't have the heart to attack his enthusiasm, had he known he would have made a definite answer, this is what I want to eat, to stop him on his evil path.

They arrived home right at lunch time, BLY smelled the meals from other people's homes, he really didn't want to stay at his.

GH eagerly got in the kitchen. BLY sat in the living room playing with his computer, loud noises coming out of the kitchen scared him wave after wave, how come waiting for a meal feels like a knife at his throat.

"Yin Zi!"

Hearing GH call, BLY ran over. The door is closed, he pushed in and got even more terrified. The sinks, the cutting boards, the stove, the dish racks... everywhere, they were all covered in white, on GH's clothes, shoes, neck, face... there's flour all over, yet nothing in the bowl.

"What'd you call me for?" BLY watched GH, flabbergasted.

GH waved his flour-covered hands, beamed: "I just want you to see, I'm done kneading!"

"..."

When BLY went to the kitchen again, GH had already started cooking, BLY looked at a strayed noodle on the countertop, he couldn't help but marvel. Albeit a bit rough and uneven, it looks like noodle, his eyes couldn't hide a little joy. Ah~ they're truly separate noodles! Not wet wad, not lumps, not even dry dough... Literally noodle!

BLY picked it up, it broke in two.

GH coolly lectured, "What are you doing? That's not the proper way to pick up noodles!"

"What is this 'proper' way are you talking about?" BLY snapped back, "I see Aunt Zhou picking them up all the time, in any way, they never break."

GH rolled his tiger eyes, "This amateur, in your untrained eyes, of course it doesn't seem obvious. Only professionals like I know the skill, see, this is how you pick them up."

As he was talking, GH carefully put a handful of noodles in the cooker, however, this end went in, the other still stayed in his hand, ultimately those less-than-20-cm noodles, they all broke.

GH couldn't contain his anger.

BLY patted his shoulder, "Just pretend I've never seen anything." then walked out.

GH yelled at him from behind, "You, come back! I did it wrong this time!"

Oh, the meals from downstairs smelled so good, BLY needed to close the windows quickly, or else he'd jump off the building.

Ten minutes passed, guessing everything was done, he knocked on the kitchen door, "Are you done?."

GH was coughing like a maniac in there, unable to hear the knocks.

BLY opened the door, thick smoke swirled out, GH driving on clouds, riding on winds, stood in front of the stove, a pan on one hand, a ladle on the other, fire burned underneath, his shirt seemed to already caught fire.

"What are you even trying to do?" BLY also coughed because of the smoke.

GH didn't seem to hear, bravely waved around the blackened pan.

Is that sauce? BLY looked around for the noodles, after half a day, finally found many little lumps, big and small, like fingers and nails. No doubt, these are the "noodles" made by the professional GH.

"I changed my mind!" GH looked at BLY in all his earnestness.

His face was ash black, even the eyebrows were scalded a bit.

"Didn't you say you're sick of noodles? Today we'll eat fried dough!"

"..."

At midnight, BLY woke up, saw GH sit on the bed, smoking. His cold cheekbones illuminated by the gloomy light, ashtray full of filters. BLY had no idea how long he had been sitting like that, he still remember sleeping at the same time; before going to bed, his face was still bright with impure thoughts.

Now, it all changed.

Sensing the stir beside him, GH put out the cigarette, turned his head toward BLY, "Awake?"

"You haven't slept?"

"No, I've just woken up."

BLY sat up, put out his hand, "Give me one."

"Don't, you won't sleep well."

BLY glared at GH, "Then why are you?"

"I'm addicted." [TITLE DROP BOOM SHAKALAKA]

BLY didn't care for GH, his upper half pressed on GH's body, stretched out to take the pack. GH took the chance to touch his butt, BLY didn't mind, lit up his cigarette, a faint vapor came out from his lips.

"What are you thinking?"

GH closed his eyes, the corner of his mouth twitched mischievously, "Tell me, why did the noodles break?"

BLY's eyes pierced GH, "All night for that?"

GH didn't say anything, the room fell in silence.

After a cigarette, BLY asked, "Are you missing your mother?"

The waves in GH's eyes stopped, like a quiet drop of water hanging in the air, suddenly froze into ice.

BLY put out the cigarette, blandly said, "I figure, when you're actually upset, you always endure it alone. After you're done, only then you come for me, pretend to get my pity."

GH froze.

BLY put his arm around GH, tried to pull him over, but GH's body stiffened, unmoved. Finally, BLY had to lean over, pressed a kiss on the thin lips, coldness crept into his mouth. He sat like that for a long time already. He hugged GH tightly, warmed GH up with his lips, until GH loosened up and hugged him back with all his body, only then BLY felt his trampled heart relieved. 

Dark room, they held each other close, naked.

After a long while, BLY ran his hand in GH's hair, being uncharacteristically affectionate.

"I don't know what to say to you, you know I'm not much with words."

GH smiled reluctantly, yet his eyes full of adoration, "Can't you try just this one time, say something nice for me?"

BLY asked seriously, "What do you want to hear?"

GH put on an act of thinking, said, "I want to hear you say, husband, you're awesome!"

BLY kneed him directly down there, GH growled, in a flashy way that makes the other be sure of his feelings.

"I'm here."

The moving hands on BLY's back stopped.

After a litte while, BLY repeated, "It's ok. I'm here."

His strong will collapsed, gratitude flooded GH deep inside, in this moment, nothing could compare with these words, nothing could ever pacified him like this. When his life fell into that abyss, he was hopeless, anguished, he suffered alone. And he had thought he could never get out of that depth of pain, forever had to gnaw on his wounds. Now with these words, the lock that hid away his painful memories had been broken, but even if he had to touch that darkest corner, now there was a pair of hands for him to hold.

He bit BLY's shoulder.

"Yin Zi, you're my entire happiness."

Every misery doesn't matter anymore, every sorrows fades away when you console me.

"I only have you."

BLY, shaken and ached with pain and passion, listened intently.

"Don't ever leave."

"Uh."

 

GH gets better at cooking, though. Very good indeed. Love conquers all.

Comparing that with Johnny, aside from his shirtless scene in the series, before taking a shower at BLY's house.. we do only had glimpses of his nips like the one below and other than that, there really aren't any shoots where he took his shirt off completely...

@fuyuko Ah, yes, that too, but I think that was taken for the series' promo or something, but aside from those.. nothing at the present for mag photo shoots, cms,  endorsements, etc.

I think, this is because after Shanghai FM, JY started to loose his weight drastically so he lost his good body build and became too skinny. When he started to gain his weight back, he did not have time to train, so his muscles slacked and he got more body fat than ZZ. Compare pre-Addicted JY with after Shanghai FM JY and current JY, you will find three different body builds with pre-Addicted JY has the best body build.

If he continues training like what he does now, I am sure he will be back to his great, pre-Addicted build and then he will start posing shirtless. OMG, imagine the chaos! 

(I exclude GH!JY because as many have said here, GH's build is too bulky for a model. His is my favourite though )

BTW, my friend dragged me into this Addicted series and I found XWZ&HJY interesting so I'm here to stay ( and since I can speak Chinese, my friends won't let me be anyway, always come asking me to check this and that. And XWZ, WTH, you have to go Japan? Why wouldn't you be like HJY targeting Korean audience instead? I don't speak Korean and they wouldn't bother me anymore. I'm ranting here, pardon my frustration venting)

After a while, I watched the series but not to the point I can remember every little details like you guys here. Dude, sometimes I couldn't even tell the 2 main characters apart. But yeah, I don't think you guys can blame me, they really resemble each other, now in some photos I have to look twice to see who is who.

Back to topic, it seems you guys have already heard HJY singing on changba. I think some of you might understand why I said HJY isn't cut out to become singer. I know, he was emotional and all ( actually I think he heard like crying partly because of his bad vocal, breath controlling and pronunciation but well, it's only personal opinion), yeah, I understand.
