Yes, perhaps you are both right. I'm still a newcomer when it comes to Tumblr so I guess I'm just gullible on there. I will try not let these ramblings get the best of me next time. But even if there isn't any 2nd season I'm still fine with it. I like the novel(s).

Seeing as how everything these days is getting adapted into a series or film and people becoming really upset about recently (e.g. Ghost in the Shell Live-Action movie controversy), I actually don't mind if someone richard simmons up a live-action because at least the original source material still exist.

Well... let's not giving up hope for season 2. It's not completely out of the realm of possibility yet. I actually like the series better than the novel in this case.. the novel is just too unrealistic for me.

Was too sleepy to reply you yesterday about this. But this is what I know about this story.
I'm not sure about full love story haha as I've never read them but it was probably written in ancient Chinese that makes no sense to me.
Chinese have 3 famous ancient Chinese terms to describe gay. (Well recently, because of brokeback mountain, "brokeback" term is also commonly used too) 

These 3 terms also have a famous story attached to it. I only know the idea behind those terms but not the details so I went to google for them:
1) 龙阳之好/龙阳之兴/龙阳之癖 (Long Yang: Name of Long Yang Jun)(These 3 terms basically means Liking/Interested/Addicted to Long Yang) 
King of Wei one day went fishing with Long Yang Jun and caught some 10+ fish. But Long Yang Jun suddenly start crying. Wei was shocked and ask him why, Long Yang said at first Wei caught a fish he was very happy, after that the fish that Wei caught become bigger and bigger and discarded the old ones. Watching this let's him think that there are so many beauties in the four seas,  he was afraid that Wei likes other beauties and discard him, that's why he cry. Wei to not let Long Yang sad, he ordered a nationwide ban who dares to discuss about beauties will have whole family prosecuted. 

(It is said Long Yang is a cunning man, knows swordsmanship well, a strategist and diplomat, and one that has better ending than other famous male consort where his position become stronger after Wei passed away, his ending is a mystery though)

2) 断袖/断袖之癖 (Duan Xiu: Cut sleeve/Addicted to Cut Sleeve) (I think this term is the most popular usage out of the 3 to describe being gay, Long Yang is as you said more towards describing the sexual part)
Liu Xin or later he become Ai King(Ai means sorrow so I don't know why he has this title),  He met Dong Xian when he was still crown prince where Dong Xian father was a minister and Dong Xian was sent to accompanying him. After a few years, when he became king, he saw Dong Xian again and was captivated by him thinking he became so handsome after many years. After that, he was so into Dong Xian that he was at his side in and out and cannot leave him at all.

Ok, the famous thing that Ai King did. One day they were having afternoon nap, Dong Xian was sleeping on Ai King's sleeve. Ai King wanted to get up but in order not to disturb Dong Xian's sleep, Ai King cut off his sleeve. Hence the Cut Sleeve term. After Dong Xian know this, he was very touched but he didn't want this to happen again so he started wearing clothes with tight sleeves short collar which became a fad in the palace. 

 Ai King was so infatuated with Dong Xian that there are so many things he did. Like he made Dong Xian into 大司马(Da Si Ma) which is the highest official in that era, that time Dong Xian was only 22 years old. Other diplomats that came was shocked with such a young and beautiful Da Si Ma.

One day at a feast where he was a bit drunk, he looked at Dong Xian affectionately and shocked his men by saying that he would give his throne to Dong Xian.
Also, even though Ai King was young at that time, he cannot bear the thought of life without Dong Xian after the passed away. So he made another tomb beside his tomb for Dong Xian. Well, good times were short, Ai King passed away at a young age of 26 years old. Dong Xian knew his end was coming and committed suicide with his wife.

3) 分桃 (Fen Tao: Share Peach)
Mi Zhi Xia was a physician and a favourite of Wei Ling Gong. That time, using the King's carriage was a big offense and feet need to be cut. But he praised Mi Zhi Xia when Mi Zhi Xia used his carriage with fake order to see his sick mom at night. Some other day, they were in a peach garden and Mi Zhi Xia eaten a peach that is so sweet and gave it to the king to eat. King said:"He loves me so much that he has already forgotten that he has eaten the peach before gave me"

(Don't really want to write about this because the king was extremely bastard. After Mi Zhi Xia became old and fall out of favour from him, one day Mi Zhi Xia offends the king and the king starts to bring out old accounts:"This person in the past used my carriage with a fake order from me, and gave me to eat leftover peach."

I spoke on this subject in a past post. This information is false and misleading. To date none of us know the status of Addicted 2 and as far as the rumors about Johnny those are al false and he still involves himself with Addicted related media (Thai fan meet). If you are a fan just keep supporting the boys and don't keep getting caught up in the baseless rumors that are misinformation.

May I add that JY has mentioned a few times that he thought love has no boundaries? The reason for the rumour was because his management team had prevented him from commenting on Addicted Web Series to save his career.

Given how SARFT is coming after ZZ and JY with the ban of the two of them on TV variety shows, @QueenAlysanne, can you blame his team (who probably had been warned) for wanting him to distance from Addicted web series?

If you look at the video posted by @tomomoshi, do you honestly think that he doesn't want to interact with ZZ? They are being persecuted at the moment by the authorities, as fans maybe we can do more to support them rather than sideline them too, @QueenAlysanne. I am reposting the video again.
