Had dinner with my china colleague and we talked about Dong Bei people (东北人) favourite food and i just randomly mentioned about how they love millet porridge and my colleague totally agreed and said yes they love it very much! I am sure most of you know JY is from there and how we suspect he cooked millet poriddge for zz but hearing this from a China person i know personally is totally different from reading online that dong bei ren likes millet porridge! I mean i cant find the reason why zz (a shanghainese) will know or like to eat millet porridge!? 

Anyway i am so excited for the airing of demon girl. I believe jy will  appear in the early episodes since he is the emperor and they mostly gonna start the story from the olden/ancient/dynasty era.

The part where they slo-mo the video when Zhouzhou was gulping, what was written about it? It seems to me like they're trying to say that when Zhouzhou was swallowing his saliva, the audio aka Johnny's recorded voice was still playing? I thought it was the fans singing along to the song while Zhouzhou took a second to swallow his saliva...

Their delulu level is way more extreme than mine I reckon

The fans are so close with them(there are 6 of them in a band) but I don't know what you guys would think... Is it same or different, and the number of fans of course not as many as ZZ's... JY's concert is on 23 July? That's one month away! He needs to get ready! He needs to train his vocal, like 24/7, with a good teacher, like a certain young singer who has just sent his Korean fans to the moon and back. :3 :3 :3

Listening to Seoul's When Hai has Yin, I did not hear JY's voice? What I hear was ZZ's singing JY's part in deeper voice so that it sounded like JY's voice. If he really used JY's recorded voice, in JY's first part we should hear him singing (because ZZ was quiet for a second or two) but there was nothing.

Ah, ZZ's concert was just a few days ago but I need my dose. When is his next concert going to be? Totally addicted to his (and JY's) voice here (x__x). Hopefully he will sing during his live stream. A cover of Jay Chou's songs will do

On this day, when we're idly wondering what ZZ and JY is doing, ZZ in Beijing and JY in Shanghai (or? Who knows? Maybe he too can travel by other means, back to what is now, supposedly, his home. With the rest of his stuff! It would make sense), it's time for some analysis of the 9 mins bed scene bts.

@Scandani has already said some clever words about this first bit, but I just want to post the gifs, so here we go again.

It's really not very strange that ZZ watches JY when he suddenly feels inclined to do some stretching, because it's a little odd, and with those soft pants, quite eye-catching too. I'm not even sure ZZ realises he's watching, it kind of looks like his eyes just wanders that way... And then wanders back again, like he can't help himself. The way I see it, is that he's very, very fascinated by JY at this point. Again, it's early days here, so it's the beginning of whatever they're feeling. And I think ZZ is intrigued. I'm particularly fond of how ZZ, after watching JY's leg, then just watches JY's face instead, steadily, for quite a long time. Like I said, fascinated.

There are also a few clues that ZZ is more nervous than he's letting on, because he does a few unexplicable things (more examples in another post). Like here, this sudden throw to the side. I can't find any good reason for this move. The oddest thing is that he's not getting any reaction from anyone it seems, JY's just lying there, eyes closed, not bothered at all. It does make me wonder if ZZ does this often, so no one cares... He looks a little embarrassed,

But then, after JY got out of character for a few times, they're into it. JY looks quite serious, for the first time, seemingly finally concentrating on playing the part.

Which leads to ZZ really getting into it too. With gusto! I love how he all of sudden pounces on JY, accelerates his movements and lays into him a bit. And then goes for the jugular, so to speak. I think it's part of the script (from a comment from the director at another point) that BLY tries to open GH's belt here, so I think that's what ZZ is doing. But it seems to bring JY into a panic! What are you doing! What's your hand doing there! Eeeep!

So JY does what he can to get control of the situation and decides to use a jiujitsu move to flip ZZ over, so that he can be on top instead. I love ZZ's donkey laugh, it's adorable. And it looks quite sexy, in a way, the way ZZ keeps his legs in the air when JY is on top of him...

It gets terribly messy and not particularly workable for the scene - since it looks more like a wrestling match than a love scene -  and JY is just awfully embarrassed and discontent. And so is ZZ.

I think it's JY's inexperience as an actor which keeps showing here; he doesn't have any technique, he's just acting on instinct, mostly. So when he's not yet completely into his part, he can't get it right. While ZZ has technique he can use to do his part, even if he too isn't yet completley into being BLY. All that just proves how much they both - but JY in particular - DID get into it, when they actually filmed, considering how much passion and true feeling they both showed on screen. In essence, they eventually became BLY & GH, and probably transferred their characters' feelings for each other onto themselves. With intriguing result. :

Unless ZZ used recorded instrumental with backup voice like Kpop idols do, then probably there is a faint hint of JY's voice...

Also, some of us Soompiers who will attend ZZ's concert in Thai are preparing something nice for you guys hehehe please wait for the announcement later!

There's been a number of discussions at different times, usually in response to Changba posts *ahem*, about the differences in ZZ and JY's singing voices. Where ZZ tends to sing with at least some sense of technique, JY's voice is almost completely fueled by emotion.  Watching the concert clips, ZZ was obviously so emotional while singing Hai Rou You Yin and Walk Slowly, both. Maybe it's just me, but I definitely heard a different aspect to his voice that I don't think we've ever heard before.  I believe that what people are hearing thinking it's JY's voice, is really just ZZ letting the emotional power come through, much like how JY does normally. It's just being noticed because it is something different.

(note: there will be a place to drop gifts at the venue, or we will try find other way to give the book to him).

I believe that much of their (JY & ZZ) suppression are a combination of environmental factors between competition and censorship.  JY and ZZ are revolutionary in the entertainment industry (they are 改革cun风cui进门).  The kind of fame they're getting now is really unprecedented.  Many mainland Chinese artists took at least 4 to 6 years (or much longer) to build this kind of popularity compare to 6 months for these two (and even then, those artists are unable to reach the market outside of China, unlike ZZ and JY).  What makes it worst is that they've made their own choices and have chosen their own paths, which probably offended some of the big players in the entertainment industry.  ZZ prematurely signed with CJD, thus bringing FM into play with other competitors in the market share.  If not suppress, can easily become a major influence.  I don't think it is so much as the government suppressing him, but it is the fierce competitions between different broadcasters and big players in the entertainment market that resulted in him them being suppressed.  

Even more strange, JY, who refused to sign with anyone, established their own studio!  I really admire him, but in the eyes of some competitors and other artists....'who are you to be able to do that?!'  It typically takes an experienced artist who has already gain a firm hold of their career to do this.  For someone from an unknown background to independently set up their own studio, this is unheard of and could easily offend others!  Fortunately for JY, setting up his own studio is the best thing he could have done if he wants to retain his freedom and build his own business.  For one, he doesn't have to pay an artist fee to a managing company, thus much of what he received will be true value pay for each job.  Secondly, he can pick and choose projects that are a better fit for his schedule and doesn't have to conform to a certain image that a managing company might try to promote.  

These two have the entertainment companies salivating at the door to sign them up at one point, but they literally crushed those expectations by doing their own thing.  This is one of the reason for the suppression, it is to keep ZZ and JY out of the current market share of the entertainment industry by trying to keep the balance that has already begun to shake up.  Another point is that ZZ and JY are not molded to be like the current trending artists!  This makes them both felt more raw, real, and different!  It is refreshing to see and another reason for others to fear them.....they are afraid that ZZ and JY will set the trend for the next generation of stars/artists/idols.  If regular citizens can easily become popular idol, this would be bad for business, especially for those who have invested in grooming their own.  

Lastly, what made it easier for both ZZ and JY to be suppress is also the fact that Addicted is banned.  Competitors can and will report any show that try to use them as potential promoters for Addicted.  But the good news is that, these kind of suppression does not work for long if they both have strong backing from fans and is able to win the heart of the masses.  As time goes by, Addicted will become a thing of the past.  It is a smart move for ZZ to do his concerts in Thailand and especially Korea.  How many Chinese artists can say that they have a sold out concerts in Korea?  How many Chinese artists have the potential to reverse the Korean wave?  If you can become the pride of China, sooner or later, you will win the heart of China.  If you have the opportunity to go to Thailand and support ZZ's concert, don't hesitate.  If the tickets can be sold out there as well, this will be good for his image.  

 

 

In regards to Lulu, she cut her hair because she's playing the lead actress for the Chinese version of Coffee Prince, nothing that is related to JY.  We shouldn't be so easily influence by rumors and naysayers.  And you should place more trust in JY and ZZ.  I don't think we would love them so much if they are the kind of people that can easily stray.  CP image is unavoidable for actors and actresses.....they have embarked on this path, we support them in the projects that they do and believe that at the end of the day, they will not forget the beginning of the heart.  

I just find it interesting that many CP fans always blame JY or calling for a durian whenever they see him in a photo with a woman.  I've seen ZZ pictures and selfie with the other women including the gal he danced with during the Beijing autograph concert and no one ever call him out on it or asking for a durian like they did with JY.  Too many people are quick to blame and turn away from JY.  This trend, I've seen it since late February and early March when; he did not sign with FM, deleted some of his weibo posts, 4/17 fan-meeting, and now because of the debacle with Lulu.  A man with a shoulder to carry responsibilities, he will end up taking the blame and be misunderstood, but you know that his heart is tough and tender with a sense of morality and wisdom that is a bit beyond his age.  Not sure why many people cannot see this, you should understand his character after watching/reading all of his interviews.  For someone who listed their priority as Family, Love, Friends, and then Career, you know that this is someone who will follow his heart in everything he does.  This is someone with a high level of conscience.
