For me regarding their situation I feel more sorry for DR whose mom is alive, leaves with her under the same roof but  she never can find the time to prepare breakfast or lunch for her son.

When someone's best bday gift is to have a meal prepared from his mom and all he/she get is money to buy one then he/she feels like he's worth nothing.

My husband lost his mom in a very early age , he was almost 6 yo then and sometimes I asked him how he felt all these years on Mother s day and of course how it is to grow up with out his mother.

His answer surprised me.He said  It must be nice to have your mom but he could not feel her absence bz he lost her when he was very young and he could not compare the before and after.

I am saying all these cz we see things through our adult eyes and our adult memories and experiences .We can not never know how a child feels.

Sorry chingus for the long post .I am so behind and you are so fast that I can not catch you .

I am a Team JungHwan and TeamAlwaysHopingForTheBest but at the end I am a fan of Reply 88.

must agree with your post. This is what i want to say for a long long time ago. Nodding at every words you wrote its look i like that words comes from my mind too that i cant wrote. I am also tired of characters in the drama and posters in soompi pampering Taek. I dont for how many times i give myself chances to change that opinion, but still until today i cant change that opinion (even taek really didnt allow me to change that opinion..look at what he already did in this drama). I love TK, i wanna see his lawyered character more and more. Just remembered what my sister said that she still uncomfortable and cant catch his mysterious side (really cant connect to his character and look like he isnt happy with his baduk world). Christmas Eve shopping was created by the devil to punish me for sins I didn't even know I committed. I am so close to going home, slaughtering my family and burying them in the backyard we don't even have just so I never have to do this again. I am officially becoming an atheists so I don't have to this richard simmons ever again. What the richard simmons does gift purchasing, endless lines, wrapping all nice and pretty when they are just going to rip it off; have to do with the richard simmons birth of richard simmons baby Jesus?!?!?!? Was he even born in December!?!? Mary and Joseph ain't give him richard simmons!!! I been here since 10 am and I'm just so done but there are still so many people left. I'm not even sure I love these people anymore or enough to keep standing in this ridiculous line for them!!? *takes a deep calming breath* 

RJY looks good in that greeting and you can tell he is trying not to laugh uttering those lines. I know babe, R88 is not as important as the birth of Christ and more important...GIFTS from Santa (he's real. I just saw him and his twin in different areas of the mall).

pray that I don't off any one between now and the endless gift wrapping I will soon have to do...MERRY FRECKIN' CHRISTMAS

LOL at what @papulichan answered to this question. its relieved that the boys in my home, my dad and my brother, didnt do the same things like that. They wouldnt roam in their boxers and pjs  everyday. If they really would do that, my mom will throw richard simmons every day without being tired, I would do the same to if my mom not around. seriously, in real life i cant stand seeing that kind of behaviour but i can see JH with that shirtless with just boxer every day on my screen ..buhaahahahahahahaha

Completely agree with you. I think at some point, Taek outgrew the baby image everyone think he is, but he still let them pampering him anyway. The only one who knew his trueself is himself. I don't know if that's make sense to y'all but that's how I feel from him.

@MrsSoJiSub at least it shows that you care enough to give people gifts...i didn't bother at all. I used to love Christmas holidays, now I'm just so 'meh' about it. It has become my most lonely holiday so far. I want to get it over with. But getting it over with means I'll have to go back to work...ugh...so confusing. 

I so love, love, love, RJY's Christmas greeting. Also, did you guys see his IG post with him, Bora, and JinJoo playing around? It was so cute. It seems like he's really great with kids. He'll be a good father someday.

I survived. I killed no one. My family is still alive my feet however are dead LOL. I am home. Wine induced, and ready to wrap gifts  after this, sleep, wake up, avoid this form and spoilers, watch raw, come here and play catch up/join in the spazzing and then wait for Saturday so we can do it all over again. Oh right I got midnight mass to go to later....Reply 1988 come save me from this holiday things... @amyrrhile don't be humbug. Break out done eggnog mixed with scotch? Jin? All you have to do is to move in my part of the world where giving gifts on Christmas day was never a tradition and nobody will give you the evil eye look if you do not got him anything.

Still you have to deal though with a visit in the church in the morning and an all family gathering later.

3) Who ends up at the hospital??  (I think it'll be Junghwan's Dad)

4) Hints for the time jump?? Earlier reports had said there would be a time jump in ep 15, yet presently a time jump seems more probable in ep 16. We shall see.

I think Taek allows it because he sees people are happy when they can help him (or at least he thinks so) plus it has been their mode of interactiom all this while so he doesn't stop them.

LOL I read this and suddenly I have a story to share. I've been watching Reply 1988 with my mom and she likes the show very much.

Yesterday she was skype-ing her sister (my aunt) about plans to visit my grandmother in our home country in January. She then goes into a whole rant of how the house would be a mess and how we're going to die starving without her and how the entire house is  not going function without her. I eavesdropped. Heh. Then my aunt told her don't worry cos survival instincts will kick in and hey, there's always takeout.

After she ended the conversation, she repeated the entire thing in front of me and tells me basically that the entire house will breakdown without her. I gave her a Bora stare. Dead silence. Then she said to me, "Did I just sound like Mama Kim in Reply 1988? Will the house getting turned into a doghouse and then cleaned before I return?" So I said, "yep, since you know how things work after watching Reply 1988 I'm not going to clean the place. You need to feel needed."

P.S. I'm not rude with my mom. She knows that all my sassy answers are jokes. (In this case, I think I'm only half joking... I'm not cleaning )

It's been December 25th for 32 minutes and counting in my little corner of the world so:

Please ignore my earlier rant. Twas the tired and dead feet talking. I love everything about Christmas. I like taking pictures with Santa (you are never too big LOL) and watching my nephews do the same. I love giving my family gifts and watching their faces light up when they open then. I like baking cookies and leaving milk out with my nephews for Santa. I enjoy waking up at 7am Christmas morning to open gifts. The pictures taking, thanks you's, and family breakfast are the bestest. I could do without having to go to church 3 different times throughout the day but I enjoy that tradition too. I would be the first to weep, complain, and beg for it if my family were to take away gift giving (the 3 wise men brought gifts). I just learned a valuable lesson today to never ever ever leave gift shopping for Christmas Eve (man I feel bad for retail workers). Sorry for being a humbug earlier and again: MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL  or Happy Holidays or Happy Friday if you don't believe in and or do not celebrate Christmas or any other holiday that is around this time of year.

my family doesn't do exchange gifts and all after we (me and my siblings) all started college up to now, though my grandpa likes gathering everyone of his kids and grandkids and have a party of sort but that's scheduled for another day so all i do here is stuff my face with food, lie around, log in here, sleep, repeat.
