@ina111, I know if was time consuming, but I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate you for recapping this episode. I could follow it pretty well, but you cleared up several things I wasn't sure about. I've actually been watching some of the Chinese dramas, including historical, there are several more I want to see, but they're not subbed.  I just finished watching the Thailand version of Playful Kiss (really liked because it's very different, yet the same as the others). Now I'm watching these too actors in the Thailand version of Full House--these are my cutesy, fun dramas.

I have to say that Cecil, who has a child, doesn't seem to realize that it's her responsibility to provide for him. We know she has the money that DB told her to give to her mother.  It would be nice to see Cecil try to get a job for herself and not for other people so they can support. I think it's strange hat DB takes her nephew to school

I tool love GY and his wife. It's very obvious that she's the 'thinker' in the group and ensures that they have some money stored away--without his knowledge it appears...

I think it's too cute that HD and SG had little nicknames.  It's easy to see that HD was one of the tough girls in school. I can't help but get the feeling as these two become closer, HD's ex-husband and his new 'wife' are going to try and interfere with their romance. Who knows, HD's ex may try to get her back after seeing how devious his wife and her daughter are.

GH is going to slowly find himself falling for DB.

@lclarakl  @ina111  @krgirl87  Chingu's did u not see when SG was listening in on HD and that man conversation, and how SG jumped out of that cab, then started to swerve his hair like DH used to do when they we're teenagers in school, I couldn't help but lol and loved it at the same time.

@lclarakl  I also think NS and his greedy money hungry Mistress might interfere with SG/HD  being together, and as NS getting jealous like u said probably will want HD back once he see's how she's living that good life without him. 

I asked myself that question as well, why the hell DB has to take Leo to school when Cecil isn't even working but begging DB for her money, Oh I would like to see a change in that storyline quick, fast, and in a hurry

I replayed that whole scene a couple of times. I thought it was nice to see HD smiling for a change. 

 

@lclarakl I also agree with you, I think the ex and MR will be a big problem for HD's new relationship. Also, GO (SG's mother in law) doesn't really want him to find a new woman. I think she told SG that she wouldn't mind if he did, but she doesn't want him to add that woman to the family register.  Ugh. MR has already told GO about her husband's ex, and of course she lied and made it sound like HD was in the wrong. (I don't remember the details, but it was something like "she recklessly spent everything we gave her and now she harasses us.") When GO finds out that SG, who has reassured her that he is not interested in remarrying, is close with HD, she will NOT like it.

I am really interested to see how HJ will react. Will she side with her grandmother and against HD, or will she be supportive of HD and SG as a couple?  After all, HD is JY's mother and a woman who could make her father happy. Perhaps she might want to become close with HD and try to make DB's life difficult from that side too.

Speaking of unhappy GO, she seems really upset in the preview and I think it's because MR said something about HJ being engaged. Did HJ's little performance in front of her ex start rumors already?

It's just so sad the way JY died and how, his presence was short lived in this drama. I like KJH when he played with CJW in Her Legend drama and also played with Cho Yeo Jeong in I Need Romance drama.

I think HJ is going to want HD with her father so she can have HD on her side against DB, but as I've read the synopsis saying. Now these three women live together while overcoming their own personal problems and becoming important to each other. So if anyone who do try to harm them it isn't going to work in their favor, and as we'll see all 3 of them HD/Cecil/DB accomplishing their goals even with trials and tribulations that'll be up against them.

I really enjoyed today's episode. But is it just me, or is this the second time that HJ has strained her ankle and GH has had to help her? Weak ankles girl.  It's pretty obvious that grandmother doesn't like GH.  Poor thang, I can see him being tortured by HJ's grandmother. Grandmother may also turn on HJ's dad if he shows an interest in a woman since he's not her son but her son-in-law.....or is she his mother?

@lclarakl chingu I liked yesterday's episode as well.

I think if HJ keep on her hurting her ankles she will need to replace them lol. 

Halmoni was getting upset with GH it wasn't his fault that her granddaughter can't walk in heels. Now halmoni has probably lived her life the way she wanted to, but I see her in this drama wants have control over HJ and her father SG love life, in which I truly believe halmoni is SG mother-in-law who's so protected of him talking or being with another woman coming into his life (HD) for instinct will have to duke it out with halmoni.

I think HJ is starting to have feelings for GH the way she was defending him from her halmoni, but wait until halmoni get a load of it when she really start to show it around her.

Question? Who Jung Wook (Wang Yoo Sung) HJ's uncle will get/be with in this drama, I hope not MR spoiled daughter but will continue watching to actually find out.

After watching today's episode, I knew it was going to come a time when that chic Soon Shim will try to ruin DB sauce and today she did. I think that little heffa added something to DB sauce to give it a bad taste, while HJ seen her in the kitchen with the sauce in her hand but isn't going to say anything about it. Now we know HJ wants DB out of the company, but just wait until she finds out that GH will start to have feelings for DB. Please" Not only will HJ will want DB from her fathers company but off of this planet world as well.

 DB should ask GH to let her redo the sauce over if he thinks she's lying.

I can't wait to see the next episode as its looks promising and it's getting good by each episode, and 4 me to know that eventually HJ and her accomplish Soon Shim will get caught in their tracks.

@ina111, I hate to bother you, but if you are still watching this drama, why did HJ's grandmother want to meet with GH? Was it to tell him to stay away from her granddaughter or is she giving her blessing of their union?

@suchadiva42, the only think I kept thinking in today's episode that eventually the company is to go to HJ, but she is so petty and immature that the company will surely fail if she's at the helm.  She should have fired the other girl for tamper with DB's sauce even if she doesn't like DB. Since she can't separate business from pleasure, she's keeping someone like that on staff to probably help her in the future to sabotage DB.

After seeing the baby in GH's drama as he was being abandoned by his mother, so sad, I am convinced that MR is his mother......but I really hope not.

@lclarakl, chingu I also was thinking as you and hoping that MR isn't GH mother, Yes it was sad the way he was calling out to his mother for her not to leave him.

I agree HJ wouldn't be able to handle a company like that, all she'll only think about is a man well being as well as her feelings first, then put the company dead last to probably go bankrupt.

Yes I can also see HJ using Soon Shim to her advantage only to jeopardize DB at the company when needed.

Lastly" Well 22 episodes are in while the pace is on time and I like how everyone storylines is going so far. The next episode is a good one with MR daughter Seo Hyang and Cecil going at each others throat including water splashing in someone's face

@lclarakl It's not a bother at all. I am still watching, but I'm behind with this week's episodes. I have been spoiling them by looking at news articles and previews though, so I have a rough idea of what's going on. I watched that scene just now, and it's more the former - halmoni wanted to tell him that she is against him as HJ's marriage prospect.

 

Here's my rough understanding of what happened. When halmoni met with MR and NS in ep 20, MR congratulated her on HJ's engagement, saying that she heard about it in her beauty shop. So halmoni was already upset when she saw GH escorting HJ home and the two looking so close. She told GH to behave as befits a company employee, asked if he knows about the nasty rumor going around, and what if that hurts her precious HJ's marriage prospects. GH apologized for causing her concern. HJ asked halmoni to stop because GH has done nothing wrong. 

Later HJ apologized for getting mad, and halmoni asked her if she has feelings for GH. HJ said she doesn't really know, but she dislikes seeing him be insulted.

 
At their meeting in today's episode halmoni told GH that she's worried because it seems to her that HJ thinks about him differently (i.e. has special feelings for him), and perhaps it's a needless anxiety of an old person, but she couldn't just disregard the strange rumors about HJ's engagement. She told him point blank that she has no notion whatsoever of him being a partner for HJ. He responded that he doesn't either. Halmoni seemed a little surprised, and said that he must have given some leeway for HJ to think that way. GH replied that he thinks that there's no need for him to take responsibility for HJ's feelings. Halmoni then told him that she dislikes his coldness. She is searching for someone who can warmly embrace HJ, but looking at him, he seems like a person who doesn't know how to give or accept love, and she dislikes him for that. Anyway, she thinks they've understood each other's meaning, so it's fine, and she hopes that they don't need to meet again over this matter in the future. 

Halmoni is not exactly wrong, GH is very cold and ambitious. (Don't worry halmoni, our DB will fix him! ) However, if GH had told her that he likes HJ, she probably would have lectured him on how such a man with no pedigree is not good enough for her precious granddaughter.

You can say that again DB is going to fix/break GH out of being a cold shell and here's one who can't hardly wait to see it 

I knew HJ feelings would start to show, you seen how she was in GH office and was about to call him on the phone but he came in. I said, there she goes trying to find out GH whereabouts if he's in his office or did he go home, in which she might become a little stalker in this drama and as I've always say you never know what'll happen watching these K dramas 

I was also thinking if and when halmoni finds out that HJ likes or falls in love with GH, I can see Halmoni taking it out on GH for him not wanting to be with her spoiled granddaughter HJ, because he might not have no feelings whatsoever for her that it'll end up probably being a one-sided love anyway.

@ina111, Thanks so much!! That really does shed some light on the subject. I figured that's wha they were talking about, but halmoni was a bit calm so I couldn't really tell. I also agree that DB will help GH get over his coldness.

@suchadiva42, I too think that halmoni is going to later be upset with GH when he starts liking DB and HJ gets jealous and starts acting out.

As mush as halmoni is showing her dislike of GH, it wouldn't surprise me if she later tries to force him to marry HJ. She must think HJ is some prized goods, apparently she doesn't know about the ex-boyfriend who has been threatening her. I'm sure that will probably resurface and I think halmoni will want to use GH because no other man with pedigree will want her granddaughter if what the ex-boyfriend said about pictures of her.   I hope it turns out that way, can't wait to see what she does.

I'm still trying to figure out how halmoni is going to react to SG possibly falling in love again. I'm not sure she will like that either--especially seeing how she was starring at a picture of herself, her daughter and HJ.

In today's episode, for Cecil to have a sickly child, she doesn't seem to take his well being seriously. Him being left out in the cold after school is a little much as she tries to pursue an acting career.

I love, love, love that DB caught HJ in the act of switching the labels.

@lclarakl, chingu I also think when Halmoni finds out about HJ's ex boyfriend, she's gonna want to pressure GH to go out with HJ and even down to marry them off like u said. as I can see that's coming from miles away.

Halmoni probably do think her precious granddaughter is too good for someone like GH, but will need him down the line to stop the scandel about HJ and her ex.

I truly believe Cecil needs to find something else to do besides her acting in which it's way off the charts meaning she can't act plain and simple

@ina111, quick question that I forgot to ask yesterday.  What is the business deal that HD (mother in law) and HJ's grandmother are working on together? So far, grandmother seems to like her. I have to wonder if it will lasts once she knows that SG is falling for her--I love their romance too.

Chingu now since mentioned it and I think your right about Halmoni was asking SG to look over some photos of those men's for HJ, in which MR was with Halmoni earlier in her office looking over them.

@lclarakl HD got a job as GO's personal driver. Go seems pretty fond of her, and I wouldn't be surprised if HD ended up becoming GO's personal assistant in addition to driving.  This is getting fun!

In this last episode GO was looking over some documents and had trouble reading some part, so HD offered to help. It seems that the documents were about charity donations (medical support, scholarship). HD expressed her admiration, and GO said she was just continuing work someone (she mentioned a name I think, maybe her daughter's, not sure) did before they died. HD said even so, she herself couldn't even look after one person properly and mentioned how raising someone else's child was much harder than she had thought. I think HD then offered to donate a small part of her salary to this charity, because she's always wanted to do that but kept delaying, then after she got her money taken away, she regretted not having done it.

Over lunch HD told GO about her divorce and financial troubles, and GO sympathized with HD. Then GO commented how there are different situations out there in the world, how some suffer because of their husband's ex wife (LOL, I bet she was thinking of what MR told her), and how some suffer because of a cheating husband. Just then MR happened to call her and ask how JH's marriage candidates (photos she gave to GO earlier) worked out. GO told HD later how considerate this person is, because she cares about their affairs as if they were her own.  

I imagine MR will find out about HD's job and her friendship with SG first, and she is going to try her best to poison GO's mind against HD.
