Im Siwan And Hong Jong Hyun To Embark On A Rescue Mission To Save YoonA In “The King Loves”

 

 

On July 31, MBC’s “The King Loves” revealed preview stills of Eun San (YoonA) surrounded by royal soldiers and Wang Won (Im Siwan) and Wang Rin (Hong Jong Hyun) coming to her rescue.

Previously on episodes seven and eight, Song In (Oh Min Suk) became suspicious of Eun San, who knows the existence of Moo Seok (Park Young Woon), the culprit behind the “Bokjeonjang case” he had devised. At this, Song In spread false rumors that someone from Wang Won and Wang Rin’s side was killing the witnesses of the case.

The still below shows Eun San being falsely charged with a crime and becoming surrounded by royal soldiers.

Other stills (see featured image) show what happens next when Wang Won and Wang Rin come to the rescue of Eun San, who is being violently interrogated. Wang Rin looks like he’s about to shed tears  as he touches Eun San’s bleeding lips, and Wang Won has an angry and flustered expression on his face. These new stills suggest that their love triangle will intensify further in the upcoming episodes.

Episodes nine and ten will air on July 31 at 10 p.m. KST.

Watch: YoonA, Im Siwan, And Hong Jong Hyun Are Playful And Sweet Behind The Scenes Of “The King Loves”

 

 

MBC’s “The King Loves” recently released some cute behind-the-scenes videos of YoonA doing scenes with Im Siwan and Hong Jong Hyun.

In the making video of YoonA and Im Siwan, the two actors are acting a scene in which Im Siwan uses a parchment to get close to YoonA from behind, in a makeshift “back hug.” The two are all smiles when the camera stops rolling, playfully shouting “YOLO!” whenever someone on the staff says “Bring [the prop] here,” which in part sounds similar the American slang. “YOLO” then becomes the code word for bringing props onto the scene, elliciting smiles all around.

In another behind-the-scenes video, YoonA is with Hong Jong Hyun, acting out a scene in which their two characters have a run-in while eavesdropping on a secret meeting and must hide together. Stuffed under a table, the two actors have a good time, engaging in quiet conversation and playing around between takes.

Im Si-wan to release duet with Jo Hyun-ah

 

 

Former member of boy group Ze:A and actor Im Si-wan, who is currently in the military, will release a duet with band Urban Zakapa’s vocalist Jo Hyun-ah sometime before October.

According to music industry insiders, the singer recorded the song before his enlistment in July. It will be released as a special single.

Im’s agency, Plum Entertainment, confirmed the news on Monday. “Im Si-wan finished recording his duet with Jo Hyun-ah before his service,” it said.

This is his first musical activity in approximately two years. The last was his participation in Ze: A’s final album “Continue” in 2015. This is the first song he is credited on as an artist since his soundtrack for the drama “Misaeng,” “But…So…” in 2014.

His duet partner, Jo, is member of indie band Urban Zakapa, which has many hits to its name such as “Walk Backwards,” “Moai” and “Alone.”

Watch: Im Siwan Tenderly Sings “My Heart” For “The King Loves” OST

 

 

Im Siwan’s “My Heart” OST for his MBC drama “The King Loves” is out!

The star of the drama presented fans with a melodic gift as he lends his voice for the drama’s OST.

“My Heart” is a ballad that features an acoustic and orchestral sound. The beautiful track was created by the producer team 1601 who previously worked on the famous OST “If It Is You” (sung by Jung Seung Hwan) for tvN’s “Another Oh Hae Young.”

Im Siwan’s sweet and sincere voice complements the song resulting in a tender-hearted ballad.

As he is currently in the army to fulfill his mandatory military requirement, Im Siwan recorded the track before he enlisted amidst his busy schedule. It was previously revealed that he also took part in a to-be-released duet track alongside Urban Zakapa’s Jo Hyun Ah as well.
