You are right, @hiranade. The interview was made after the shooting of "The Liar and His Lover" has ended and Takeru Sato already started shooting for "Rurouni Kenshin Kyoto Inferno". That is why he was promoting the movie with his Kenshin look.

it was a pleasure @pechumori. sharing same interest abaout this movie. maybe this isn't his best movie but this give different vibe in different way.
Btw,  I never feel envy with Sakurako whereas she has many roman-scenes with Sato, it's very different when sato act with emi, wae...wae...I'm feel jealously  :D ...whereas there isn't roman-scenes in RK

this is my most favorite of sakurako pic

I love that photo too, @hiranade. Her hair is not so...mushroom-y. And I agree, standing next to Shohei Miura, she really looks petite. A little girl with a powerful voice. :D

It's true, this is not his best film. All of his fans know that the RK series is his best. But this is his first romantic movie and it has a special charm to it. Everything in it makes the movie worth repeating over and over again...the love story, the bromance, the OST. When you watch it, it takes you back to the time of your high school days. You can easily relate to that feeling of Riko when she realizes that she has actually fallen in love with the writer of the songs she loves to listen to. It's similar to knowing that your crush also likes you. At the end of the movie, you feel in love with the idea of being in love. That is the feeling that I got from this movie.  :x

yeah @pechumori, not only make Sakurako looks petite, Shohei also make Sato look shorter than usually^^
honestly at the first casting of this movie, I was surprise with the female lead, why the team production make audition to choose female lead? why they not take popular actress or girls Idol as a lead? and the answer is amazing voice which found in Sakurako. her voice make this movie more valueable and worth watching.
u can described very well Riko's character.
I like u'r line " It's similar to knowing that your crush also likes you" aww...my mind go wild, can't imagine if my crush also like me :D
