Joe took a shot at acting for the very first time through a cameo for tvn’s friday drama titled, “flower grandpa investigation unit. ”meanwhile, the episode.

Teen Top member L.Joe took a shot at acting for the very first time through a cameo for tvN’s Friday drama titled, “Flower Grandpa Investigation Unit.”

On June 20, a representative from the drama revealed new still cuts of the Teen Top member acting during a scene on the set of filming.

In the drama, L.Joe takes on the role of a high school student named Uhm Si Woo, who witnesses a crime scene for the very first time, and also has a crush on the crime scene team leader’s daughter, Jae Hee.

The released cuts show L.Joe showcasing his acting potential as he defends Jae Hee by asking, “Would a small and cute girl [like her] commit a murder?” His natural yet serious gaze seen in the photos is raising fans’ expectations for his cameo.

A representative from Teen Top’s agency, T.O.P Media, shared, “Despite this being L.Joe’s first time acting, he got the ‘OK’ after one take during filming, without any NGs.”

Meanwhile, the episode of “Flower Grandpa Investigation Unit,” in which L.Joe will be appearing as a cameo, is set to air on June 20 at 9:50 PM (KST) on tvN.

Eun Ji points out the director Choi as the person who stole the music box. In order to find whether the director Choi is a gold fish member, GFI follows him to the public sauna looking for the gold fish tattoo on him.
Meanwhile JH’s family is spending a pleasant vacation in a water park. JH receives a warning from the gold fish about his family’s safety and he immediately drives there but his sister, Soo Jung, is already kidnapped.
In exchange for the kidnapped Soo Jung, the gold fish demands GFI brings the body of the dead conglomerate chair person.
Without knowing the reason, GFI has to steal the body of the dead chair person. Could they carry out the mission successfully and retrieve Soo Jung?

[HanCinema's Drama Review] "Grandpas Over Flowers Investigation Team" Episode 7

It's hard to feel sympathy for a murder victim who's also a flasher. This episode marks the closest "Grandpas Over Flowers Investigation Team" has ever come to an ambiguous killing, where we actually feel bad for the murderer being led away. This is fortunately averted well enough by the ending, which is predictable mostly because there aren't that many suspects in the first place.

But then, who needs murder suspects when we can have every possible moment of investigation or serious drama interrupted by a flashing? It's an incredibly dumb joke to be sure, yet I couldn't help but the find the sheer crudeness of it to be very funny and in keeping with the drama's general spirit. It takes some time for the team to even get started on the case to begin with, and their typical lighthearted antics do a lot to lighten the mood.

The love triangle, ironically enough, doesn't get too much play in that direction. There's very little genuine romance here- just a lot of absurd scheming. I don't know what Jeong-woo's plan is, but given how ditzy Eun-ji is in even the most serious of circumstances I can see why it works. Bear in mind it's not a very good plan to begin with, given how unclear it is who's supposed to be being affectionate to who.

I should note that ditzy isn't really an insult here, since once again, every character that isn't Joon-hyeok comes off at least partially as being a bit dumb. Even without the context of their being transformed into old men, I have to wonder how well Kang-seok could get away with his weirdly cute and childish behavior, constantly smiling and dressing in pink. They also all have remarkably short attention spans. It all seems rather undignified.

Yes, dignity in a mystery drama about a bunch of old men who are trying to find out who murdered the flasher and why. The entire idea is just so out there- I feel kind of awkward just having to use the word flasher, since without context it's not a particularly intuitive word. "Grandpas Over Flowers Investigation Team" isn't putting too much worry into that kind of composure, though. Its goal is clearly defined enough. Deliver low brow comedy with the trapping of weekly mysteries and a broader plot that's presumably going somewhere eventually. For the moment, it's doing a decent enough job.

@mdolphins Surprised to hear you are still watching it.  Last week finally I watched EP6 and I thought it was surprisingly good.   At this point I’m in for the character, Lee Joon Hyeok(CJH/ Lee Soon Jsae) but I also like the rest of the cast who knows how to interact to each other so I don’t mind watching it.   EP6 had many touching moments.  Then I saw some of EP7 and it had a few unsavory scenes, especially about people portraying so called Burberry man.  To me B man is a pervert yet the drama gave such a comical sketch about it. I thought somebody in the network needed a head exam. Then today I saw an article which I’m about to post.  It seems, if I’m not wrong about my translation, Park Min Woo will be back from EP9 to EP12??!!!
Before I mentioned Heechul could be some sort of guardian(spirit) for the gold fish. In EP6 the shaman said something about him and Park Jung Woo(Heechul )responded he might be a spirit. Now I feel there is a good chance that Jung Woo might not be human. Heechul in the drama, has the air of 4D Heechul plus whiff of alien. Besides, a lot of time Jung Woo is the one who goes around to smooth things out and he never gets angry at Joon Hyeok . In EP7 the way he looks at JH has the mixture of sadness and concern. Well at the end he could be himself the gold fish!!   Haha

Park Min Woo will appear from EP9 to EP12. In the drama his character turns back to the original younger halbae, Han Won Bin.
