In the first episode of Sweet Springs, Choi Se Young(played by Park Se Young) was discriminated for being an adoptee.

Se Young has been studying hard for the exam to become an anchor. She also had a part-time job as a reporter in between the spare time. She was a good daughter to her foster father, Choi Jin Sa(Lee Ki Young), who owned a bakery.

However, her adoptive grandmother wasn’t fond of her. At her birthday party, she yelled at Se Young, “Nothing great has happened every since you came into this house.” Then she said to Jin Sa, “I told you not to adopt her.”

From reading the REVIEW! What grandma said to Se young awwww.. That wasn't nice about. Nothing great has happened since she came into this house. It's no easy being adopted. Because u really dosen't know how u will be treated!! Then again they're some families that's loving, kind, and caring, etc... Actually will go out of their way for u... It dosen't have to be about the same blood line. It' really about respect also!!  For order for u to recieve respect, U also has to give respect. Age dosen't matter..... Well i watched the 1st ep. looks interested, can't wait to watch it with subs though!! :-w

Ep 2
-geez the grandmother is just so annoying... Se Young is kind enough to give her a birthday gift but she didn't show any remorse or feel sorry after what she said to her ~X(
-her sisters are so kind to her.. the elder sister was hilarious she doesn't want to be called ahjumma...
- when Min Gook was drunk he confronts her mother (Kim Jo Hee) they were talking about Se Young, i think he was blaming himself on why they lose her..
but when i saw Lee Ji Yeon covering her ears because she doesn't want to hear the conversation... that was just ouch!!! i feel for you gurl... maybe she was thinking she is or was never part of the family or she can never replaced Se Young... that was painful to watch..
-when they were at the sauna Jang Dong Wook is obviously have a phobia of police officer... i don't have any idea if he just came from prison or he will be imprison on the upcoming episode.. :-??
- the guy that Se Young chase i think he is the husband of Yi Young that's why she's pissed when he saw him with another girl..

im not korean and i don't know korean language please don't take seriously what i said i could be wrong...
i just based it on their action.. since Action Speaks Louder Than Words... kidding
:P
feel free to correct me...

In Sweet Springs, episode 2, Lee Mi Sook(played by Yang Geum Suk) said to Kim Joo Hee(played by Shim Hye Jin) to separate Lee Ye Rin(played by Lee Hae In) from Han Jae Sung(played by Yoo Gun).

Ye Rin was interested in Jae Sung and tried hard to approach him. She went to Jae Sung’s house to say hi to the family, but Mi Sook kicked her out of the house. Then she called Joo Hee to come out to a coffee shop.

As Mi Sook saw Ye Rin at the coffee shop with Joo Hee, she wasn’t fond of it. Ye Rin caught the look of dislike on her face, and went out of the coffee shop.

Mi Sook said to Joo Hee right away, “Not everyone can become the wife of the eldest son of a historic family. Ye Rin is not good enough for my son.” As Joo Hee stayed calm, she added, “And we don’t even know who her parents are.”

Joo Hee replied, “Same goes for me. I don’t want Ye Rin to greet a low level mother-in-law like you. I’ll keep in the words I want to say to you for now.” Then she left.
