Actress Park Joo-mi has been in car accident and she's being transported to Seoul.



Her agency reported to Star News on the morning of the 24th, "Park Joo-mi has been in a car crash around 11.50PM on the 23rd on the Jung-an Highway of Kyeong-buk".

Her car crashed with a 25t dump truck along with her manager and coordinator in the car. They are being transported to Seoul right now.

There was a shoot for the drama "The Great King's Dream" on the 23rd in Je-cheon. She was moving to Kyeong-ju when the accident happened. The level of injury can only be told when she reaches Seoul.

The other two, her manager and the coordinator can also be checked for their injuries in Seoul.

Meanwhile, Park Joo-mi is currently taking on the role of Princess Deok-man (Queen Seon-deok) in the KBS 1TV historical drama "The Great King's Dream".

PARK JOO MI INVOLVES IN CAR CRASH.

According to her agency, the star of the drama "The Great King's Dream" was traveling on the Ogori Highway in Gunwi County, North Gyeongsang, on Tuesday night when her vehicle collided into a truck weighing 25 tons.

At the time of the incident, although her stylist and manager were hurt, Park's agency released a statement saying she was fine.

However, upon undergoing tests at a hospital in Seoul yesterday morning, it was determined that the actress may have some internal injuries, according to Ilgan Sports.

"Her seat belt saved her life, but she needs rest right now", a clinic spokesperson told the sports paper, adding that she would need at least eight weeks off to recover. As it stands, the network and Park's manager have yet to decide what will happen to the star's schedule.

"She is currently being treated in the intensive care unit, and according to results, there is a chance that she may have to quit the drama", KBS said.

Actor Choi Soo-jong from "The King's Dream" fell off his horse.

Choi Soo-jong was in the middle of shooting the KBS 2TV drama "The Great King's Dream" when he fell off from the horse. He was taken to the hospital but returned only a while later with minor injuries.

It doesn't seem like a big injury but just for safe measures Choi will be put through MRI and other treatment.

Meanwhile, this is the second time an accident has happened to a member of the drama. The first was Park Joo-mi in a car accident.

Park Joo-mi was in a serious car accident on the 23rd nearby a Kyeong-buk gas station.

Those who have heard about the accident say, ""The Great King's Dream" must see an exorcist", "I hope everyone recovers soon", "The drama almost ended", "The production must be having a hard time" and more.

In previous post I mentioned that Bi Hyung and Gidal (in the dramas) were said to be appeared in folk tales only as ghosts. They weren't real persons like this.
Gidal here was quite annoying , he could survive unbelievably after being stabbed, and threw off a cliff and even burnt. But he finally died in Ep 8.

character King Gukban air time ended after appear as the old ages. And about the princess, the director made her to marry him, this fact really frightened me.

im sure they must have been careful but there are unpredictable accidents. The traffics now are very hideous and mad drivers , so being extremely careful is not redundant.

Park Joo-mi is recovering

After her car crash on Oct. 23, Park Joo-mi is currently recovering at a hospital in Gangnam, southern Seoul.
A spokesperson for her agency said that they'd just visited the star and that she's been moved from the intensive care unit to a regular room.

"The results are to come out later this afternoon and we'll decide what to do with Park's schedule after", said the agency, while maintaining that health comes first.

Choi Soo-jong injured on drama set

Just a day after his co-star Park Joo-mi was hospitalized because of a car crash, Choi Soo-jong hurt himself on the set of their drama in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang.

While filming a riding scene for "The Great King's Dream" on Wednesday, Choi fell off his horse and tore a ligament in his right shoulder.

Despite the injury, Choi is pressing ahead with the filming schedule.

"As soon as the accident happened, we took him to a hospital and he was diagnosed with a torn ligament", Choi's manager said yesterday. "But filming had to go on, and Choi went back to the set straightaway".

Choi's manager said the 50-year-old actor would have to refrain from vigorous action scenes "as he won't be able to lift up a sword".

The accident came as a surprise as Choi is an expert horseman, having starred in many period pieces.

Meanwhile, Park's accident took place Tuesday night and she is waiting on test results to determine whether or not she can continue on the program.
