New photos of T-ara’s Hyomin on set of ‘The Thousandth Man’ revealed

T-ara‘s Hyomin has been captured on the set of her new drama, MBC‘s ‘The Thousandth Man‘.

A user recently uploaded two new photos of the singer-actress onto an online community board titled, ‘Hyomin filming for her new drama‘.

The newly shared photos show Hyomin dressed in a “bottomless fashion” with her hair tied up in the first photograph, and a red top and skinny jeans in the second.

Hyomin plays the role of gumiho on ‘The Thousandth Man’ who must eat the livers of 1,000 men in order to become a true human being.

The Thousandth Man Recap / Summary of Episode 2

Misun (Mijin's mom) scolds Mimo (Hyomin) for trying to seduce Eungsuk (Chunhee). She says they are humans now, so they should act normal. Misun says that Mijin (Yewon) needs to urgently find a new man, but is instead at home, sulking and refusing to go to work. Mimo jokingly wonders if Mijin is a fox or bear (
there's a Korean legend where a bear has to eat garlic and mugwort in a cave to become human).

Misun notices a crowd of people on the street and finds out that there is a young man trying to commit suicide by jumping off a rooftop. Suicidal Boy complains that his girlfriend broke up with him, he has no friends, and he lost his job. Misun calls Mijin and orders her to make him fall in love with her. Mijin goes to the rooftop and asks Suicidal Boy if he wants to get something to eat. They go to Eungsuk's restaurant, and Chef Kyungsuk gives Suicidal Boy a special dish from Marseilles. It's so delicious that it makes Suicidal Boy cry tears of joy. However, Eungsuk berates Mijin for being so desperate that she's dating a suicidal man.

At home, Mimo is trying on Mijin's clothes when Woohyun stands outside her balcony and calls her. Mimo sees Woohyun lift his shirt to wipe his sweat and she asks him to show more of his abs. Woohyun asks her to show her abs too, so they both flash their abs :\"> .

Misun invites Suicidal Boy to dinner and tries to convince him to date Mijin. Mom's plan is to get Suicidal Boy to fall in love with Mijin so he can give his liver to her.

Mimo goes to Eungsuk's restaurant and tries to flirt with Eungsuk, but he says he has no time for her. In response, Mimo says she'll only stalk him for two hours a day. Woohyun teases Mimo for being rejected by Eungsuk and tells Hyomin to date him instead
:x .

At Eungsuk's house, Eungsuk takes his medicine, but his vision becomes blurry. (The medication Eungsuk takes is dexamethasone, which is usually prescribed to cancer patients :(( ). Eungsuk calls Mijin and apologizes for getting mad earlier. They talk and Mijin complains that humans complain too much and are weak.

Mimo becomes jealous that Eungsuk likes Mijin, but Mijin reassures her by saying she'll never date Eungsuk because he doesn't like her.

Mijin, Suicidal Boy and Suicidal Boy's ex-girlfriend Hyeyoung meet in a cafe. Mijin gets permission from Hyeyoung to date Suicidal Boy. Mijin and Suicidal Boy go on their first date and he chases her in a meadow. However, Suicidal Boy gets muscle cramps from chasing Mijin because she's super fast (speed must be a supernatural gumiho power).

Mimo stalks Eungsuk and Eungsuk asks if Mimo has any pride. Mimo says handbags are a woman's pride, and throws away her expensive handbag to show she has no pride. Eungsuk goes to his old elementary school and takes pictures. He visits a restaurant he used to go to, and bumps into an old classmate he used to have a crush on. Mimo says she'll pay for their meal, but realizes she doesn't have her wallet because she threw away her handbag. Eungsuk takes this chance to run away.

Chef Kyungsuk goes to Misun's house to make dinner for her. Secretary Junghak glares at them. He becomes insulted when Chef Kyungsuk calls him "sekki," which means bastard in Korean. However, Chef Kyungsuk tells him that "qui est-ce que
" means "who's that?" in French. Secretary Junghak secretly calls 411 to confirm that Kyungsuk isn't lying :)) .

There's a flash back to ancient times where Eungsuk and Mijin playfully splash water at each other in a creek.

Back in modern times, Eungsuk tells Mijin that he's organizing his memories. She asks why he's thinking about the past when he should think about the future. As they walk home together, Mimo catches them and complains that Mijin is flirting with her man. Eungsuk starts to get annoyed, but he becomes dizzy and collapses. Mijin gives him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

The next day, Eungsuk wakes up and remembers Mijin kissing him. He wonders how he was transported from the street to the rooftop
. Chef Kyungsuk says it must have been a dream.

Mijin goes on a hiking date with Suicidal Boy and he says he'll kill himself if Mijin breaks up with him. This makes Mijin cheerful and excited, so she starts telling him ways he can kill himself: falling off a cliff, eating deadly nightshade, etc. Suicidal Boy trips and sprains his ankle and Mijin becomes very tempted to eat his liver
>:). Suicidal Boy Assertive Man has an epiphany and he realizes that he should have never let go of his ex-girlfriend's hand. He thanks Mijin and goes back to his ex-girlfriend.

Hope this drama continues to get good ratings :-bd !! leeemyis said: Thank you so much for sharing.  I don't know what to say anymore.  They're all perfect for each other.  I love Chun Hee and Ye Won.  I also love Woo Hyun and Hyomin too.  Where can I watch episode 2?  T_T

Idol group B1A4‘s leader Jinyoung has made a cameo in the sitcom, “The Thousandth Man.”

On August 29, MBC announced, “On the third episode of ‘The Thousandth  Man,’ which will air on August 31, Jinyoung will make an appearance. He will play the role of Min Kyu, who is a young man going through the pain of his first love.”

Jinyoung’s character Min Kyu, is the man who Mi Jin (played by Kang Ye Won) loved back in the eighties. He is plain but a great dreamer. But his relationship with Mi Jin ends badly over a small misunderstanding. After 27 years have passed, Min Kyu (then played by Jo Duk Hyun) has become a man in his late-forties, who has lost his dreams and lives as a lonely father.

In order to portray the young Min Kyu in the eighties, Jinyoung changed his hairstyle and sported big framed glasses. Despite it being his first attempt at acting, staff members praised Jinyoung for his perfect execution of a shy young man in love.

After the previews were released, netizens commented, “I can’t wait for a black-haired Jinyoung,” “I thought he was only good at singing but I guess not… I better watch this in real-time,” and more.

This episode with Jinyoung’s cameo is set in the eighties so viewers can expect to hear many sentimental songs that bring about happy and nostalgic memories.
