Managing Company Star M and Wellmade is merging together. Wellmade is the same as Softland company?

Feb. 26th, 2008

Korean Actor Star M is the managing company with a lot of famous stars such as Jang Dong Gun, Huyn Bin, Gong Hyung Jin, Shin Min Ah. On February 25, they announced that they have signed a monopolistic contract with some famous actors of Wellmade such as Ha Ji Won, Uhm Ji Won, Go Eun Ah and some of Oracle such as Lim Chang Jung, Ryu Seung Bum, Kim Ki Dong, Kim Min Hee, Yoon Jung Hee…

Star M will contribute a schedule for the activities of 40 stars belong to its company. It will take the actor Jang Dong Gun and the actress Ha Ji Won as the center point. Furthermore, with the joining of these stars, there will be a big change of power between management companies in the Korea entertainment industry. Star M, Sidus, Yedang, etc. are considered to be the ones that have the most powerful nowadays.

From now on, Star M will participate in many fields. They will invest to produce dramas, movies, entertainment shows and will arrange their own shows.

Good choices! Star M sure have chosen some of the more popular actors and actresses to manage under their company, especially with HJW and JDG! and even with Hyun Bin () and Gong Hyung Jin~

wow, some of the biggest stars under one roof = a big happy family?

it’s a pity that Hyun Bin only had Snow Queen since he joined Star M.

i hope they would find more projects for him. he’s been resting for too long.

and i don’t think JDG has projects like a drama or a movie these days.

Partners4Life, Wellmade is currently known as Softland (or the other way around, not sure anymore ;)). Wow!! They're going to merge?! And even put Jang Dong Gun and Ha Ji Won as their center point? I hope they will be paired up soon and with Hyun Bin too! This is big news :crazy: Thanks for the links for BoBo VIP. Disappointed that JIS wasn't there. But anyway some of her other close friends weren't there either, such as Kang Dong Won, Kwon Sang Woo. But Jang Hyuk was there, also a hunk. Who was he supporting?

JIS and HJW pics! I love them a lot!! Miss their pairing. If I'm more motivated and have the time, I will be able to give you guys a present soon. But I will keep it a secret as to what kind of present :rolleyes:

My favorite is "Autumn in My Heart / Autumn Tale" with Song Seung-heon & Song Hye-kyo, it was my 2nd or 3rd Korean drama. It still gives me a very sad feeling every time I hear its theme songs or see anything that's related to it. SSH is my #1 crush! Hehee.

I have seen quite a few K-dramas, not as much lately. For the upcoming dramas, I plan to watch "East Of Eden" (SSH) & "Spotlight" (Son Ye-jin).

Did you also watch New Heart? Cause I saw you in the thread a few times. It's a nice show!

It seems like she can do it all - she goes from horror flick heroine, action star, to a demure gisaeng in the blink of an eye! Today she was the angel who reaches out to our less fortunate neighbors. Ha Ji-won is the lady of the hour and today's actress on STAR FOCUS.

It has been some time since we've seen Ha Ji-won on the silver screen or television, but today she made an appearance at a very public event. Ha Ji-won was taking part in the celebration for the "Smile Again" Foundation, which aids low-income families, as well as the handicapped.

She's an actress with a lot to be proud about. Her productions are well-liked, as is the actress herself. But fondness for the star isn't solely based on her performances; she's also loved for her charitable actions. Ha Ji-won told us that nothing compares to how it feels to help children.

Ha Ji-won's first movie was "Truth Game", and the electrifying performance she gave brought her the honor of "Best New Actress" at the 2000 Daejong Film Awards.

The jumpstart landed her in several horror flicks - which MOST actresses would try to avoid.

Like we mentioned before, Ha Ji-won has a long list of productions and an EQUALLY long list of varying characters. She's the epitome of the "all-weather" actress - no character was too hard to handle. But even after all that, her passion for acting and her determination to do more grows stronger day-by-day. So we asked Ha Ji-won what type of role, or production, she was still DYING to do!

If it was "scary movies" that brought her into the limelight, it was the challenging period productions that introduced her to the world as ACTRESS Ha Ji-won. She even took "Best Actress" at the 2007 Golden Chest Prizes for her role in one, the TV drama "Hwang Jin-i".

"Timid" is not a word in Ha Ji-won's vocabulary. She doesn't shy away from the hard action that a production requires. Ha Ji-won played a scrappy boxer in , and even with all the boxing-related injuries, like getting punched in the nose(!), she didn't back down.

Whatever she does, she's always giving 100% - whether it's to share her time with the under-privileged, OR she's diving headfirst into a production! She seems almost TOO perfect, but Ha Ji-won let us in on a secret of hers today when we asked about what she was like - the PRIVATE side of a very public figure.

There's a new role that's waiting for Ha Ji-won this summer, tentatively titled . It's Korea's first movie about natural disasters - the tsunami, to be exact. With a couple productions lined up for the year, what other new year's wishes could this actress have?

Ha Ji-won is a fantastic actress. she was great in duelist and hilarious in 100 days with Mr arrogant.

I loved her in the drama What happened in Bali, her character was so cool.

㈜스타엠은 기존 전속 계약된 배우 외에 추가로 톱스타 5~6명을 영입할 계획이다.

이에 따라 ㈜스타엠은 장동건을 중심으로 하지원 김제동 임창정 류승범 등 40여 명의 배우가 포진한 국내 최대 규모의 연예기획사로 재탄생, 연예계 지형도에 지각변동을 예고했다.

I personally don't think Babo is doing too badly considering the 2 movies that are ranking ahead of it. If you look at the figures, Babo is in a clear cut 3rd position. Fighting! XP
