The cast of Something Happened in Bali made a guesting appearance on a game show. Jo In Sung and Ha Ji Won talked about a 'kiss scene' that almost broke their teeth! They were all so funny and enjoying the game a lot. )

Since Something Happened in Bali had an early start and an early end in 2004, premiere episode on January 3 and final episode on March 7, the drama and the cast were nominated at the 40th Baeksang Arts Awards which took place in either March, April, or May. (Ha Ji Won's previous drama Damo which ran from July 28 up to September 9, 2003, was also nominated, but she got her nomination for Something Happened in Bali.)

Ha Ji Won was one of the MCs of the awards ceremony.  She got the Best TV Actress Award and Jo In Sung the Best TV Actor Award, while So Ji Sub got the TV Popularity Award. For Damo, Lee Jae Kyu PD got the Best New Director Award. The MC herself and her dramas grabbed awards. =D>

Something Happened in Bali got high viewership ratings, with a peak of 39.7% in Seoul area and 31.8% nationwide for the final episode, and average ratings 25.6% and 26.4%  for the 20 episodes. Therefore, with these high ratings and impressive acting of the cast, the drama received many awards. Main leads Ha Ji Won and Jo In Sung received the Top 10 Stars Award and the Top Excellence Award. =D>

At this event, Ha Ji Won's escort was the handsome Kang Dong Won, since they got their invitation for Duelist screening. But Jo In Sung was also there. In fact, the 3 of them were seated next to each other, Ha Ji Won between Jo In Sung and Kang Dong Won. (She was sitting between these 2 handsome guys. [CANCELLED] Reunion in The King 2 Hearts
Actually, this TK2H male lead casting was really confusing. From what I remember, it was in December 9, 2011 (after Ha Ji Won's comeback from China for Sector 7 promotions) when she and Jo In Sung were headlined to reunite in the previously entitled The King. It was a very good news to those who love the Bali Couple, since there are many fans out there who ship these two for real. A few days later, it was reported that it was not yet confirmed. They made the fans anticipate for it only to say in the end that Jo In Sung declined the offer. Then, there were news stating that actors Won Bin, Lee Byung Hun, Lee Je Hoon, and Cha Seung Won were given the offer to take the role, but they all turned it out, either choosing other project over this or other irrelevant reasons. It even came to the point that Ha Ji Won, who was the first and only choice for the female lead, almost dropped it because the production couldn't finalize the casting right away. Finally, it went to Lee Seung Gi, whom we all believed to be the last actor given the offer.
*Okay... I just found out about this recently. Read here for the original post. In fact, Lee Seung Gi was not the last choice, he might be the first!  
Jo In Sung's Cameo in The King 2 Hearts



Well, it was a nice metaphor! All the actors who have worked with Ha Ji Won! Jung Ji Hoon (Rain) in Love Story MV (2008), Kang Dong Won in Duelist (2005), Jo In Sung in Something Happened in Bali (2004), and Hyun Bin in Secret Garden (2010). Remember what Kim Hang Ah said? "Oh! It's Jo In Sung!" =))

Even if I'm not a solid fan of Something Happened in Bali, I do like Ha Ji Won-Jo In Sung team-up. They are the one and only Bali Couple! And if there's one thing I won't forget about this couple is the behind story that they both revealed: almost broke their teeth because of the kiss. LOL. )
