Updated June 15 KST:

The military musical “Return: The Promise of the Day” (literal title) has been postponed indefinitely due to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Production company Insight Entertainment announced the decision on June 15 and wrote, “Although we had tried in many ways to hold the musical, including postponing the premiere date, we have come to the decision that it will be difficult to hold the musical as planned with the growing number of COVID-19 cases in the Seoul metropolitan area and the government’s announcement on June 12 to extend stronger measures in the Seoul metropolitan area against COVID-19. Therefore, we will be indefinitely postponing the musical.”

They continued to state, “We are sad to be sharing this news as we know you have waited for the June 16 premiere, which had already been postponed once. We sincerely apologize for postponing the musical once more and causing confusion,” and, “We ask that everyone continue to stay alert against COVID-19, and we will do our best to make sure our musical can return. Until the day we meet again on stage, we hope that everyone will stay safe and well. Thank you.”
