After watching the subbed version of their latest episode, I really feel that the table has been turned. Leeteuk is playing a more passive role now as compared to last time: 1. The little self-cam that has been prepared by leeteuk (seems like an impromptu shot initiated by MBC crew unlike what he has done when he went NY last time) maybe caused of his incredibly busy schedule in comparison to the many video shots (+self initiated mission) made by sora. 2. The pre-preparation before their long awaited meetup. Leeteuk would always prepare something (as evident from the previous episodes from songs to small gifts or even excessive missing thoughts prior to their meetup or even when they have not met for awhile, while sora passively received. But this time round, sora's arrives at the house early, prepares food, filled with anticipation and excitement and curiosity about leeteuk's progress that she has to explicitly write questions to reaffirm herself how he misses her and about how he felt before their meetup, which before that, leeteuk would verbalise naturally last time. 3. Leeteuk loses his usual sensitivity that he usually has in variety shows, as he did not notice the changes in the post-its as well as sora's hiding the room. 4. He was a lot less expressive as he always praises sora to be beautiful on what she wears or does. But this time round it is sora who kept praising him and his muscles. In conclusion, he is definitely not is usual self in this episode. Exceptionally overwhelmed with his awkwardness (and nervousness perhaps?) that he lost his meticulous and sensitive self. He seems abit lost/disoriented in this episode and sora's leading the show. But it's not all bad, I feel that NOW everyone can see how well Sora compliments Leeteuk and what a good match they are. Sora is not always passive and receiving. She understands what are her roles and she is required of her for her husband at the right time and right place. Just in case anyone misunderstands, I'm ALL FOR OUR DC. Just that as the clock is ticking.... Progression is necessary!

I'm just wondering when I watch the engsub of our couple the word Sora had said about leeteuk before they met is that he has this WITHDRAWN PESRONALITY and she plans to be more active in meeting him in order to remove the awkwardness..i got curious with it so I check what it means and I found out about this..

Withdrawn personality: Someone who is aloof and apathetic towards people. They have usually given up on people and sometimes, over time, have developed a cynical (but true) view towards the world. They believe most people are a waste of time and keep a distance from most people.

I guess sora knows a little bit of leeteuk personality that we don't know and it looks like it is true..When I remember leeteuk tweet in the gym where he is alone and everybody was outside I felt that this is his personality that only sora knows..maybe during their shooting breaks or behind the camera they talk about their personal life and with his childhood memories this personality will appear in him..

Sora knows that with their 4 months absence she has to make more efforts with leeteuk in terms of breaking the ice with them and she sure did..If this is leeteuk personality definitely if he goes to army and sora likes him she really has to have soooooo much effort to let him realize how important he is to her and seeing sora on that episode she sure can be able to handle our leeteuk..

2- Teukie has still reddish hair so it must be a picture taken before him turning blond (before star king recording on June 11).
3- I guess they filmed after MBC announcement, since MBC said DC had already to start the shooting.
4- we can eliminate from the possibilities the day of SMTown in Taiwan.
5- You can see that DC filmed around the same time from ep21 (the sun light from the window is about the same, I guess it is around midday? don't really know... the sun shuld be higher on midday... have to check...

So, if you can find some particular that can help, that would be great^^ We can also go for exclusion (so if you find Teukie pictures from other days, we can exclude that day^^).

Dear DC fans

I am coming out of my lurkhood cause I thought I should contribute my thoughts on this lovely couple.

I am turning 41 tomorrow so the new episode last Sat was like an advance pressie to me J, and from Singapore (*wave* to all Singapore fans.)

Frankly, I’m not one who follows Korean variety show, they talked too fast and I had to keep pausing the videos to get what they are saying and sometimes the topics are too hard to follow.  I much prefer Korean dramas. Not too passionate over shows or stars other than So Ji-sub.

I am also not a SJ fan – sorry to the ELF fans here. I do not understand the hype over them and I do not know any members.

I started to watch DC by accident.  Early this year, there weren’t many k-dramas that captured my attention so out of boredom, I chanced upon Strong Heart and found the episode of Kang So-ra and immediately got enchanted by her.  Out of curiosity abt this new rookie, I researched on her and found a fancam video of SJ Lee Teuk proposing to her at their concert.  My first thought was “Wow! She is the gf of Lee Teuk and so brave of him to propose in front of fans”  Only realized later that this was part of a variety show WGM after reading the comments. So I googled again and found the episodes on DC and after the first episode, I started the consuming passion over this couple.

As I never watched other couples on WGM, I do not know how the other couples interacted with each other, but what I can say is the eyes are the soul of humanity, body language does not lie either, no matter how good an actor/actress is.

My thoughts on DC so far – I do not know how Lee Teuk is but he was definitely smitten from the start, I noticed that while he was watching the video flashed on the first episode where they showcased the different actress, he was smiling and then he stopped smiling and deep in his thoughts when he saw Kang So-ra. If one wants to be delusional, my guess was he remembered meeting her on Strong Heart and that she had left an impression on him and must be thinking this must be fate.

He is not even acting cool – btw if I am Kang So-ra I doubt I will be attracted to him, cause he is what I call a ‘small man’ personality, he had trouble carrying the keyboard and when he visited SR on site, he was running around so awkwardly, so my feeling is that he is showing SR what he really is.

SR on the other hand must be won over by his sincerity after sometime, cause I find that one will not show their vulnerability unless they are comfortable with each other. The way she bumped on the piano in the school, then the many accidents she had at the furniture shop.  If both of them are doing things for the sake of the show, why do they want to showcase their weakness so much to their fans, after all they have an image management.

On the latest episode, while many are disappointed with Lee Teuk for not being active in showing his affections towards SR, I felt differently. The more one likes the other, the more they will show that they are indifferent and more reserved in showing too much, especially if one is still uncertain of the other party’s feelings. I would be disappointed if after so many months, LT immediately warmed up to SR.

SR’s enthusiasm is another thing.  Fortunately, she did a backroom interview if not we will be left wondering why the sudden enthusiasm J  She must have put in lots of thoughts before coming for the filming – who will bother so much if it is just a show – it is not easy getting your mother to cook and to collect the food so early in the morning, and anticipating that LT will be reserved again, she decided that she has to be more proactive to break the awkwardness, even the MC said that she is such a good woman.

I think SR is taken by surprise by the change in LT’s appearance.  His physique must have appealed to her so much that she doesn’t know how to react  coolly except to keep saying that she likes the new LT, to me, that is so real. I am blushing too while watching her poking LT and the way she looked at him at the dining table.

And the changing of dance costumes, esp SR, can make any man nose bleed. She is so sexy, I will die to have her kind of figure.  Bet LT is more enchanted by her now.

In conclusion, I felt that both complement each other greatly, cause they are so different in everything.  SR is quite clueless at times, she doesn’t know how to cook or clean properly, and obviously need someone mature to look after her, but she is adventurous in other aspects like at the reptile shop, amusement park etc, LT on the other hand, is so timid, yet a perfectionist, obviously loving a clean home, can plan his things well, if not how to be a good leader.  They said opposite attracts, my husband is not my ideal type and he is definitely the opposite of my character. So I can only hope for the best for both of them.

If they can be a real couple, I will start to believe in fate again hahaha. And who knows they can cash out the Hawaii trip from MBC by then. If not, I just enjoy their interaction while it lasts.

I won’t bother with the negative comments too much, everyone has a right to comment anything they want, what’s important is my own thoughts J

Also  I enjoyed reading the comments by the regulars and love the detective works of some, at least I know the timeline of all the events J and some back stories eg twitter comments, cyworld change etc.
