"W" Lee Jong-suk turns into a super chaebol

 

Actor Lee Jong-suk is turning into a super chaebol.

Stills of Lee Jong-suk in the role of Kang Cheol from the new MBC drama "W" have been released. "W" is a suspense melodrama about a super chaebol named Kang Cheol and a doctor named Oh Yeon-joo (Han Hyo-joo) going back and forth different dimensions to make their romance come true.

Kang Cheol is an venture company entrepreneur that is worth 1.5 trillion won and the holder of a 800 billion won fortune. He is the richest man in drama history with justice and manners.

The stills of Kang Cheol show him smiling in leisure but also looking sexy.

Kang Cheol's background is diverse. He took part in the Olympics when he was 18 years old as a gun shooter and took home the gold medal. Then he changed courses and took on computer engineering which led to his establishment of a venture company.

Aside from his super qualifications, he is good looking and has strong will to be the best in everything he does.Lee Jong-suk is always in discussion with director Jeong Dae-yoon and is doing his best.

MBC’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama “W” has released the first still cuts of lead actor Lee Jong Suk. “W” is a romantic suspense melodrama that tells the story of the incredibly rich Kang Chul (Lee Jong Suk) and curious surgeon Oh Yeon Joo (Han Hyo Joo) crossing in different dimensions.

Lee Jong Suk’s character is a founder of a start-up company with a market price of 1.5 trillion won (approximately $1.8 billion) and a young chaebol who has assets worth 800 billion won (approximately $690 million). Along with his multi-millionaire status, he is righteous and charming.

In the revealed stills, Lee Jong Suk portrays his character with ease and captures his personality. Having been the first choice candidate for the role, Lee Jong Suk transforms into his character seamlessly.

Kang Chul wins a gold medal in the Olympics at the young age of 18 and surprises the public with his decision to change career paths and study computer science. Following his studies, he founds a venture company and succeeds.

Actor Lee Jong-suk will take on the role of an extremely rich man in the upcoming drama series “W,” according to MBC.

Lee’s character, named Kang Chul, has lived a complicated but successful life. Winning an Olympic medal at the age of 18, he surprised the world by suddenly going to university to major in science. His life reached its peak when he founded a venture business and became a millionaire.

In the photo released Friday, Lee Jong-suk has morphed into a completely new character. Driving alone in his supercar, Lee flaunted his flawless looks with a pair of retro sunglasses.

“W” is to hit the airwaves every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m. on MBC, starting from July 20.
