I think nothing else could reveal clearer how he truly feels about SH. It was a moment of YH's instinctive reaction to the situation & nothing can be more honest than that. I just want to encourage those who, from time to time, get a little shakened or flustered whenever Yonghwa's loyalty towards Seohyun comes into question to think abt that one precious moment when YH revealed his true feelings for Seohyun - that moment when he thought he lost the ring. I think nothing else could reveal clearer how he truly feels about SH. It was a moment of YH's instinctive reaction to the situation & nothing can be more honest than that. Each time I think of that moment, it truly warms my heart

@ huiyen... i totally agree with you on that.. that's why im not at all shaken when i hear or read things about yong maybe like this or like that.. my romance radar ticks the highest for the seohwa couple.. they compliment each other.. yong's weaknesses are hyun's strengths.. so there is really a reason to believe that they LIKE each other.. it may just be a tv show.. but what the actors invest is their feelings and their own personality.. love can be found at the most strangest situation.. why not on a show right?

I seriously think that the reason why Yonghwa doesn't wear the ring recently is because of the rusting.

I remember he mentioned he never takes it off and wears it even when he showers so given the fact that it's $3 and the normal passage of time..the rust would make the ring very itchy to wear.

I hope they buy him a new ring..hehehe.

So many amazing moments, please allow me to post my favorites even though everything has already been spazzed about. Hehe

1. Banana Milk CF (cute!!)

2. Hyun waking up (cuuutttte!!!)

3. Yong handing Hyun his scarf and her thanking him (awwww)

4. Chatting on the train long into the night (I'm sure they got to know each other much better here. And no staff around! The camera was up on the shelf)

5. Standing closely together under the umbrella looking out to the sea. Love that look they exchanged. I'm sure Yong was thinking about how beautiful Hyun is. Trust me, I can read minds

Haha, and I thought it's only me who noticed! I wondered about this, too, but it seemed to be quite true. Take a look at these caps.

This part was when they were talking about Thailand concert. On the seat opposite their aisle, (lower right corner) the hand-held cam was resting on the seat.

This one when Hyun mentioned the bear song. Cam still rests on the seat.

It's the same as well when Yong was talking and Hyun laughed but I just didn't cap it.

On this one, since they have their jackets on, they were probably alighting soon so you can see the cam (lower right corner) being held up already and was filming them.

This seemed a bit silly but pretty interesting somehow. Wonder what else did they talk about. =D

Whoa!!! The discussion in the thread had taken up another turn. Previously, the seemingly endless talks had been about the "couple rings" and the "ideal girl" topics. Now it has stepped up a level higher ---into Yong Hwa's seemingly questionable "loyalty" towards Seo Hyun? Interesting, indeed!

On matters concerning the "Sweet Potato" couple, we may have agreed or disagreed... we may have concurred or differed in thoughts, beliefs, impressions, or perceptions, all in the light of healthy discussions. Some of us approach matters with certain caution and care while others choose to indulge in imagination to spice life up. We believe what we choose to believe either based on factual evidences or based on inferences/deductions. At times we believe what we choose to believe based on pure instinct or gut feel. And all of these are a matter of preferences drawn from perspective. But the power of validation--- whether true or false, whether right or wrong, whether real or unreal--- lies not within ones hand at this point in time.

It seems that the "balance of favor" is tilted more towards Seo Hyun, that Yong Hwa somehow has always been put in a "spot" subject to close scrutiny. For a great majority, this is understandable knowing the very nature and persona of this wonderful young lady. I myself has been continuously drawn to the "magic" that is only Seo Hyun's. But I have to remind myself as well that I came to know and discover the inner beauty, not in either one of them but in both of them, through this make-believe couple program WGM, as they are still in the process of bringing out the "best" in each other.

So that to say or to even least suspect that either one is out to inflict harm on the other is rather unfair. Yong Hwa, still, enjoys my "benefit of the doubt".

The coin has to be viewed on both sides, the square on its four angles and the line on its infinite possibilities. Only then can we say that we render a fair judgement at the end of the day.

i couldn't agree more. i just think those who get shakened about YH take a bit too serious about the other shows. coz you know, sometimes he might say something like ,say, "i really want to meet/i like *insert female artist name here*", just to make the show sound funny and entertaining. that's what showbiz is about. he said those things after thinking while the searching-for-the-ring reaction is like instinct that can't be pretended or lied. that's why i truly believe he really treasure his meeting with SH.

I am making my own statement about the "couple ring" based on what I am seeing from the World Cup rehearsal photos you posted.

Am I seeing it clearly when I say that Seo Hyun is no longer wearing a ring on her right hand?

Suffice it to say that the ring on her left ring finger NOW is the SNSD ring again?

Recall that she transferred the SNSD ring to her right hand when she began wearing the WGM "couple ring" on her left.

We have been seeing Yong Hwa not wearing the couple ring in his latest/recent performances. We, however, could not validate the same thing for Seo Hyun since SNSD went on a hiatus. Seeing Seo Hyun now, can it be inferred (from these photos) that she, too, had ceased wearing the "couple ring"?

If this is the case then, I still would like to think that there is a valid reason why the Sweet Potato couple stopped wearing their engagement ring. And I hope to get the explanation in the forthcoming WGM episodes. Who knows? Maybe the production decided to replace it with a "wedding ring".

And c'mon, for heaven's sake, I don't think that a beautiful girl, like Seo Hyun, deserves to be wearing a measly 2-dollar engagement ring.

“One fine day, I’d like to have a walk in the park or a street with lots of trees, hand in hand with her.” Jungshin’s dream date is so simple but very romantic at the same time!

The question went to Yonghwa again and he perplexedly scratched the back of his head and finally thought of an answer, “I want to have a vacation overseas with the girl I like, or maybe just have coffee together at times. I hope that we’ll have fun together, making a lot of beautiful memories.”

nazweena thank you for posting the zodiac! I'm always fascinated by those types of things and some of it really seems to be exactly like Yong and Hyun! You should definitely include it in the project magazine. Haha, would love to see Yong & Hyun's reaction when they read it just like when they did their couple quiz.

I have a possible reason as to why these two stopped wearing their couple ring....

remember when yonghwa almost lost his couple ring on inkigayo because it broke (he said that it had broke in half and he dropped it on the ground on purpose so that it wouldn't become damaged anymore)

anyways. MY GUESS is that... for dream concert (their 100 day) he bought her an official wedding band/ ring.

However, knowing how wgm pd's are.. they don't want to spoil it... so i don't think they'll be wearing the couple ring until the actual broadcasting of the episode where yong buys hyun real rings.

that's just my guess. knowing how jo kwon's little slip of the couple ring with ga in on family outing... the pd's stopped this couple from spoiling it anymore.

It was a good read! And commenting on Yong Hwa's answers on "ideal girl/view of love" and "dream date" specifically, am I the only one who finds all his answers likeable?

They were brief, straightforward yet having some sense and substance this time.

And to quote again those parts:

Though, I find it rather intriguing when he (YH) said that, "Anyway, I hope for some long and stable relationship." Have his past relationships been just brief? I wonder.

miel_1301, very well said, excuse me for cutting your post we may have different opinions on 'delicate' issues but it just a matter of respect. The truth, of course, we will never know especially the status of their relationship. It's kinda fascinating for me how most of us here visualizes the ring as some kind of a symbol to what they have. But whatever reasons they have for not wearing leaves us all to wonder and maybe, hopefully, we will get some answer as time goes. Whether or not they are wearing the couple ring now, for me I'm cool with the thought that it is tucked somewhere, a special place where they could once in a while get to use (if they need to or they want to) or just the thought of it being something to bring back some memories they hold... (why do I sound like using the future tense here...??? )

Oh Yonghwa is going to MC with Yuri on Music Core?

I read rumors a while back that he and some other girl was going to replace Tiffany and Yuri once they leave the show. I guess they're slowly preparing him for it?

Anyways, it would be pretty awesome if Seohyun was the 3rd MC.

I know Kwon and Gain were supposed to MC together as a couple last week, but they couldn't work around Kwon's schedule.
