Earlier today, Management SOOP, updated their official Facebook account with four photos featuring Gong Hyojin. On the said set of photos released, Gong Hyojin was seen sporting different cheers and poses working for a new advertisement campaign in support of the Korean national football team.

Furthermore, she was quoted saying, “The players of the Republic of Korea! I hope that you guys will be safe and will complete the competition smoothly. Just know that I will always be here to cheer you on! Wish you guys will enter to round sixteen.”

South Korea will have their first match at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil tonight and will be playing against Russia.

SOOP Entertainment revealed on June 19 that actress Gong Hyo Jin was involved in a car accident.

A rep told TV Report on June 19, "At 1:10 AM today, Gong Hyo Jin was on her way to Seoul in a car after wrapping up filming for her drama when she was involved in a car accident on the highway and is currently receiving treatment.  She is in shock right now."

Before the accident, she had been filming for her new SBS drama 'It's Okay, That's Love' in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do.  She was in the van with her manager and stylist when the accident occurred.  After her van and a truck had bumped into each other, they stopped on the highway when yet another truck collided into the van.  

The rep said, "Gong Hyo Jin sustained slight injuries on her forehead and face, but thankfully, the injuries are minor considering the details of the accident.  Currently, she and the staff members are being examined.  The exact situation will be known only after the results of the investigation, but she will probably be able to start filming again after resting for a few days.  The drama's first episode is planned for the end of July, so this won't affect the broadcasting schedule."

[Update] - Word has come from her reps that after looking into her condition and checking on her at the hospital, it has been found that the actress has suffered a fracture on her left arm. She is still undergoing various tests, and receiving treatment.

It has been reported that the actress suffered a fracture on her left arm and sustained minor scratches on her forehead and face, but is receiving treatment. The staff who were also in the car are being examined for an accurate diagnosis as well.

The actress’s agency, Management SOOP, told Yonhap News, “Fortunately, the injury is not major. After getting involved in a car crash, Kong Hyo Jin is receiving hospital treatment on June 19.

The people inside the car were confirmed to be Kong Hyo Jin, her manager, her stylist, and her makeup artist. Her agency staff stated, "We′ve only been able to confirm that Kong Hyo Jin received an fracture on her left arm for now. She′s currently being examined. We′re waiting for more details." 
Regarding her schedules afterwards, the staff replied, "It′s Okay, It′s Love began filming a month ago, so there′s some leeway. We will be changing her schedule as we find out what her injuries are."
