「チキンカツを食べたことがありました」

と書いたんだけど

この文では

「チキンカツを食べたことがあります」

の方が自然だと思う

でも

「食べたことがありました」自体は全然間違いじゃないよ、文法的に１００％大丈夫だから

例えば、「子供のころにチキンカツを食べたことがありました」と言えるし

ただ、「子供のころにチキンカツを食べたことがあります」と比べたらニュアンスが微妙に違うわけ

今その違いが分からなくてもいいんだけど、分かるまで「食べたことがあります」を使った方が確かだと思う

D'oh.  I see my mistake.  I guess I was in past tense mode and kept putting ta form on my verbs.
