That's what I love most about this drama it awakens me on the reality. Before, I really don’t think about marriage.. coz for me, it is so complicated that there are a lot of things to consider. But.. surprise…surprise..surprise! after watching WEDDING I came to my right senses on what IS the MOST IMPORTANT THING in MARRIAGE. Yes, there maybe a lot of important thing in getting married but there is this MOST IMPORTANT THING.

Love, understanding, acceptance, trust, communication, sacrifices, compromises, happiness, honesty and etc are really important matters and should not be disregarded in marriage.. But those stuffs are just accessories or spices to make your married life stronger….If we just have to dwell on it we will only find one important thing and it is the MOST IMPORTANT ONE.

Let’s recap the scene of Sena and SW wherein they are discussing about this thing:

Sena: What do you think is the most

important thing in a marriage?

Do you still think it's happiness?

Seungwoo: You? Is it still trust?

Sena:I feel that trust is the foundation, but at

times, I think it's communication.

And then I'll think it's sacrificial compromises,

and honesty.

And what else? Consulting each other,

Waiting, even if there's a difference in

opinions, must be considerate to the other.

Making tasty dishes, and just like what you'd

written on the cards, trying one's best.

It's becoming more and more. What

As you think of the important thing in marriage you will just lost count what are those things but the truth is you will just end up thinking that you have to have that someone who are willing to share all those things with you.. through time, laughter and tears.. and just when you realize to share those things and spend the rest of your life WITH someone, you want the rest of your life to start with as soon as possible =)

To make the long answer short..on What is the most important thing in marriage? For me, it's finding your better half...your destiny..your one great true love...someone who can share your love, honesty, understanding, fogiving and forgetting the past, sacrifices and everything..most especially sharing your whole life with .... =)

Glad that SW and Sena found that someone in each tther arms.

That's what I believe in now..And I hope in future I'll find that someone and better half of mine... =)

And I think with the way they present those stuffs (IMPORTANT THINGS AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING) through this drama is the main reason why the viewers hooked on it that made them smile, laugh, cry and fall in love..

Of course right after finding our better half..it is us who will make the marriage works.. with this we just have to follow and believe what SW's mom used to say to SW & Sena ...

Marriage means leaving behind one's parents

and becoming one with one's spouse.

Two person leaving behind the past, and

working together to carve out a new future.

and at the end they followed it and follow their hearts...

the BTS #10 doesn't include JNR either (I think she had already left for China or something at the time). it's the same exact dinner party, but taken by a different camerman and so there are different interviews of the cast, etc. But the setting is the same, so there are some similar shots as the Making of #17.

I know I have a version of Alright saved somewhere - just not sure if it's the Nara version. I will have to check and get back to you on that one.

As for the poem, I don't think I have the audio clip saved. And the romanization - I'm sure it's on one of these pages, but I don't know exactly where. sorry, my dear.

Yes, all of the "Show Power Video: Wedding NG Part(ies)" are different. Depending on the date they aired, they usually show the NGs for the previous week's episodes. It's a collection of NGs, in no particular order, so it's kind of hard to give a description for each w/o getting into too much detail. But I would recommend to try and dl them, if you can. And don't worry, the files don't expire unless NO ONE is dl them for 30 days. In other words, as long as 1 person is dl a specific file w/in a 30-day period, then you don't need to worry about it ever expiring. And even if it does, I (or someone else) could always re-up those files later. so don't worry about that too much - you have ample time.

hmm... of course everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but I don't know if that alone - the fact that the 2 of them were always fighting, making up, fighting, etc. - qualifies it for one of the worst drama... IF that is what you are saying. I mean, isn't that how all relationships are? both fictional and in reality? (you may say that the whole purpose of watching a drama is to escape reality, but I thought it actually did the job both ways.) IMO, despite the bad reviews this drama received... when I was watching it last year, I thought this drama portrayed the complexity of husband-wife relationships (let alone, all relationships) in that there are always misunderstandings which leads to hurt & anger, etc. in a very true and tried, "real" way - sprinkled with some "drama" (pun intended ) along the way, of course. At least that's what I remember liking the most about this drama. not to mention that I have always been a JNR & RSW fan.

I hope you don't get the wrong idea, juliee - I'm not picking on you or anything like that. I just thought it should be an open discussion based on your comment above.

WEDDING for me is the BEST kdrama..it's not just like any drama that for as long as there is script then it's done..WEDDING tries to brought up what is the reality about marriage..it has the reality..the sense of reality and realization..

"Wedding" wants to show that "love" is magical and marriage is not just a sweet matter. It shows shows what are the things and the most important thing in marriage. And that is a part of reality..isn't it?

And I think with the way they present those stuffs through this drama is the main reason why the viewers hooked in it that made them smile, laugh, cry and fall in love..and that's why I fell in love with it...Actuuallly I am hoping for a part 2..hehehe..and highly recommend it for everyone..

Honestly speaking, it's the first kdrama that I really do watched...after all these years...hehehe..also, it's the first dvd that I bought..hahahha..kinda funny but it's true..really...it changed my views and perspective about love and marriage and somehow my personality in a very positive way..of course I gained a lot of friends through wedding..

ahhhh..what else..what else..of course I do love the twist and the way they executed the flashbacks..and after seeing those flashbacks and the rest of the scenes in each episode..you can't help but to react..oh no! or say..what will happen next..the story is really amazing...of course, plus the sweet and so romantic scenes of the protagonists..and RSW and JNR really hooked me up...they are now my most fave actor and actress...love them both!

and about that fighting and making up? ahhh.. it's very obvious that..that is the reality..I don't think that there is no such marriage which does not involved figthing and making up...isn't it..they just want to show the reality...cause you will not appreciate the other if the other doesn't exist..it's exactly as the same as falling in love and being heart broken..those two really goes hand in hand...that's why it's called love...you are not being fooled by love..it's simply because it's LOVE..hope you don't get me wrong..it's just that I don't have the same opinion as yours.. =)

for juliee, hi there. i believe you did not watch the whole series, hence, your comment. wedding showed the life of two people after marriage, the ups and downs of a relationship and most of all working out their differences to finally enjoy their lives together.

to date, it is the best korean drama i have watched. ryu siwon and jang nara portrayed their roles so well, as if they were not acting at all. you can feel their emotions, that you laugh and cry with them. their chemistry was so great, which added to the beauty of the drama.

did you not enjoy watching their sweet moments? the oh so many kissing scenes? and even their lovers' quarrel... i have learned many things from that drama that i could not remember how many times i've watched it.

the wedding drama depicts what love is all about.

Wedding was the first (and still only haha) drama that i watched while it was being shown in Korea and everyone here were friendly, maybe because it was such a small group! i highly depended on translators, like n5y17cgirl

i'm not going to be in full defense mode for the drama. it's really up to the person anyway

i have friends who either loved it and disliked it - and couldn't understand how the heck did i get really into it

i forgot who said it here before, maybe the reason Wedding wasn't popular was there wasn't anything drastic about it. it was just a simple story of how two young people deal with marriage - including previous relationships, in-laws and your friends' opinions of your spouse (that can sometimes influence your point of view *coughs: Sena*). most people would've probably find that extremely boring but a minority of drama viewers appreciated it ... like me :blush:
