It seems that they'll be two releases in Japan this year. One in June and one in October. I wonder why there's two.

And Raito is the main character from Battle royale.

L looks good. I don't think Tatsuya Fujiwara (Shuya from Battle Royale) was a very good choice for Raito. Though I think he might be able to get the personality down fairly well, he looks nothing like him...

I'm glad they're making the Shinigami look like... well, Shinigami. Not some weird human-looking thing like they might be tempted to do while turning this to live action.

The cast is ..interesting. i dont think that the character for L should be Matsuyama, the guy from 1 litre of tears . but i guess he looks similar with all that make up. I hope it wouldnt be a disappointment. The Shinigami looks awesome
