It is the same cat you can see it on episode 9, Do you know that your avatar is from city hall too, if you remember they did the same scene in episode 4, there were a lot of things from city hall that were in Secret Garden, the mentioning of the bag or purse, and they even mention Kim Sun ah as the star that GRI was the stunt woman and they talked about a movie about a woman that was a level 10 that became the mayor and in the last episode there is a scene in SG that was an omage to City Hall too. I would watch and remember my beloved City Hall.

i was gone after secret garden big hit, but i am back to fight for right

to share wonderful kdrama like city hall and secret garden with everyone

i am also a korean drama crazy or addicted,

but i am an non asian girl and wish to have asian drama

YES! of cos I remember. this scene of what KJW did to GRI with the hood is exactly what JG did to MR when she was kicked out of the pagent.

the bit abt Kim Sunah as GRI and a woman who is level 10 became mayor I have not seen this in Secret Garden and also the last episode in Secret garden that showed abt City hall i din see it. but I will go watch City Hall again... probably my 5times  but its still good!!! i like Mirae a lot!!! kekekekeke!!! like Kim Sam Soon, very genuine and honest. and of cos Jo guk is damn suave! 

I noticed similarities but those who watch Secret Garden dont or may not watch City Hall so they dont see it. I asked in Secret Garden no one answer me about the cat.

I will go buy the Cat because its Mirae's cat in the first place. and I also intend to buy Mirae's trainers...

The same cat also appears repeatedly in On Air. Primarily in in the workroom apartment of the in show drama's writer. All three shows have the same writer so I have assumed the cat is a favorite of, or related to her. I have not had a chance to see if the cat shows up in any of her earlier dramas.

I suddenly realized that City Hall is nearing its 2 years' anniversary in April from date of it premiere. I can't believe it's 2 year already. I recently watched Secret Garden, KES's drama after City Hall and I must say City Hall is 10x better than SG. The body swapping storyline was a bit too much to take. I felt that it only got good at Ep 17 when the body swapping stopped.

Sorry for ranting about SG here on CH's thread. I was afraid the SG fans might hunt me down.

Absolutely agree with you 100%, etee7114! I had high hope of SG but City Hall remains the best work of KES by a big margin. Honestly, after CH, I am yet to find another drama that rocks me emotionally like it did. Time for a re-watch

hi guys, i watched SG 3 times in a row, and i must say it i Love it:wub:. it's my most beloved drama ever... but right now i'm watching CH and i'm in love. i'm in 9 epi so i don't know how i'll rate it when i'll finish it, but so far it's Awesome. i like every thing in it, but specially the main couple. CSW is my new adiction, so glad i discovered him!!!

Ow, I didn't know that. I've seen On Air, but I guess I haven't seen it as much as I've seen City Hall (Of course Alodia, you've seen On Air twice, and you've seen City Hall about 50+ times).

Yeah it could be 1.) Significant to the writer and/or director or 2.) a reuseable props of SBS, 3.) product placement - that has finally gotten its fame through Secret Garden. That cat is actually a cartoon character in Korea.

Just finished CH and i Adore it!!! one of the best and most beloved dramas i've ever seen (if not the very best) and with no doubt the best couple i've ever seen. KSA-CSW you rock!!!!! i need so badly to watch it again soon. i don't know how i'll like other dramas because i don't know if they can stand comparations....

I am new to this thread ... well that's because I just finished City Hall and am totally hooked, lined and sinkered! Totally!!!! I was practically been bragged, persuaded, almost harrassed to watch it and I have to admit I wish I watched it sooner:ph34r:  like when it was aired live!!! LOL ... I am loving your thread as it has so many things I love about this drama that I'm getting into. I love everything about it. The plot, script, talented cast, acting skill geniuses of CSW & KSA, production , music and of course the undeniable chemistry between CSW & KSA!!! I am soooo in love with this drama... when one rewatches the whole drama.. you know you are hooked for life.

I always thought my only love would be Coffee Prince... I'm afraid I have another love now...CIty Hall! I have to say both are like my children... so dont ask me to choose!!!! LOL I love em both!!!! Both are special in their own right!

Anyways, thanks for this thread.. I will be revisiting .... Thanks again for so many City Hall treasures that await me here...

I am so glad that this thread is still alive... It is true I watched SG with high hopes and I must admit it was such a nice drama, and beautiful, and some scenes are epic but all in all City Hall remains number one for me, I am about to watch CSW in another drama "The Greatest love" but he needs a strong partner like KSA and good writing, for his acting to be as good as it was in CH so let's hope that Greatest Love would be a success for his sake and mine, I promised myself to watch anything with him and KSA in it so I am like a good fan wishing to get the same rush I got from watching my beloved CH. I can't believe it's been two years since City Hall.

I am glad that this thread is still alive in spite of having this series shown two years ago. I am just watching it now, and I am hooked. I decided to give it a try when one of my friends told me that she's into it and loving every episode of it. So, hearing from a friend who is very meticulous in choosing what asian drama to watch, I gave in and from that time on...here...watching it alternately with 49 days.

The leading performers are good...no in fact that is an understatement...they're excellent....keeping me glued towards the end of every episode is a big deal...because I have the tendency to skip boring episode....

....am on episode 8 and at the same time reading recaps from dramabeans...can't get enough of it....

That is why I don't like the dvds the subbing from BON is much better... BON ruin it for me (in a good way), now I can't get used to the subs in the dvds I have to go and check on the computer after watching the dvd to see what I miss...  I bought this one from Yesasia, the new version was much affordable than the first edition, even though I would've loved to have bought that one, but still I watch it more online...

Which was the DVD you're talking about? Is it the YA Entertainment version or the director's cut? I'm planning to buy the DVD (I have someone who's willing to sell her director's cut *__* but if the subs aren't as good as B.O.N's then I might pass) since I loved City Hall too.

Are there any soft English subtitles for this series?

If there is any, kindly leave a personal message.

I will appreciate any help about this matter.

They say this is one of the great rom-com series. Hope you help me out.

I'm not here to troll... but... SG was already established as a drama with a body-switching element so I don't think anyone should think that it's a realistic story. It's a bit wrong to say that the body-swapping kills the story since the story didn't aim to be realistic from the start.

And to *alodia* thanks for making the first few posts so comprehensive. DAEBAK! <3 I learn more about City Hall because of the info listed.

I’m on episode 16 of City Hall (again) just to get ready for Best Love. And it took me like an hour and a half to end this 1hour episode cause I keep repeating scenes, I watched like 3 times the shopping mall scene and like 5 times the walking down the street scene (they’re like my faves, in fact 2 of my faves). I’d love to see KSA and CSW together again. They’re just perfect!!!! :wub:Please drama gods bring them together again!!!! Pretty please…
